OOC:: No, I'm here, just sort of forgot to reply for like... ever. DX Sorry. OwO I forgot to check in too; I really did think I replied to your last post though. Sorry!
Chrys howled a little along with the melody to the words, the little melody behind the tune of the words. It wasn't loud, but rather a soft sound. A wolf's howl usually was booming, but he managed to keep his volume down for the good doctors sakes.
Yet, he still listened to what Lazereth had to say; his eyes glimmering with tears of a yawn. He stopped soon after the refrain to talk.
"Wow, guess you have your work cut out for you... Sorry. This whole time, I've thought you were just sort of being a snob... y'know, wanting to get home ASAP. I didn't really stop to think you might have other reasons," he yawned and sprinkled a few bits of glitter onto his own card for Jade. That stupid mouse, getting himself in trouble like this.

The female looked away to focus on the hybrid, her eyes soft<< She'd been kidnapped. We found her a few days later walking alongside the road, covered in dried blood and dirt. Her left arm was broken, and her eyes were glazed over. It was so bad...she blocked all memories of it. Today she doesn't even recall when we found her.

He let his ears flatten to the back of his head in detestment; he let his spine tingle at the story, his fists clenching a little. Who in thier right mind would do that to a girl? The thought made a low growl start to form in his chest; that was low, that was even too low for Chrys. The wolf was well aware he belonged in the category of 'creep', because he was a lecher - but nothing made him more disgusted than people who cornered the weak and ripped them apart... That's one reason why he hated being in a pack of wolves; that's how they operated - search and destroy.
With people like that in the world, Laz had a lot to worry about. He stood up and gave her an apologetic glance before putting a hand on her shoulder; almost like he'd committed the crime, instead of the perp. "Do you wanna go home tonight instead?" he asked, his voice quiet.

Kisten should leave with them then, for protection. That leaves you alone here. So I'll stay through the night at least to watch over you. You can't be left in this condition.
