Sephiroth-Kun red_moon_wolfess She turned to face Seph, he had just made her jump onto flames three times and after that he had no meds here?!?! She could have shot him. " Im fine! Just give me a minute!" she said as she tested her feet. It was a rather odd sensation as she could actually feel the ground now. Something she hadn't felt since nearly childhood, the fire must have burned off her calluses. Lucky her that was all it did. He chuckled softly, replacing the hat on his head. "I know you've only just met me, Finn, but do try to put a bit more faith in me in the future, please." He pulled at the Brim of his hat. "You felt the burn just as anyone else would, Finn. Though the human brain does not allow any recolection of what pain actually -feels- like, I have no doubt that this lesson will not go unremembered. You have, though it may sound cliche, survived the first test. Now, it gets difficult." He handed her her shoes. "Remember what it feels like to be burned, because in time, you will no longer have that luxery--Yes, Luxery. On more than one occasion, I have burned-" He cut himself off, "..People...on accident, just through touch. Your body will become accustomed to this level of heat, and you will be able to shrug it off. The process is much less brutal than letting the soles of your feet calous over, but I admit, it does take a much longer period of time." He seemed reluctant to reveal just who had been burned, and how many times. Again, his features began to sink, but he inhaled deeply, then righted himself. "Well.. I believe that concludes our first lesson, Findabhair. I'll escort you out of the Dojo. Coming, Mouko?" *He nods, quite tired out from training earlier in the day...* Yeah...See you guys up there... *He unocks the passageway and walks up into the main dojo.....*

the first thaught that came to her head after the spech "oh boy..." she did'nt even want to put her shoes back on the feal of the ground was too missed even for her still slightly burning feet. so she jsut picked them up and walked out of the Dojo behind Seph she got the fealing that she was going to realy hate this guy, even if he was crazy. the fact that he used her full name didn't help the matter, to her it sounded far to formal but she jsut let it slide, after all he was her sensi.

(( night all!!!)) He nodded at her as she made her way to her room, then looked around. His smiling face slowly faded. It had all been an act. He had jumped into Sensei mode upon entering the Ho Dojo, and now he was himself again. He looked to the doors, his left hand holding his right shoulder. Well, just below his right shoulder. He hadn't heard from the Protector. Not for some time. Nor the Kyuugi that infested his body. They held a quiet, tender truce, but Seph had a lingering feeling that it couldn't last much longer. He longed to see Hwen again. He worried day and night. Many times he had rolled over in bed and awoke, startled, to realize Hwen wasn't there. He made his way back to his bedroom, and opened the door, undressing, and lying down on the Tatami Mat. He rolled over onto his stomach and slowly drifted off to sleep.. ((G'night! ))

Finn came in thrugh the bookshelf entrance with her bag of herbs and looked the many rows of hot choals over, now that her calluses had been burned off she could use the beds of choal for practace. she set her bag down neer by the bed of choals that she was going to use. so that they where in quick reach. she then took off her shoes and servayed the burining choals. wondering how long she might be able to stand it.

*Mouko, having finished his spar wit the duckling, and of course won, followed Finn into the Dojo through the book shelf, which closed immediatly behind him. Throwing his shoes aside, he stepped ono the coals, and once again pulled out the razor thin red blade, which, once stuck in the coals, shone with brilliance once more.....*

Finn watched as Mouko came in and walked on te choals as if it where no big deal, and stared at him with envy and spite, after his desplay she stepped onto the choals, with a wince and then walked around a little rather quickly so that she could shift the heat, trying to stand it for as long as she could, which was only a few seconds before she stepped off and patted her feet. muttering to herself
"why cant i do it?"

You still must learn that you must show the fire respect. If you can prove to it that you respect it, by standing still in one spot, it will in turn respect you, and not burn you. If you continually doubt the fire's honor, it will doubt yours, thus providing the burns. You must set it in your mind that you must treat the fire respectfully, and apply that mindset to your actions. * He nods, and points to the coals again* You must believe, to acheive..... ((believe to acheive.......since when do I use cheesy school mottos? o.o))

Finn coated her feet with a light dressing of herbs from her bag before choseing a spot on the choals.
"Fine..." she said with determanation.
she then stepped onto the choals and winced once more and stood there for a few seconds. of corce it continued to burn and she grabbed her arm and began digging her nails into her arm so that she might distract herself from the pain.
then all of the sudden...the burning stopped. she looked down and she was defanately stepping on the choals, perplexed she lifted up her foot to see if the fire had finaly burned off her nerves. it hadn't, she had done it, then looked over to Mouko with a smile.
"HA!" she siad to the choals
" i can do this!" then she smiled and danced around on the burning choals with a huge smile.
(( since jsut now aparently lol!))

You cannot show real fire any fear, but determination. Think of fire as a strong willed beast, ready to consme you at any possible moment, especially when it spots weakness..... *He motioned her towads the fire, ready to jump in with her herbs at any moment.....* Oh, and any fear includes self induced pain. *he nods at her arm, which had clearly been dug into.....*

Finn stopped danceing. she was now faced with the same chalange of fire as a few nights ago, so she stepped off her new friends the bed of choals, then herd the self induced pain remark and scowled. then she looked at the fire, trying to decide where the coolest spot might be, even a few degreese might help.
then she stepped into the fire with another wince, and hopped up and down for a moment untill she couldn't stand it any more and jumped off. patting her singed feet.

He leaned forward a bit, then hung upside down from the rafters in the Ho Dojo, looking to Finn. He smiled slightly. He grabbed the wood he was hanging from, then turned himself over, landing on the ground on his feet. He looked to Mouko. It was clear that he wasn't exactly fond of others teaching his students, but realized his absence gave Mouko enough of a prerequisite to do so. There was a limp in his left leg, but after the initial step, it went unnoticed. "Very good, Finn."

Finn looked down at her burned feet then back at Seph. "yeah right" she thaught to herself a little dissaponted in herself
"thanks" she said then looking up with a smile covering up her own dissapointment.

From above Tuts' favorte rafter in the Ho dojo, a small flame appeared slowly increasing in size which then took the form of a circle. If one was able to, they would see another world one where things were now topsy turny and everyone was looking for one person. As if to highten the senseation of curiousity and fear, a low growl could be heard, followed by the sound of bones cracking and finally a scream. Two blurs jumped back from the portal, bounding around the dojo.
