Nat jumped a little at the sudden conversation and imediately panicked. Though he calmed himself down, and thought about it for a moment. "It would seem...I'm very happy for them...They've got a wonderful thing between them..." he noted, trying to be as casual as he could manage.

Nat was a little distracted, and his answer reflected it, brushing the subject off briskly. "Hm?...Oh I suppose...." he mumbled, skimming the menu desperately. "Ah. I think I'll have the spaghetti...." He smiled, setting his menu down with a glance to her. "Have you looked it over yet?" He asked, gesturing toward her own menu.

Nat shrugged a little, holding his hand up to call the waiter. "I suppose so..." He chuckled a little. "I could see them as a very quirky old couple...They'll be cute..." He smiled, then glanced down at his menu again, thanking God the waiter arrived. "Um Yes...Can we have a bottle of your finest wine, and a glass of water on the side for me..." He then proceeded to order his meal, trying hard about if he should be using this conversation as a hint to go for it, or to hold back...

Nat looked over at her, smiled warmly, and reached out to touch her face sweetly. "Love you too honey..."
Though just then, the waiter brought back their wine and Nat poured them each a glass. "To us...and our two years...." He raised his glass to her, taking a sip as his mind raced.

"Nothing but more happiness..." He smiled, still trying hard to keep it nonchalant and her unsuspecting. "Excuse me a moment...I need to use the restroom..." He said a little too formally as he stood, leaned down to kiss her cheek, and went off to the restroom, to really just gather his thoughts and make a decision.

Dammit, dammit, dammit.

Nat paced the bathroom floor repeatedly, trying to make up his mind to no avail.

"You can do this Natty... You know her...You know what she'll say... Dont you?" He furrowed his brow and looked in the mirror. "..." He sighed angrily, shaking his head before finally giving up on himself.

"Alright...fine...just-...go with it...and feel it out... abort the mission if you get the feeling its going bad..." He told himself as he took a deep breath, and headed back out to the table.

Upon approaching Teagan who was seated, Nat cleared his throat and tried to find a way to begin, though his heart pounding in his throat made it difficult.
So he figured he should just go ahead and kneel.
Though just as he was getting ready to pull the ring out, Nat couldn't help but just look at her face...her beautiful...amazing, face.... I can't lose that... He told himself, giving way to his fears. He seemingly left her hanging, looking down again and pretended to tie his shoe, to make up for his being on the floor already.

Nat's face was a burning red as he sat in shock upon the ground. Teagan's little outburst had been the last thing he expected. He really had no words, so he merely reached into his pocket, and pulled out the little ring box. "...h-here then..." He uttered so softly, his face still flushed as he handed it to her, opening it up to reveal A simple, yet stunning ring he had chosen out and bought with his own money he had been saving up for quite sometime...

Nat swallowed, then laughed nervously, taking her cheek in his hand. "Well maybe you should be here on the floor then hm?" He laughed,holding her hand in his.

"Teagan....When I'm with you, my whole world seems backwards and upside down... But I love it... I love every precious moment I have with you...and I want to spend every last moment God gave me with you... Will you do me that honor Teagan? Will you be my wife?" His shaking had surprisingly stopped as he took out the ring, ready to place it on her finger.
