"Good point... Oh well. Should we grace the world with our presense and go find someone else or food?" Aki asked with a faint smirk. She was still sarcastic and cocky, but less so than usual. She was starting to like him, and relaxing around him.

"I think we should. I'm starved."
If his voice wasn't convincing, the grumble that came next would. Lois's face turned a light shade of pink as he put both arms around his waist, smiling sheepishly. Without waiting, he walked ahead of her before stopping a few feet away and tapping his foot impatiently, although playful.

Aki smiled, rolling her eyes at his mock impatience before going after him. "Ugh. We have to deal with people..." she sighed, seeing the crowd from where they were. "I'm curious, why don't you like them? I don't think you ever said..." she asked, looking to him as she fell into step beside him.

"It's because if I get upset or someone decides to scare the crap out of me, my eyes will go all changey on me," stated Lois, grabbing a sandwich.
After much thinking, he finally just grabbed a bottle of water. He found an empty table and plopped down into one of the seats, waiting for Aki to join him. The boy took a long drink of his water, downing like half of it.

"That would make sense..." Aki murmured. She grabbed an apple and two bottles of water, emptying one by the time she reached the table. It was too warm for comfort, for her, but she'd tolerate it. She wouldn't make him deal with her strangeness and stay outside.

Aya walked slowly behind him, though she thought the quickest way would be in a different direction. But what did she know? She had just gotten here. She smiled at his partial clulessness. He must be a really happy person, she guessed. It was nice to be near someone with such high energy. She raised one arm and scratched her head. "Well, I'm from two different places. My father is Japanese, from Yokohama just south of Tokyo, while my mother is naturally from Louisiana, where I was born. But I usually only go there during the summer." she answered. Looking up from the grass she saw another boy coming towards Smokey, completely absorbed in something resting on his palm. She opened her mouth to warn him, but he had already bumped into the other boy. Fortunately, he regained his balance. Being introduced, Aya smiled and bowed her head respectfully. Before she could raise it back up, she was pushed. She tensed only for a moment, realizing it was just Lite, then began walking in the direction of the force. She smiled at Sam. She suddenly remembered a game she'd often played with Mikayla. She slowly walked up to Sam, making sure to look as calm as ever. "Really?" she asked before bolting in the direction she hoped was the cafeteria. She looked over her shoulder. "You guys'll have to move faster than that!" she mocked. "At this rate, I'll get there five minutes before you!" She laughed, then turned her face forward and continued running.

Erin smiled good naturedly, shaking her head. "No... not really. Doesn't sound desperate, necessarily, so much as very, very stubborn, which isn't necessarily a bad thing. Ironic, though, that you would remember that I told you to forget, and then forget everything else."
Before Arkell could possibly raise any questions, Erin held up a finger. "Yeah. I am Aaron Leerup, as it is spelled in your diary. I am also Erin Leerup, spelled E-R-I-N, which is the name that this room is under, not to mention my class schedule. If you don't believe me, think about it; when you looked up my name, or asked around, did they tell you about more than one Leerup? There is only one. Me." She reached into her back pocket to pull out her wallet, retreiving her two IDs and holding them out, one in each hand. "See? One reads 'Aaron' and one reads 'Erin.' Both have the same ID number, room number... the whole kit n' kiboodle. This is a single room."
She waited for all of this to sink in for a moment, since she had provided all the explanation she could without causing poor Arkell's brain to explode, if it wasn't going to already. Also, she didn't quite know why she was even bothering; while Arkell was guaranteed to remember this entire conversation verbatum, her memory of Aaron would still be erased; even the perfect recall of Erin could not reverse the perfect erasure of Aaron. Arkell would remember everything... except who else Erin was, which would probably be somewhat infuriating. Oh well.

Alwyn stood on the main floor of the Multis dorm tryinhg her best not to panic and perform a disappearing act. Her bags were at her side as she stared at everything around here. This would be her first year here and she didn't quite know how she felt about that. She could feel her breathing coming in in hurried gasps. She wouldn't resort to her power to handle this, uncounsiously though her body was begining to fade away in sections as she slowly went invisable against her will or rather against her consious will. she new she was in dorm # 1 but she was too afraid to move. "I don't know if i can do this..." She said somewhat to herself afraid that her past would follow her into this new world she was just now experiencing.

"You know. We can go sit outside if you want," offered Lois.
He finished off his water and tossed it into the nearest garbage bin. He raised on eyebrow at Aki curiously as he took a small bite of his sandwich. He was flexible and didn't care where they sat, as long as they actually sat somewhere.

The two fellow students raced ahead of Lite, and he was in no hurry to catch up. Rather, Lite kept walking at a relatively slow pace; he took his time to enjoy each passing, breathing moment. I'm glad she's getting along with people now, she looked so lonely before hand. He followed the two of them, making sure they didn't fall out of sight. He looked down a moment, as his left flip flop had fallen off. Readjusting it, Lite found himself looking at another gecko. Without hesitation, he picked it up and put it on his shoulder. I'll name you Bear! I'll be Smokey, and you can be Bear! Awesome! he silently decreed this to himself, man I have some aching munchies! Though he was in no rush, his stomach got the better of him as he had begun to levitate himself from the ground, flying ahead of the two pacing in front of him.
Seeing the cafeteria, he didn't get lost from his view up about ten feet above everyone. Lite hoped that everything would be okay. By everything, he meant his stomach alongside his desire to surf and cloud gaze. Smoking the cigarette to the butt, he found nowhere to extinguish it, so he swooped down and put it in a disposal container. He found his way to the cafeteria door, and settled his stomach enough to wait for the other two. "Come on guys," he cheered, "we've got some important things to do!" He subconsciously meant the orientation, but directly meant eating. He took Bear from his shoulder and held him in an open palm. "We're going to be best friends, right Bear? Right!"

Marie did not notice the entrance of the girl and continued playing the piano and humming softly along. She swayed slowly on the bench playing long twirls of chords with fluttering softly melody and a deep bass harmony, following the hums in her head and playing it all by ear and feeling the instinct that processed every note. Marie slowed to a finish and took a deep breath, letting her eyes open softly and scan the beauty of the auditorium. Her cheeks redden at the sight of different, dark brown against the red of the seats. Even if it was only her eyes, Marie arose and put the cover back on the piano and began pushing back off into the stage left wing. She walked down stage and retrieved her sandals, climbing off the lip and up the aisle.

Arkell listened to her, and her head seemed perpetually off to the side in confusion as to what she was saying. She listened, not bothering to try and interrupt her explanation. When she was finished, she had finally stopped scratching her arm and had her full attention on her. "So wait...if your Erin..and Aaron....How are you a boy and a girl? Is that your mutation?" She righted her head and cracked her neck.
But....that was only half of what is going on now wasn't it. There was a part that she hadn't revealed to her yet and she was dieing to know what it was. "Why would remembering 'forget about me' be ironic...besides...the obvious."

"It's fine, please..." Aki said, blushing faintly as she stopped objecting halfway through. "This is gonna be a pain..." she murmured, getting up and going outside. "Any preference on where? Though preferably where we won't be trampled..." she asked, looking to him. She saw a handful of people running towards the cafeteria, and coincidentially where she and Lois happened to be standing.

Aya finally reached the doors of the cafeteria, putting a hand on the door for some support and panting. She looked up and smiled at Sam. She had lost, but that was the most fun she'd had in a long time. She stood up, still panting and went to the head of the line, grabbing a bottle of water and an apple. She walked back over and looked at the gecko curiously. Her eyes widened slightly, recognizing the gecko from before. She smiled happily at it. "He'll sure be a fighter." she said softly, remembering how it recovered.

"I have no--oh crap," said Lois, changing words in mid-sentence as he saw a few people running towards them.
He grabbed Aki's arm and pulled her after him as he stepped quickly to the left and out of trampling zone. He smiled, watching the students carefully. The last thing he needed was to be tripped over again.
