Arteries don't work like that.
*Rips dagger out*
Once the wound is open,
*Pulls sword out*
It gushes out all the blood in your body from that spot, not your mouth.
*Pulls out the last bit of blade*
And then,
*Begins ripping shirt into several strips*
Your poor heart begins to sense danger.
*Coughs*
So it pumps faster,
*Smiles*
And faster.
Until you begin to feel woozy.
*Finishes wrapping self up*
Then everything
fades
to
Black.
*Turns around and leaves you there, still smiling*
Would like to say to you.

Cutting the main artery would make me black out yes, but not instantly. But the body holds a certain amount of blood and the rate of blood loss only varies on the size of the wound. -raises hand up-But this is over. Good job.
