Phantom Phan, yes his sunburn and the word "Hawt" both make me want to slap somebody. But Gerik kind of seemed a bit whiny and really childish in the ALW movie, so I have to say, in my opinion, he sucked as Erik. Grandpa Ducky Don't you just hate when it's somewhere around eleven on a school night and you're listening to Phantom and you tell yourself 'One more song...' somewhere around 'Stranger than you Dremt It.' Then you start listening and all of the sudden the line "It's over now, the Music of the Night!" plays. You look at the clock and it's like two! Gah! That's happened to many times! (Please take note that the two o'clock might be a little off as it's just an estimation and I'm yet to time Phantom.) Yes. Been there, done that. Except, in my case, it's with Phantom of the Paradise. I'll be looking at, and taking pictures of Winslow, and then it's suddenly 3:00 A.M., and I'm like, "Noo! Must...get...to...bed. So. Tired." Eheh. 2:30-3:00 A.M. is actually the time I usually go to bed, but half the time I don't realize it's so late.

As for people who think Raoul is better than Erik you are completely wrong Raoul is an idiot fop boy who if I ever met wouldve died at my hands for ruining Erik I wouldve killed him so quick it wouldnt have been funny...well maybe for Raoul haters but thats okay
If you could've killed him. Big IF there. Remember, you're dealing with a 21-year old Navy sailor. Probably a pretty pissed-off one, too. I mean, how would you like it if all these idiots just showed up and started harassing you because a) you are not hideous or insane, and b) you got the girl in the end? Wow, dosen't that sound terrible. But I digress. The only concievable way you might win is if he refused to hit you, what with you being a lady (I'm assuming) and all. That was my rant for the day. I have no self control when it comes to Raoul bashing.
The more phans insult Raoul, the more I inexplicably begin to hate Erik. Don't make me hate Erik. I don't want to hate Erik. Think of my obsession. Don't Raoul-bash.
Also, you shouldn't do it because Raoul de Chagny is a hip, jazzy, super-cool, neat, keen and groovy young dude who can totally pwn you if you try to punjab him for something as stupid as not being as angsty as Erik.
I hate the fact that phans can't get along. crying It's either rabid Raoul bashers or vicious canon nazis or arguing over whether Butler can sing. (Which he can, just not well, I say.) Can't we all just get along?
...naaah. Where'd be the fun in that? *flings pudding at Gerik*

Phantom Phan 4ever Ok, I'm gonna list afew things I hate and you answer which one you hate on the poll. 1. 'Fans' (not true Phans) who see the 2004 movie and say: "He's so hot, only if he keeps the mask on" 2. 'Fans' that spell his name with a 'c' (Eric) 3. People that say he can't sing. 4. People that are repulsed by his 'deformity' (Which is really a sunburn) 5. People that ask: "Is there a book?" 6. Raoul is so much better than Erik (Mindless Soul) Sorry, thats all I got...for now. Please vote. And keep this board alive!!!! I can NOT add any to the poll after 5 so just say if you choose after #5 say so in your post...but vote for your econd choice in the poll. I really hate it when 'Fans' say that every one of the actors isn't really singing, it's just a voice over of another singer.
