"It is, isn't it. The ocean is so interesting." He tried to turn his head around to see her better, but found he couldn't see her as well as he liked. He reached behind him and pulled her off his back. He held her securely with both paws out in front of him, making sure she wouldn't even get the chance to drown. He looked into her eyes and smiled.

Zsinor nodded as she looked out towards the horizon. She blinked as she felt herself being lifted, and looked back to see that is was Paris that was holding her. She looked to either side as she was placed on his hands, before turning and looking at him, straight in his eyes.

Paris grinned, hoping she wasn't scared. "Don't worry. I won't let you go," he reassured. He let his hold on her loosen just a bit so she could feel herself floating on the water.

Zsinor lifted her paw up as she felt water below her, and was relieved that he hadn't let her go. She looked away to see beautiful shades of reds and golds tinting the sky, and looked at them in amazement.

Paris tried not to think about the approaching darkness. He didn't want the day to end. "Try moving your paws to swim," he coached. He looked out at the sunset, admitting to himself that it was as stunning view. He decided he would take them higher to get a better look. But not just yet...

Zsinor looked down to her little pool in Paris' hands. She moved her paws randomly, not knowing exactly what she was supposed to be doing. She looked back at him to see if she was doing decent.

"That's good. Move them like you're trying to push the water under and away from you." He looked up at the setting sun and then look at her out of the corner of his eye. "But don't splash too much or the sharks might think your dinner," he teased. He would never have let a shark get anywhere near her, but that wasn't the point.

Zsinor attempted to swim as Paris explained, but each time she pushed down she bumped into his paw. It was becoming frustrating for her, and she just sat down and blew small bubbles under the surface instead.

Paris tried to hide a laugh. "Would you like for me to let go completely?" He was now feeling a bit rushed, knowing that once the sun started to go down, it would only continue faster.

Zsinor blinked and looked at Paris. "No...." She replied as she squirmed around, preparing herself in case he let go anyways.

Paris nodded. "Alright then, I won't." He pulled her closer in to him. He looked up at the sky and sighed. "We have to go," he said almost sorrowfully.

Zsinor looked up at the sky as well. It was darker now, traces of indigo and blue touching the red. It didn't seem too late, so she didn't know why she had to go. She looked up at him with questioning eyes, but asked nothing.

He stared at her for a moment then shut his eyes tightly. "Please don't ask why." He knew she most likely would not verbally ask, but her look ws enough to make him want to tell her everything. He open his eyes and released her slightly to look at her better. "Are you ready to go?"

Zsinor continued to stare at him, and understood that this pained him as well. She blinked slowly before turning to look at the sunset on the clear ocean water once more. As she turned back, she replied, "Yes..."

Paris silently lifted her to his back. He shot out of the water, sending sunset color droplets into the air. He flew straight up a ways to get a view of the scene from above. The reflection made it sparkle magnificently. Paris admitted to himself that sunsets would be one of his favorite things if not for the fear of what came after.
After a few short moments, Paris started for Zsinior's "home".
