You were out playing around when something happened. You discovered your ability! What is your ability? Is it something like your mother's or your father's or is it something completely different? How do you react to your ability? Are you excited? Scared? Nervous? Happy? RP the pup as if it was in its child stage.
It was a lovely summer day, and Kalauri was out enjoying it. Romping, jumping, climbing, spinning, so many things to do outside that she couldn't have done before growing into childhood! She was running and dodging trees in the woods when one bush she was about to hop over started moving. She skid to a halt a few inches from it, watching it curiously. Plants weren’t supposed to move on their own! Was mom hiding somewhere making it grow? Or one of her siblings? She turned her head to look when something jumped out at her. It was huge! And hissing! With a high yelp, Kalauri jumped back as it took a swipe at her. Suddenly, a bright, hot light flashed in front of her. She heard the scary creature cry out in pain and run off. She carefully reopened her eyes, which had snapped shut from fear. Yeah, that thing was gone. But… what had that hot flash been? Kinda like the color of *Orange Juice*and so very bright. It had almost looked like fire…? It had looked exactly like fire! Kalauri tilted her head in thought. But where had it come from? She sat there a few moments before shaking her head in confusion. If she didn’t think too hard, the answer would come. Her mom had “told” her that once. So she hopped up and started running again, though back toward the main house. She didn’t want to run into whatever had made that fire again.
Kalauri soon came upon one of the small ponds inhabiting the woods and paused for a drink. She dipped down to the water and lapped some up. The water was tasty and cold on her tongue. It was cold... Like a flick of a switch in her mind, she realized what had happened earlier. She remembered; though the flame had felt hot against her face, she had not burned. Her fur was still white. ‘With a fire in your face, one would expect crispied fur!’ She thought excitedly to herself. The fire had to have come from her! Well, her father did have that ability… what was it again…? Firefox. Did she inherit daddy’s fire abilities?! With a happy squeak, she cleared a spot of dirt in front of her save a small stone for something to concentrate on. It didn’t take long before the stone burst into flame. She jumped in surprise, grinning when the flames left and she saw the stone covered in soot. She yelped when she saw the small pile of twigs she had cleared, but not put very far, had caught part of the blaze. She barked at the small fire, and then pushed it with a paw into the pond. She slowly raised that paw to her face. Again, she had touched the fire and not burned. It wouldn't burn if it was her own fire! That's how it worked with others and their fire abilities!
Giggling gleefully, she ran back through the trees and quickly across the yard. She wanted to go straight to Mugetsu to see if it was indeed his ability she had inherited, or just that regular fire ability she knew many wolves had. (depends on what the actual firefox ability is like) First, however, she needed to tell her caretaker. They would want to know what had happened, and would then take her to her parents. She laughed happily, slipping into the house, scuttling through the kitchen and bouncing off a wall to turn a corner. She couldn’t wait for them all to see what she could do!

Name Meaning: In The Tale of the Bamboo Cutter (竹取物語), Kaguya was found as a baby in the stalk of a shining bamboo plant. It is later revealed that she is the Moon Princess and she returns to the moon against her will.
Personality Outline: A mute moonlit, Kaguya communicates through her thoughts. She can send the thought or be in contact to speak to others. Ironically, she’s very talkative when she uses mind-speech.

Shivering in confusion, a snowy white figure sought refuge in the paws of her mentor. The older moonlit growled and bared her fangs at the offenders. Yelps were heard as the puppy's tormentors scrambled to escape the threatening figure.
"Go play with your brother, Kaguya," Eirwyn encouraged, gently nosing the two-tone girl towards her sibling. Yipping eagerly, she rolled and pranced towards Kasugami, her upsetting experience forgotten instantly.
His eyes widened when he noticed his charging sister. He bleated frantically. But Kaguya nimbly leaped over her older brother. Silly! I wouldn't crash into you! she crowed as she soared over his head. Landing lightly on her paws, she swiveled around to tackle her brother.
Except she never completed the turn. Suddenly, her eyes fluttered shut and her body crumpled to the ground.

The room was dark, yet she could see herself.
Where am I? Kaguya thought bewilderingly.
Then the scenery changed. The silent room shifted into a hill overlooking the large house where the moonlits resided. It was a beautiful summer sunrise with a few clouds in the sky. The scene shifted again, moving as if on fast-forward. The sky darkened considerably with large, ominous clouds taking over the sky.
Kaguya wondered, A thunder storm?
Just when she expected large droplets to fall, small crystals drifted down. A frozen flake fluttered down and touched her on her nose. Sneezing, the child lifted a paw and rubbed her nose. The fat snowflakes began to fall thickly. What was originally a flurry became a full-blown blizzard.
The perspective changed, moving as if a director ordered the camera to shift. Sitting down hard on her rump, she watched as the scenery zoomed by until it halted at a nearby cave. There was a puppy there. Squinting a bit, Kaguya frowned. Where had she seen it before? The sky rumbled dangerously. What isn't he going home? Hey you! she mentally shouted, Go home!
There was that rumbling noise again. But it wasn't coming from the sky. The puppy was frozen in terror as a torrent of snow came toppling down.
NO! she shrieked, horrifyingly watching the avalanche hurl towards the small figure.
This is my gift to you, beloved
I-is someone there? You've got to save him! she cried
Beloved...Daughter of the Great Goddess
Tears fell from her eyes and she hoarsely pleaded, I don't care! Just save him!
You can watch...but you cannot do anything

"Kaguya? Kaguya! Are you okay?" a frantic voice asked.
Her eyes fluttered opened, her tears continued to fall. Eirwyn? It was snowing and there was an avalanche and…
“Snow?” Eirwyn interrupted, “Don’t be silly! It’s the middle of summ--” Before she could finish her sentence, the wind blew harshly in her face. Looking up at the sky, Eirwyn wordlessly watched the crystalline flakes float down.
Glancing at the gaping moonlit, Kaguya quickly scrambled to her feet. If the snow came true, what about that puppy?
She made a dash for the cave she had seen. Skidding to a stop, her heart leaped into her throat as she watched the snow tumble down. Frantically, she began pawing at the snow, ignoring the icy burn. But it was too late. The sheer force of the snow had crushed him. Salty tears splashed onto the frozen body of her tormentor.
Eirwyn’s brow furrowed as she gently led the sobbing child away. Surely teasing someone didn’t mean such a fate.

I don't wanna announce the winner yet! I still feel bad! *is thrown to the ground* Oaf! ............. Fine I'll do it. *sighs*
Okay so I have the winner of the RP contest right here. *waves a piece of paper* I just want to say that I loved both of the entries. They both were so good and I had a hard time choosing. But one of them just stuck out at me and made me want to know more.
Ammy: *nudges Blue and barks telling to just announce it*
