Ears flicking at the sound of his own name, Ovid looked up to grin at Aurora, raising his paw once more. Raising his voice above that of his usual soft tone, the panda tala responded the loud greeting.
"Afternoon, Rory!"

In general, Mikasi was a very friendly, eager, enthusiastic pup. But everyone here knew each other.
Except him. Mikasi felt uncomfortable and awkward, and his ears drooped over into his round, blue eyes. Normally he would've bound right up to Serenity and tackled her to play; but she knew these other, bigger Talaye, and he didn't.. Mikasi feels his insides squirm as Serenity bounds over to him. >Sur--< Mikasi began to respond, but stopped as Serenity seemed to loose interest in him; and bound straight to the older Tala; another one of this group that he didn't know. Whimpering softly to himself, Mikasi curled into a small ball and tried to conceal himself in the tall green grass.. Although black on green was not a very convincing disguise.

Serenity introduced herself to Aurora, stumbling over her own name. She was happy to meet other Talaye, but frowned as Mikasi didn't follow along, and gave a little nod to the others that she'd be back, and padded slowly over to the pup. She tended to lose interest quickly in things, but she had inherited her Mama's nature of not wanting anyone to be left out.

"Werah yuki op!" {Come over here and play!}

Kenchan walked onto the field, Meriko happily trotting circles around him and nipping at his heels.
Meriko suddenly stopped in her jovial dance and turned, seeing a lone Tala pup curled in the grass a short distance away. She slowly trotted over and gave the lone Tala a soft nuzzle, gazing with questioning eyes.

Meriko grins widely, tongue lolling out and trots after the other Tala, joining the group who appeared to be preparing to play some sort of game.

Locke: *runs over from across the meadow towards the pups, a spot of red clinging to his shoulders & an empty Kun-bottle dangling from his neck*
*jogs behind, carrying a three month old baby boy*
Locke! How many times do I have to tell you that I can't keep up with you now that I've got Theron to carry too?
Shippou: At least once more. *snickers*
*scowls at the little fox*
As his familiar, I blame you.
Shippou: @_@ Who? Me?
Locke: I'm sorry, Trel. But look! So many are out of their baskets! & there are new baskets now too!
*smiles* ooo! You're right. So many! *snuggles her squirming baby* I can't believe how fast they grow. *stands Theron up on the grass & smiles at him* I'm glad you won't grow up so quickly, my little man.

Remus poked the torn paper sulkily. The yellow pup had joined the others from yesterday, and seemed to be playing with Rory and Ovid. "Rory? OVID?" Those were his friends! That group of little troublemakers seemed to be intent on taking everything away from him... his parents, his friends... they'd probably even take the paper if they knew about it. "Well, they can have it." Creasing the paper along its middle, he folded a clumsy paper airplane and blew it towards the group. "I wonder what that'll do. But anything's better than just sitting around."

Padding into the Meadow, Pipp takes one look around, then places herself under an overly-shaded tree. It looked to her as if the place was packed... Which, she supposed, was good.
