Vesh made his way back through the trees, out to the road and opened up his wagons door. It was quite a small wagon, but he didn't own much or share his space with anyone else. He had the odd tendancy to be anti-social...but deep down he longed to find someone to love.

Gwynna followed along, partially annoyed but also looking forward to a more substantial meal. How typical of a man, she thought. To show off his bits'n'pieces, invite you to breakfast, and not even give a name! She stifled a snort.
She glanced around the inside of the wagon, noting a distinct lack of personal effects. So he travelled light. Admirable for a gypsy-- so many seemed to haul around far too many useless items.

"Gwynna...would you mind bringing this outside and making a small fire? i need to go get some water from the stream" He handed her a box, which contained oats and dried apples. Picking up a pitcher, he headed back to the stream they had just come from.
The sun finally shone through Varekai's windows, awaking Anezka. She crawled up from under the sheets and pulled open the curtains fully. Turning around, she crawled up to Leshyae, placing her hands on her mother's face.

Gwynna accepted the box with a nod. Spotting the remains of a small campfire, she set the box down on a flat rock and went to find some twigs and dried leaves to act as kindling. She dug around in one of the many pouches hanging on her belt for her bit of flint. Crouching down, she started the fire in a few practiced movements, thankful that it was a calm morning with no wind. After a moment, the flame caught and grew steadily in strength.
Gwynna pushed her hair out of her eyes, tucking stray strands back into her headscarf. She took a moment to peer around the campsite, wondering why the man (whom she mentally tagged, "Crankypants,") chose to camp away from the others.

Vesh swiftly returned with the water and placed the pitcher on the ground and went to retrieve a pot to cook the oats and apples in. "Would you like anything to drink? Tea? Maybe Chocolate?" He sat down and scooped some of the oat mix into the pot.
Leshya'e groaned as the sun came in and touched her eyelids. Slowly she opened her eyes, looking directly into the face of her beautiful daughter. "Oh...Ani...My dear!" She sat up and craddled Anezka in her arms, crying slightly.

"Chocolate would be wonderful," she said with a smile. It had been months since she'd had such a treat.
"Does the rest of the caravan camp nearby?"

"Uh...well...no" Vesh gathered some ingridients to make drinks for himself and Gwynna. "I try not to camp too close to them...it defeats my purpose...I've already revealed too much of myself to them..." He turned his head and coughing, knowing Gwynna would most likely take that the wrong way.

Gwynna deliberately ignored the double-entendre. "Ah," she said dryly. "So which one do you watch?" she asked, narrowing her eyes. She knew men. Entirely too predictable.

"I...uummm...Valelldia...and Marissa...and Leshya'e" He swallowed, rubbing the back of his neck. "It's not what you think...well...it might be...it's complicated" He sighed and rubbed his forehead, then stirred their hot chocolate.

Gwynna looked him in the eye. "I see." She sniffed derisively. "In any case, you're not very good at keeping yourself secret."

"Well...I can't just leave them to die...or get hurt...or anything like that...sometimes secrets need to revealed" He exhaled loudly and stood. "And besides...no one knows why I'm following them...no one evens knows that I'm following them...beside you and Leshya'e" He walked back into his wagon and closed the door.

Gwynna rolled her eyes as he turned his back on her a second time. "So why not join them? Why be the creepy man in the woods?" She poured a cup of the chocolate for herself, not bothering to go after the man. He'd come out eventually, and it was no reason for her to miss out on a good breakfast.

"I don't want to talk about it" [a.k.a. I haven't fully organized my thoughts on his "purpose" yet, so for now he'll be anti-social]

He stood up, grabbing some spoons as he went. Exiting the wagon he looked at Gwynna, "...Veshengo..." He sat back down and started to boil more water.
