Colin smiled as she patted his hat back onto his head.
" No, I rather like towering over all you tiny pixies." He grinned, and just to make her squeak a bit, added a bit of a bounce to each of his steps as he walked.

He was successful, as she started laughing and holding on for dear life to his shoulders with each step.
Suddenly, though, a sign caught her eye...

"There are water gardens around here?" Rosie folded her hands on the top of his head. "Do you wanna go?" She felt comfortable enough to rest her chin on the top of his head. It was so weird, how he made her feel so comfortable...

He shrugged his shoulder, which made her bounce even more, and nodded.
" Sure. It sounds nice." With that, his step carried them both into the tranquil gardens.

(( to le gardens!))

Many students had been in and out with several other town residents, but Shadow had stayed. Her speical drink had been gone a long time ago. Even the bottle left with her was empty. Though she was satisfied for the most part, it was a good idea to have just a little more and bring some back with her. There was absolutely no feeding on school grounds. Considering she had already done something extremely terrible, poor Marie, it would be best if she could abide by the rest. The waitress wasn't in sight, so the vampire stood to proceed to the bar and get more herself.

Unfortunately, this wasn't exactly the most graceful vampire. She was actually rather...clumsy was the best word. Surely her appearance was appealing and there was a grace to all her movements, even falling, but most vampires managed to stay on their feet. Shadow managed to trip over her feet and proceeded to do so now.

Angels were known for their swift reactions, among other things, and Gabriel was no exception. Before the vampress had fallen more than three inches, Gabe lept up and shot out an arm around her middle so she wouldn't hit the ground.
" Be careful, hmm? Make sure you don't hurt yourself." He smiled-for lack of a better word- angelically as she looked up at him, bewildered.

If the woman could have blushed as deeply as a human, her entire face would have been red. "Ah, thankyou kind sir." It was strange to be held by an angel...Right, time to try standing up. Managing this with some grace, she inclined her head and curtsied. Perhaps it was out of date in this Realm, but it was what she knew to do. "If you don't mind me asking, what is your name?" Curiosity burned in her sparkling eyes, compelling him to answer just as his smiled had compelled her to ask.

Gabe smiled at her gesture, and preformed a quick sweeping bow, mindless of the looks this drew.
" Gabriel Amaranth, at your service, my lady. And your name?" He asked, tilting a dark brow at her pale pretty face. His own eyes, dark blue and speckled with silver, sparkled with mirth at the situation.

"Aria Lina Virillian. How wonderful to meet you Gabe." And how strange. Only in this Realm. Mostly angels and vampires weren't exactly the friendliest towards each other. It had to do with both sides. Angels, naturally, didn't care for the diet of a vampire or their dark natures. In return, vampires were scornful of the way angels took care of humans. The nobles were snooty to top it off most of the time. Not a good combination on the whole.

Shadow's own thoughts hadn't gone much past what to do next. Would he join her for a drink? No, that didn't exactly sound right and surely would sound worse out loud. "Join me? I was just heading to sit at the bar." Yes, that was better. Besides, a few drinks and she'd be gone.

The Teenage Screwup

The dark-haired angel walked calmly into the Inn, but tensed once he noticed all the people that seemed to preoccupy it. He was about to walk back out the door when his stomach growled loudly. It's....been a while.....might as well stay. He thought nervously while walking over to a small secluded table. When the waitress bounded over, he gave her his order and once she left, he got comfortable in his seat and spent the time waiting for his order by staring out the window.

Earlier the waitress had given him his food while he paid her in advance. He finished what was left of it and quietly got up to leave the Inn. He hadn't been to the gardens since his elf friend has showed him around and he wanted to see the pond, that, plus the fact that the trees always seemed to calm him down more then any of the others on campus. He waved at the waitress that had been serving him since he first came her, Alexa, and left the Inn.

The couple walked happily down the street, laughing and smiling even as they entered the inn. Pyralis asked politely for a private table and a pleasant waiter showed them to their table. It was secluded from sight and further from other tables for privacy. Just what they needed.

Giving them menus, the waiter left to get them glasses of water. Pyralis already knew what he wanted and simply set the menu aside.

"So, the privacy is needed why?" Anna didn't mind being set aside from all the other diners, but it seemed rather... different.
She, too, already knew what she wanted and so set her menu down.

"I know this isn't a pleasant subject, but we need to talk over what I found." His face held a serious expression, but it lightened as the waiter came back.

"Your dinner orders?" He looked to Anna first and took her order. Then taking Pyralis's order, he was gone again.

"It's more serious than we thought."
PostPosted: Sun Nov 23, 2008 6:18 pm

"I was afraid of that. It can never be a mischievous spirit wreaking havoc, now, can it?"
Anna was deeply put off by his tone, though. If Pyralis thought the situation was bad, then surely it must be borderline catastrophic.

"No, it can not." Pyralis took a deep breath. "I ran into others like it in an unnamed realm. These realms, as I'm sure you already know, aren't stable. Some are still expanding. You arrive in them as you do all other realms, through gateways in Atlanthum. We have gatekeepers stationed on either side of the gate to this realm. That's why everyone is puzzled and confused. How could something have slipped past them?" His voiced lowered. "New gateways may be connecting to others."
