I'm going to be cosplaying in my Ravenclaw uniform for Otakon this weekend. HOUSE PRIDE GET. o/

I want to be an animator, but I'm not a good artist at all... I'll do my best anyway! I'm also studying Japanese, Mandarin, and Hawaiian :3 I read psychology books in my spare time.

I don't have the money to cosplay. If I did, I'd be all over it. xD

I'd love to do something with art, but I don't have the skill. I can do realistic portraits/still lifes, but other than that, I'm not that great. sad I've always wanted to be able to draw in the types of styles need for animation, though.

xD

I'm 5'8.5".

iWrite, I know what you mean. I've been my height since I was in elementary school. I was so convinced I was going to be a tall, mishapen freak forever. Luckily, everybody else got taller in high school, and I got better looking. So now no need to jump over a cliff.

Forensic Psychiatrist? Wow Ruruka, that's sounds really fun and neat. surprised A good career goal. I tossed around the idea of writer, english professor, and psychologist.

But my social studies teacher is telling me the only route I seemed to be made for is dictator. gonk

I like Crazy people...

People keep telling me that to be a psychiatrist/psychologist/therapist, you have to do two things.

1- You have to be a little bit crazy.
2- You have to know the difference in each. Other than the level of education.
_ _ _ _ _ _ _ _

I have both of those things down. I like knowing what makes people tick, and I can already read people. Not like divination people, but read their personality by how they walk, talk, sit, stand, posture, tone of voice, and reactions to different things.

(I have a high IQ and am highly independent. I research these things during school when the teacher is being slow)

I'm an artist, I draw a lot of anime style. I've actually drawn Ascella and Raina like, thirty times. I'm thinking about putting up a Fan Art thread in the OOC chat, but well, I cannot load the drivers for my scanner on my computer.

Though, I have thought ong and hard about being a professional artist, and then I thought. I like money. I don't like not having money. People in that profession are called 'starving' artists for a reason!

I originally just scanned them to the desktop and transferred them to my laptop with a flash drive. That was before my mother spilled an entire mug of Coffee on the computer, and fried it.
My mother felt so so bad. I'm trying to get the drivers to work, since I have a scanner/fax/copier/printer THING in my room, but I haven't gotten the right connector cords yet.

I made a Really good picture of Kale and Ascella. (Though, i screwed up heavily on Kales face, so I may just have to photoshop a large white dot over his face) but other than that it looks good!

I guess...

I'm back. My mouth is killing me, but I'm back and totally fine. Waking up from the anesthesia was the worst part, weirdly...
It was super fun going into surgery. I know that sounds creepy, but it was. I felt like I was in Scrubs.
Aaaand then I passed out.

Okay, just because I feel like it, I will give you a run down of my first two days of school.

Thursday: Okay, so my mom took me and my cousin, Amanda, to school early in the morning. We got there before most everybody. We met up with out significant others, my boyfriend, her girlfriend, and stood around and talked in the gym lobby for fourty minutes. Then, some lady picked up the phone and hit a button and it was the bell tone. We all left the lobby and went to our first period classes. Mine is Algebra 1. The teacher is crazy, but in a good way. I only know one person in that class. After Algebra was Gym where I met a new buddy named Jade. Then after gym, we had homeroom(who has homeroom as third period? We do!) I have it with my mom's friend who she's known since kindergarten and she is very awesomely awesome. After homeroom, I had English 1. I had ze awesomely awesome teacher again. I didn't like anybody in the class because they are not from my 'posse' as my madre calls it. After fourth period English, I went with a few buddies(Amanda included) to first lunch. The cafeteria food was slightly better than middle school food, but it tastes terrible coming up (I'll explain later). After a pleasant lunch period, I have Physical Science. I have a feeling the teacher and I shall not get along. It is longer than all my other classes because it has all the lunch periods (24 minutes each) in it. After that I had seventh period(that may sound confusing to you, but trust me, it's not that bad once you figure it out). It was French 1! I love French! A bunch of my sophmore friends were in my class, even though they shouldn't have been because all ze freshman now are at what they call the 'Freshman Academy' where we are basically shut off from all our other classes. The teacher is crazy, as on her board she had a reminder to herself. It read 'Buy crazy pills from doctor asap.' We're gonna get along. After seventh period was eighth period, World History. Another Awesomely Awesome teacher that knows my madre. Then, after that, I had to find the frikkin bus place and got on. I knew nobody on my bus. Then, once we got to the elementary school, all but seven of us got off to get on another bus. I moved to the back and realized that I was the only girl still left sad . Then it was ATTACK OF THE MIDGETS!!! There were so many kids, I had a huge headache afterwards. I got home(first stop) and went to sleepy sleep. Woke up, threw up lunch, went back to sleep at...7 o' clock.

Which brings me to today(Friday). I woke up at 6:09 this morning and realized that I forgot my Algebra homework(an about me paper). So I hurriedly did it and got dressed and then my madre took me to school. I waited outside for my boyfriend and then we went to the nice, a/c gym lobby. The bell rang and I went to Algebra. We had to actually do something today, that was bad. Very very bad. Then after gym, we got shown where our gym lockers are(I buddy with Jade) and then we went into a room near her office and watched Spongebob till the bell rang again and we went to homeroom. Today's homeroom was not as fun as yesterday, as we only had thirteen minutes instead of forty-five. After that was English, again with the Awesomely Awesome teacher, then after that was lunch. I have learned to never listen to Khloe, as she will lead you in a circle around the entire triangular shaped school. How that's possible, I don't even know. We finally got there and I realized that neither Coy nor Amanda were there, as they had decided to not tell me and go to the caf when we had planned earlier to go to the gym lobby. After lunch, we got to fifth period. In Physical Science we had to take a 60 question pretest and the only reason I didn't get finished was because I had to throw up. Let me tell you, I've been sharing it all day even if nobody wants me to share it, but skittles taste better coming up than down. After my barf-fest, I felt tons better and then we went to seventh period. It still ROCKS!! We actually learned today and I can say a couple of things. 'la cite' universitaire' is the dorms, college restuarants, etc. that existed outside Paris' city limits in the 1200's. 'la faculty' is the actual school and is usually abbrievated by saying 'la fac' which sounds like a bad word if you pronounce it right. After French was WH again and it was fun. She went over the rules and then we took a small little eight questioned test that I got six out of eight right. When ze bell rang, I ran to catch my danged early bus and got on. We got to the elementary school and the process from yesterday was repeated. Ze only girl, bunch of midgets, headache. All of that. Then I got home, ate something, watching Flapjack and wah-lah! Here I am!

And now, you know of my days.

WOWZA, dearheart. That is one full schedule, hon. I hope you're resting up!
And YOWZA, my face.
Sorry, I feel like being a big baby about my teeth. sweatdrop

I don't think your being a 'big baby'. I'd whine about my teeth too. Heck, I have. When I had braces, I got on so many peoples nerves, it wasn't even funny.

Okay, yes, it was hilarious. But that's not the point.

Not a baby at all! Heck, you shoulda saw me the week before I got my wisdom teeth out. I set the record of what they might call the b***h and moan. XD You have every right to complain.

@iWrite: Oh. My. Lord. That's quite a start of school. I'm sorry you threw up your lunch. Cafeteria food is so bad. Dx
PostPosted: Sat Aug 09, 2008 8:13 am

@Ruruka: Drawing my characters is one thing I wish I could do well. I can see them in my head and describe them down to the very last detail if I have to, but drawing them just never comes out right. D: And even when something happens to come out decently, my scanner munches it up and I don't have a program that I can clean drawings up in. xP

@iWrite: Your first couple days sound about like mine used to go...except minus the throwing up part. xD Through twelve years, I got sick at school once and only once. And I never did have to ride a bus, but the cafeteria got overrun with midgets at the end of the day when we went home. My school kept us all in there and our parents would line up around the school to pick us up. The teachers would call our number when our parents got there and we'd go home. I still remember one of my numbers, actually, but I had...8, one for each year of elementary and middle school. We drove ourselves or our parents picked us up in the parking lot for highschool.

@Captain Jeff: Glad things went well. ^^ I'm sorry you're hurting so much, though. I lucked out as far as pain goes. Didn't have a lot of it.

@Ruruka: Actually, the food wasn't that bad. Better than the middle school food by far. It actually tasted like food. Middle school food was more like....cardboard and sawdust?

@ElegantSarcasm: I never usually get sick at school, I guess it was because of the ebil(yes, I said ebil) stress headaches that I have to throw up to get better. I think the Physical Science teacher thinks I'm crazy because I refused a trip to the nurse. sweatdrop I remember my nana always used to pick me up from school before highschool. We'd wait around outside in the really hot or the extremely cold until our rides came. The bus is more convenient, but I still hate it.

Ew. Stress headaches. xP I was diagnosed with migraines when I was two, so I'm no stranger to headaches of any kind. Thankfully, I can get them to go away with advil, sleep, and sometimes a really cold wash cloth to press against my eyes. ^^ Unless it's a sun headache...those do not go away for anything.

Well Ele, if you sent me a detailed discription I could draw her for you, but I don't know when I'll be able to scan it.
I need to try and get the drivers loaded so that I can actually scan things. I can still draw it if you wish.

Truth. When I had mine out all I did was lie on the couch for a week, take Vicodin, and eat pudding. X3
