Hargun sat up with a small groan, rubbing her head as she looked around and- what? It was her duplex? But she had just been stuck in a cave with Ray for what seemed like forever to her. Something.. just wasnt right here.
She slid off her bed lazily, and stretched on the floor before getting up and shuffling around her duplex, looking at everything and seeing if it was all still in place. As far as she could tell, nothing changed from when she last remembered.. however long ago that was.
With a confused daze, she looked in the mirror. Nope.. nothing changed. How odd that seemed. Usually bad dreams marked changes.. but was that a dream?
Suddenly her trail of puzzled thought was interupted by a knock at the door. Her ears perked a bit, and she looked at herself to make sure she was decent.. and dressed, then went to the door, slowly opening it, and curioustly squinting out. "Heh..hello?" she asked, then stared at Timothy with a blank stare. {Who in the world-}

"Ummm hi, it's me... Timothy. We met on the ummm... helicopter." Timothy sort of looked a bit away. This felt so akward, he was actually more curious if she'd disappeared than talking to her if she was there.
Timothy rubbed his neck and smiled. "It's just... been a long time. I wanted to make sure you were okay and everything."

Hargun blinked and looked rather supprised.
"Really? Thats you? Holy cow!" she said and stepped out of her duplex, covering her eyes with her hands to get rid of some of the light. She felt odd being back at her own duplex, and especially with someone she hadnt seen in ages. Luckily the whole humans turning into animals thing was no longer that big of a deal to her brain.
"Wow.. its.. its been a while hasnt it? And I see youve changed quite a bit there." she said casually. Since he didnt really seemed shocked or talking on about being locked out of his duplex, her idea of her dream actually being a dream was starting to feel strong, and her mind eased.

"Yeah..." Timothy really didn't know what to talk about. He didn't like bringing up bad subjects and all.
"Can I... come in? Maybe we can talk and stuff." Timothy noticed her hands, she'd been the pencil artist too. Poor girl, atleast he could still play his guitar.
"I promise I don't musk." he grinned and said. If Hargun let him he'd start going inside her duplex.

Hargun chuckled slightly. "Ah, dont worry. Its already kinda funky in here. Just cause the coziness. Go ahead, come on in." she said, and turned in to head inside.
"Im sorry its a real pigsty in here. I dont bother to clean up though, but it irks me everytime a guest comes over that I dont have a lovely place for them to walk around in." she said, and kicked up a few clothes, and a few articles of trash outside the door.

Amaya had been simply wandering about outside when she noticed a rather black and white furry guy in someone's door. Was it Timothy...? She had known of no other person turning into a skunk, which the tail itself was pretty obvious. Though like most instances, she chose to simply walk passed.
But then something else caught her green eyes. Something, or rather someone with wings that she hadn't seen in ages. Hargun had even elluded her while the duplexes had shut down.
"HARGUN!" The girl's mouth reacted on it's own, a large hand then quickly coming up to slap over her scaley mouth. The bat girl hadn't even seen her like this yet... would she even recognize her?
For now she stared, eyes wide and filled with fear about how both of them might react.

As Timothy was entering, before Hargun had closed the door behind him he heard "HARGUN!" shouted from outside with his more senseative ears.
He turned back to look out the door as well. "Um... it's for you." Timothy peaked out the door to see who had called out to her. He quietly retreated back though to let Hargun take care of it. He didn't want to be in the way.

Hargun's ears twitched again at the familiar voice, and she threw her head out the door again, not even bothering to shield for light this time. "Amaya?" she asked her squinted. {What in the heck is that- OH MY GOD. OH MY ******** looked back at Timothy for a second, a worried and suprised look on her face. "W..would you exscuse me for a sec?" she said, and burst out the door jogging to Amaya.
"Amaya is that YOU?!" she said, not at all seemingly frightened of her- her ears didnt lie to her, this was Amaya. And even though she wasnt the best at pointing out details anymore, OBVIOUSLY Amaya had changed.
A LOT.

"Y-Yeah..." The iguana winced, her bandaged tail twitching behind her a little. Even though she wore a hat, it did very little to conceal the fact she was now bald... and covered in scales. Most of her torso was exposed, since she could only wear small amounts of clothing due to her hands.
She fidgetted with her long, clawed fingers. "I changed right before the duplexes opened up..." She trailed off, forcing her still green eyes to look at her long-lost friend. "But anyway, are you alright? I couldn't find you for the longest time!"

Timothy poked his head out the door to listen to the two girls talk. He didn't really know what to say just yet. Timothys experiences with the duplexes locked were fairly cold, fairly miserable, and worst of all involving his first experience with his skunk musk. He stood back and listened at the door for now.

Hargun didnt even mind anymore that her friend had changed. After so long of not seeing anyone but bunches of bats and Ray she threw her arms out and gave Amaya a hug, ignoring any spikes, scales, and not even noticing her hat.
"I missed you! Oh my god, its been so crazy around lately." she said then backed up from the hug a bit and turned her head confused at Amaya. "What do you mean the duplexes opened up?" she said, then recalled parts of her 'dream'. "I never knew they were uh... closed? I had this.. dream.. or at least Im thinking I did, that I was stranded in a cave for two months with another islander uhm Ray was her name. Anyways, surely that cant be true right?" she said with a cheeky smile.

Amaya returned the hug full heartedly, having deeply missed her friend for those two long months and moreso. "I missed you too..."
She looked up at Hargun as she started to talk about a dream, non-existant brow furrowing. "Dream? ... No, it wasn't." Her frown deepened. "It really happened... we were all stranded outside for two whole months and all the duplexes were locked. We thought someone had died or something because the helicopter crashed and... it was all just some big stupid experiment." Green eyes trailed down, long passed the notion of being angry about it.
Now all she felt was sorrow, hatred, and fear towards the staff.

"It... it's true." Timothy stepped out of the door about it. He hadn't wanted to bring it up but since it was out there.
"I changed like this out there... in fact I had my first experience with my skunk musk." he tried not to smile, but despite it all it was funny on some base level.
He chuckled "I stunk for weeks... ask Awen."

Hargun made a small snort, then muttered a curse, probably an odd mix of swear words.
"So then that wasnt a dream? Damn. DAMN the staff. ARG! I mean, right as we -sorta- get over the whole animal thing, then they bring it to our attention that, '******** we really are animals, durhur!' again!" she said, then kicked the ground slightly, and looked up at Amaya, then to Timothy and chuckled a bit, a little cranky look still on her face.
"Well.. I cant say I suffered out there or anything. I remember having plenty of food and water, just no warm comfy bed. An old, cold, rocky cave." she said, then shuffled back to the duplex.
"Come on, Amaya. The sun is killin me." she said, then smiled slightly at Timothy as she neared her door. "Ugh.. that mustve sucked." she said, reffering to the musk.

Amaya couldn't help but smirk a little at the skunk boy's story of his first musk. It was like something out of a "coming of age" video but... in a weird mammialian ******** up way.
The lizard nodded, glad that neither of them were acting very badly to her apperance as she followed Hargun inside. "Wasn't very good for me. When it started to rain I didn't make it back to camp on time and almost... died, I think. From the cold." She still wasn't sure if reptiles could die from such a small degree of coldness.
