"You'll see..." He gave her a little wink, taking her hand t kiss the back of it gingerly before rushing off to fetch them both some champagne.

Though in the meantime, An older gentleman made his way through the crowd, smiling to Kitty. Most of the guests knew him as one of the most reliable rising entrepreneurs for the past 10 or so years. Kitty merely knew him as Jess's father.

She had known this man back when he was nothing, though you'd never know he was by the way he was dressed nor his statute.

"Kitty? What a pleasant surprise! If I had known you were hear, I would have insisted Jess come as well, but you know that girl and her schedule... Look like you're hear with someone?" He glanced over to 'Nathan' who was busy pouring Champagne, but when he caught a glimpse of The older gentleman, he kept himself busy until he left his date.

He smiled with a nod, though kept glancing strangely over at Nathan.

"Ah, well we're doing moderately well. I havent really seen Jess in a week. I just got back in town the other night then had to take off again...it was her birthday too...." He furrowed his brow, obviously upset with himself for missing it.

"Though what's done is done, though really if anyone know's how Jess is it'd be you." He smiled and winked.

"How is my daughter, and how's you're shop holding up?"

Mr. Darling raised an eyebrow at this. "Another boy...." He furrowed his brow and looked away a moment, sighing as he glanced at his watch. I may have to call it a night early then... I should be going..." he mumbled somehting else as he began to turn away though stopped.

"Oh and Kitty," He bowed apologetically. "I'll do what I can to keep bigger businesses at bay. I may not be a Centurion, but I do know how to stall and sweet talk CEOs..." He gave her a little wink, before taking a step back. "It was lovely seeing you dear, you have a wonderful night and I'll hopefully see you again... for now I must pay a visit to my... enchantress of a daughter..." He had a joking, defeated smile as he kissed the back of her hand in a proper way before disappearing back into the crowd.

Nathan jumped slightly sensing her coming up, but smiled it off as he handed her a glass. "Y-you ready?" He asked, trying to shake the nervousnessform seeing an old scam. He made no mention of who the man was, though suddenly remembered Jess with a sickening memory. Well not sickening really as it was a rather...interesting deal. She was a very good kisser indeed.

Then again he he was much...darker then, Dark hair and a slight goatee. A traveling artist by the name of Antonio, he was smooth and wonderful just like 'Nathan' though held a rouge, dirty side, trying to look into her father's work through her. Though she hadn't seemed to recognize him, and neither did her father. Which was a good enough sign, though he was rather irritated when his people of interests seemed to somehow connect.

"It's just about time..." he took her hand gently though pulled her away from the crowd that was squishing out onto the balcony. He brought her over to a smaller, secluded balcony. The view was perfect really, and only a few other couples were there. "Just watch..." He whispered into her ear, slipping an arm about her waist.

Nathan looked down at her in glances, not wanting to be considered staring. She was lovely... And so innocent and wonderful. This he could tell. Though he shook it off, telling himself to stay in character. Nathan may have been falling for her... but not Samson. No, Samson never felt anything but his own want to stay alive. He didnt need the emotional ties that his characters craved.

So he simply swallowed himself, and let Nathan take over as he held Kitty close, and enjoyed the show.

"I'm glad you enjoyed it..." He smiled over at her before glancing at his watch. "Well since most of these hoity toity people will be heading home now, ecspecially since Centurion isn't here to keep things going, would you care to spend a little more time with me? Or do you have to turn in soon?" He asked with a soft question in his eye.

That look he gave her brought out a genuine amused and relaxed smile. She was glowing with the thought of seeing the town with a mysterious gentleman. It was rather...cute, he had to admit.

"Of course then, I was thinking we-" He was cut off by a vibrating in his pocket, he pulled out his phone, wincing at the caller ID. "I'm terribly sorry, I really wouldn't take this if it weren't important..." He nodded apologetically, taking a step away to answer the call.

His conversation was muffled quiet, annoyed really, then apologetic. Finally he hung up, and returned to Kitty's side, rubbing his brow in frustration. "I'm ...Sorry Kitty." He sighed, looking up at her, truly regretful. "That was an associate of mine, apparently he needs my help immediately. He said it was urgent, but I'm betting its just a business transaction. And usually I'd blow him off, ecspecially to spend the night with such a beautiful woman but-" He winced. "I owe him. Big time...so i'm obligated to go..." He took her hand in his, stroking them.

"I feel absolutely terrible! Here I had this whole night planned just for you! All I wanted was to get to know you better-" He stopped himself, his face turning red. "Oh I mean....erm..." He looked away rather embarassed.

"Yes, YES!" he exclaimed, giving her hands a squeeze as he brought himself closer to her.

"H-how about the day after tomorrow? Or tomorrow if this thing tonight isnt as serious as I'm hoping. Would you be willing to.... Oh I dont know... How about coffee?" He asked in his adorable accent, imploring her answer with soft, hopeful eyes.
