*Since nobody applied for Ufunuo and Ubele, and I loved all the Mchawi and Msiba entries, I will be letting Amon Larethian and Dolly_Llama decide if they want to get Ufunuo and Ubele or not.

If anybody's interested, here's some things I looked at when I judged:

Past RP history: For some individuals, I simply didn't know if they'd RP enough for the contest; I was going back through people's post histories, and in some cases it was easy to tell they RPed a lot in other places ... and in some case it was hard to tell if they RPed at all. Or they had had SoAs for a long time, yet little to no RP with them. Or they used to RP a lot, but hadn't been in awhile. It was especially hard judging some of the group RPs, when one person RPed a lot and the other didn't seem to. I really didn't want to change loads of people mid-RP event because they weren't RPing their characters, which is why this was so critical.

RP Style: This consisted of both how well I thought the person 'fit' the character and their own unique RP style. I also strayed away from applications that gave their character more special talents than they should have had ... only Ukweli is named as a seer, and even seers have very specific abilities.

Grammar + Spelling: This didn't rate super-high, but if there was a tie between two people, the person with better grammar and spelling invariably won.

I really urge some of the people who applied here that didn't get a character to apply for future RP contests. I had a really hard time judging several of the characters (Msiba and Mchawi in particular gave me a headache, even though there were only four entries, and I really wanted to give you all characters :<).

I'd like to take this time to thank my extra judge who helped me out in sticky places where I wasn't sure who to choose. <3 So thank you~!
