It didn't matter that he couldn't understand Seung - he could hear her, and that was the main thing. He heard others yelling as well, whatever they were yelling about. He wanted to see, wanted to help, but he had to find Seung first and get her and the ratling back to base. Then he could get them out with the other two kids, and then he'd have time to look for others. He had to remember take this one thing at a time, no matter how much the shouts worried him.
"I'm coming!" Mik yelled as the fog began to thin. He trotted around walls, following the sound of his friend's voice, which didn't sound very far away. His gun bumped against him with every step, the stupid thing - he was so taking this vest off and ditching it the first chance he got.

This time, the blonde fa'e did not spare the time to think. He just ran, ran as fast as his legs would let him and he tried to do his best to block out the voice from his mind. It did not know anything, it couldn't have known ANYTHING !
...Or could it ?
He finally stopped, rather sharply, when he ran straight into a wall and knocked himself straight on his butt. He scrambled back on his legs in panic, but it seemed the thing was not following him, so he took a moment, and, after struggling, managed to calm himself down enough to finally lock down the wave of panic that had overtook him. There. Now he could think.
The screams wouldn't stop, which definitively kept him on edge. He couldn't make out most of them, but he had clearly heard his name. A friend, or some other twisted thing calling for him ?
...It was worth the risk. He darted in the direction in which he had heard Aylana's voice come from, eyes narrow as if it could help him see better.

The moment Aylana heard the voices, she felt herself freeze. It wasn't possible, it wasn't real. Swallowing, she turns her head to look over her shoulder. Paling, she shook her head as she turns to face it "You have got to be ******** kidding me. No No No No No! This isn't real. Your not real, you can't be real." taking a few steps back, she felt the fear coming back.
How the hell was this thing still around. Trembling, she steps back again "I'm not coming near you at all. Stay the ******** away from me." she couldn't believe this was happening again, and her kids were here.
Turning back towards wall of faces she narrows her eyes. Her hand reaching behind her back. "What do you want with us? What have you done with my kids. What have you done with my friends, and my nephew?"

Seung couldn't hear Mik's reply amid all the rest of the screaming. If she headed in the direction she first heard him, they'd be bound to run into each other. Right? Her trigger-happy fingers didn't stop as she crept, then ran through the arena. Not that the lasers were going to do much good to walls or yelling, but logic didn't exactly mix with terror.
Glancing behind herself at another possible sound, she caught the hem of her gown with her flippers, pitching her face first. "Auuuugh," she whimpered, pushing herself up only to hear footsteps coming around the corner. Heavy footsteps, coming very fast towards her. M-maybe I can scare it off. Maybe it won't know it's a toy, she thought as she pushed herself up against the wall, gun held tight in both hands.
"Anio!" she yelled and jumped out into the hall, shooting before she had the chance to see what she was shooting at. Which turned out to be a glowing blue number 9 hovering at about her head height. "M-m-m-Mik?"
