Zariel the suffering(zee)

PostPosted: Sun Jan 16, 2005 6:32 pm

Zee was lifted off of the ground, but he had a trick of his own. He brought down his razor and cut deeply into his own leg, as his opponent touched him Zee sent the energy of the pain he had gained into Vince after having amplified it ten fold.(In other words when you touch him, it'll feel like your arm was slashed open ten times or so.)

Although being hurt from an opponent's wound had surprised him, it had not stopped him from succeeding in both of his attacks. First the man flew through the air, then he would fall hard as gravity's effect upon him strengthened. To make the fight easier, Vincent removed his heavy black coat, setting it aside before focusing upon his opponent once again...

Slammed into the ground, boy did that feel great! Zee smiled and sighed in a sick sort of pleasure as his nose cracked. He tried to stand but it was harder than usual, he needed to do somthing about that. He had his back turned to his enemy, maybe he should wait.

Now seperated from his coat, two things were revealed once hidden in Vincent's sleeves. A strange armlet that looked like chains melted together was around his right wrist while a short sword, once attached to his left wrist, was now in his left hand. Slowly, he walked toward his opponent with a grim expression upon his face and the blade in his left hand slowly turning black...

Five feet away, four, three, two. There it was! Zee's back seemingly exploded in a spray of blood and flesh as his blade like wings exploded forth, each of them were five feet long, and the suprise element was surely there, after the atempt to rend his opponent was succesfull or not, his wings would serve their purpose.

((Edited. You told me to hurry, it seems I forgot to say something in the process of doing so. sweatdrop ))

Instinctively, Vincent tried to jump backward, manipulating his inertia to fight the heavy gravity, though still only able to slide back a few feet while his own abilities held him down. Although a little dirtier than before, Vincent remained unharmed; however, his opponent wasn't likely to share that experience. He took a step back and threw the sword forward, manipulating its inertia to fight the heavy gravity and find its way through his opponent's spine...

*At first, it was all darkness. The tree was alone in the bleak infinity of this part of space. Then, what seemed like a small pool of water expanded. The darkness of this pool was even deeper than that of this place; nothing could be more black than the abyss. THe pool seemed to draw any and all light towrads it, almost sucking in the surrounding. The pool rippled as a large creature stepped through, as black as the pool it came from and four times as large.

Glwoing red eyes were all that indicated his face, which showed no signs of a mouth or nose. It was completely flat and bleak, not allowing any emotion to show at all, not even for a moment. This creature had no emotions. It's hair seemed like black spikes, drooping to it's waist and swerving with him. Though the noticably large seperate strands seemed flimsy, not many people knew then could turn as sharp as a needle in an instant, and could penetrate even the toughest of skin. The creature's hands were large, and it's fingers were excessively long, adorned with foot-long razor talons. It's feet had shorter talons, suitable for climbing. A large tail extended from behind it, and looked the same as the creature's hair. It was 4 feet long, dragging across the floor behind it.

Wearing no clothing and having no visible sex, the creature was still extremely muscle-bound. With visibly tight abdominal muscles and arms and thighs as big as tree trunks, it looks like it could crush all the bones in any humans body with extreme ease. It slouched as it moved forward, observing it's surroundings confusedly. This creature did not know how it had got here, and didn't even know where "here" was. All it cared about was finding something to quench it's thirst for bloodshed.*

Cerebus Dark

PostPosted: Thu Jan 27, 2005 9:20 pm

::Once again as many many times before. Cerebus Dark exited the arena's steak house with a fresh and bloody pieces of steak in his jaws. The rich red blood leaked down the side of his fanged mouth, and his blank white eyes gazed forward at the merchants ring. With each step his steel greaves clanked, they were a sort of heavy shin guard, they added force to his kick, instead if striking bone, the opponent struck steel. And with each step his shackles jangled, they were the physical representation of the fact he was still bound to that damned book. Or at least his soul was. And lastly as the sun shown down, a black devils Eg Gibson guitar, glimmered across its shiny paint job, and made a sort of hallow clack against his back. And then he blinked. That apparently was a mistake.

The moment he opened his eyes he was beside a very very large tree with some sort of massive beast no more that 30ft ahead of him. Cerebus was never one to show he feeled, the very god which created the wolfen race could approach him and he wouldnt show even a bit of care. But this creatures form, was just...unpleasant. And its smell....it was just offensive to the nose, and it made eating his steak difficult. He let out an almost disgusted...::

Hmph.

And then rested his back against the large tree. His long black hair blew over his face in the wind slighly covering his blank eyes. They were the most unusual eyes, they were infact endless white. No pupil, no viens, just pure white. They say the eyes are the window to the soul, and Cerebus had no soul in this form. He was content to ignore the "Beast" across from him unless it dared step out of its place.::

*And his prey was there. Gouken's blood red eyes could see easily in the dark. How else was he to navigate the Abyss? Infravision was another of the Purgatorial Demon's natural abilities. He took in the seemingly human lifeform in one glance, and there was no though in his actions. All he wanted was the shedding of blood, and he would do anything to see it. He wanted it.... he needed it.

With that, Gouken began descending upon the other entity hastily than before, still slouching. His heavyness made loud thuds on the ground, making the platform they were on shake violently. Gouken extended a long arm and a stream of jet black lightning emonated from his fingertips. This lightning would not shock it's victim if it reached him, but rather burn him severely with just a touch. It was Purgatory's own unique brand of hellfire.

His other arm, he kept to one side, primed to block any attack that the unknown may respond with. He would not underestimate an opponent he had never faced, even in the height of his bloodlust. It was a bit of his warrior spirit that was meshed with the mind of a demon.*

Cerebus Dark

::Even as the beast charged at him like a fierce Rhino Cerebus was more concerned with his steak. He took steady bites and chewed. He could see in the dark as well, just like the one who formed his shell, his eyes could take in both the light, and the dark to see. He continued to bite, until the strange sound of crackling filled the air.

His wolfen sense were very keen, he never budged, he felt it growing closer, and closer, he heard it threatening to reach him. Threatening to harm him, and when the lightening was a good arms length away he flicked the remainder of his steak at it. This was guess work really, but the steak was wet and the attack that approached him sounded electrical. The electricity, one would think, would be focused into the wet meat, and would perform its roasty attack on it.

And then as the meat fell Cerebus would reach his hand out, snatch it from mid air, and continue eating. Despite the fact that there were mere seconds before the beast was literally upon, he seemed to be totally ignorant. Simply caught up in leaning on the tree and eating his steak. Oh and letting out another...::

Hmph.

*Gouken could only observe as most of his fire-based attack was absorbed by the piece of food the lifeform had tossed in front of itself. The demon was intrigued; this was a tactic that he had not noticed before. He could also pick up no sense of fear or worry from the other creature, only a slight unesiness. This was very intriguing indeed, for it had been a while since he had faced an opponent that wasn't afraid of him in the slightest. There was also cockyness there, which Gouken could take advantage of. HE was not to be underestimated.

As he drew even nearer to the creature, two stands of his inch thick, pointed "hair" lifted on their own accord. It was odd to see, since the rest of it still dangled behind him and swayed with his movements. The two lone strands seemed rigid, not moving with him at all. Quick as a flash, the two strands extended, stretching much further then it seemed possible. Sharp as needles they flew straight towards his opponent's wrists, where his opponent's tendons would be if he had a human anatomy. His arms remained at his sides still, awaiting a responce to his provocation.*

Cerebus Dark

::Hmm, that last attack was more than he had expected. His dear steak was fired and as he lunged forward to catch the ashy bone the remainder of the burning electricity struck him. The burning bolt cinged away several of the hairs covering his, and bit at his cheek as he tried to pull away.

But he still didnt seem to care. The singe on his cheek was hardly enough to break his relaxed state. He rested his back against the tree and looked the beast dead in the eye while shaking his head in disappointment.

He watched the strange occurance, two spikes of hair emerging from its back. Hmm, this reminded him of an animal he used to play with as a pup. It was one of his early challenges from his father, how to catch a porcupine with getting scratched. Then, without fail, the two shanks of hair came directly for him. Now, had no intentions of waiting to find out exactly where they were aimed, but, he could tell they were going for something around his midsection, and his arms at the time were hanging by his sides.

He waited and he watched, and then, he jumped. He hoped straight up just a few feet allowing the two spines to strike where he was, and more specifically to strike the tree. And knowing the basic science of wood and a nail, hopefully they would get lodged in the tree. Which would be perfect, because as gravity began to pull him down from his jump, he planned to land directly on top of the two spikes as they rest in the tree. And then he would give a little yawn. Sort of goading the creature to try and use its "other" assests. Such as its huge muscles, or its head.::

*Gouken had been expecting some sort of dodge of course, but up was one of the ways that he suspected the least. It was a good thing it was easy to maintain control of his spiked hair, or else this would have been a disasterous attempt. One of his spiked locks smacked into the tree, sticking into it easily, while the other he had time enough to turn upwards, now aiming for the bottom of the creature's foot.

With the other fighter already feeling the pull of gravity, it would be hard for him to pull away. Gouken hoped that if his second attack missed his opponents foot, landing on one thick strand of hair instead of two would throw him off balance and send him teetering to the side on which his foot would find nothing but air to land on. This is why he let the single strand of large hair remain stuck in the tree; if he could off balance his opponent it would be easier to strike.

With this approximation in mind, Gouken once again extended a palm and shot the lighting-esque hellfire at the point at which he expected the other creature to fall. If it made contact, he expected this to be a decent distraction for another attack to occur. If not, the distraction would be the need for his opponent to dodge it.*

Cerebus Dark

PostPosted: Fri Jan 28, 2005 11:49 am

::After 584 years of life, and 583 years spent in an almost constant state of combat, Either hunting, being hunted, getting revenge, warring against the Felis tribes, Cerebus was really quite alert in combat. He intentionally always carried an aire of arrogance to throw off his attackers. Make them believe he wasnt paying attention, or that they were nothing incomparison to him. But, he was watching, he was paying attention, and he knew when jumping onto a portion of an unknown beserker beasts anatomy, its always best to look at said anatomy. And so he did.

His right foot landed first, but his left seemed to have lost its landing point. He leaned forward to counter his loss of balance, and swung his left foot forward as he began to break into a run. His left foot just barely missed the full onslaught of the attack. Instead the creatures spine had taken a small chunk clean out of Cerebus's left heel. It was true that it also launched a burning bolt, but, really with him on the hair yet still, and running, it was more likely to strike the hair than even touch him.

The wolf was not happy. This beast roared and rampaged with rancid breath and yet it wouldnt even use its own claws. What sort of animal was this?! It was time to show how a true animal wages war. The wolves eyes began to spark as he continued to jet forward along the creatures hair. His hand clenched into fists making an audible pop as his knuckles bent, and a thin blackish purple aura came into view around his forearms. It was barely visible, at all in the night sky. But it was present, as was the scowl on the wolfs face. With each step his pushed his body faster and hard, and with each step he stood ready and waiting for the creatures hair to give out and in that moment he would jump. Really, wether or not the hair gave out, after about 4 steps the wolf would jump anyway.

His legs were powerful, like those of wolf, because infact he was a wolf. His powerful legs were able to vault 150lbs up and forward into the air with ease. An olympic long jumper can jump a total of 20 ft on an average day. Cerebus wasnt a human, his legs were stronger, he managed a full 30ft, with a 6ft high arch. And he landed with a skid, no more 7ft behind the demon. His face had a scowl of disgust, and his tight fists flicked open revealing his clawed hands, each one caught in the blackish purple aura, and each begging for a chunk of his flesh. And then shouted forth from his low almost crouched stance.::

Come with it coward!

::His voice as always was deep, and strong, it showed the power that his human features masked. And his face showed the fury that fueled his fire.::
