Alihi is speaking! "(HEY HUEY DID YOU READ THE LONG-ISH COMMENT I LEFT IN YOUR dA JOURNAL THAT HAD NOTHING TO DO WITH FMA? :D)
-sulks- I seriously hope the idea of pairing us together gets old soon..." ... And with a flourish of her cloak, she departs... for now.

It would be even more funnier if my character was Gatrie xD "Lyre.. Lyyyyyreee.. Such a pretty name" Shinon:"Gatrie, I swear you'd hit on a tree if I dressed it in a skirt."

I'm thinking about appointing someone as Ilyana and Rita's guardian in case Virginia dies. I was thinking about pointing Roy as their guardian just for fun, but I think that went off the line. LOL xd

But if Sean and Ilyana got together, wouldn't that be incest, since Roy is Lana's father and Sean is Lana's son? XDD

Guardian =/= parent, so no, it wouldn't be incest.

Well, it's not blood-relation incest, but incest like in Hamlet, where the queen marries the late king's brother. I think. ^^;

It would only be incest if Roy adopted Ilyana. Just being someone's guardian doesn't make that someone your child, so I don't think it would be incest.
As for marrying one's brother-in-law, that was the norm a few centuries ago. It was a brother's duty to marry his dead brother's wife to carry on the lineage. sweatdrop

True, true.
But in Hamlet, it was different--she married him 2 months after her husband died. Which is why Hamlet angsts over it like a sissy boy. XD

That was more than likely so that she could keep her crown, and reduce the chance of a coup. But, yes, Hamlet did harp on that too much, I think.

The king's apparent murder and the fact that they were all waaaay too okay with it is pretty suspicious, though~ (I'm only on Act I, please don't ruin it for me! ToT)

(I hate spoilers, so I won't spoil anything. I don't remember much about, actually, since I read it three years ago. We had to watch the movie in fact.)
You've got a point, and I do remember that. But normally, when the old king dies, people move quickly to get a new one crowned, even if the fancy coronation ceremony isn't held for a while. And of course, if the old queen wants to stay queen, she's either got to rule by herself, which normally wasn't done, or marry the next king, which she probably wouldn't do unless it wasn't her son--THAT would be way too awkward.

LOL xd No need to worry, Huey. I was joking about appointing Roy as guardian. It would really terrified Ilyana and Rita if Virginia DID do it.
