he carfuly kept his face blank as he explained how he would do it. " it would bind us, but their is a way around it if that is what you want. i would send the energy to Hera, then she would adapt the energy and send it to you. it would be your energy and none binding by the time your system accepted it." he looked at Phantom and smiled a little. "you would only be stuck to me if you wanted it, its the only choice i could offer you if you wanted to have a little metal magic."



Vein lets out an amused sound as he lays next to Hera, talking so only she could hear him. " thats amuseing.. he is giveing her a choice. usualy he just demands that people obey him. i gues he knows she is not someone to push around." he purres lowly and stretches. " these creatures are amuseing."

Vaidin looked down at Phantom and sighed. " i wish you didnt ask me that.. becuase i dont know what would be best... anything i say will be pushed by the fact that my instinct is telling me that you are my mate and that i should bind you to me. i want to be bound to you, but i also want it to be your choice." he distractedly moved a hair from her face and smoothed it behind her ear.


Vein, completly ignoreing V and Phantom, decided to try and teach Hera some more about humanlike creatures. still speaking where only she could hear him he started to list a few things he knew for sure. " they need to eat every day.. and they need to sleep even when they are not hurt.." he looked up at V and shook his head. " at least, most humans do. anyway, some are mind blind.. they cant even imagine magic is real. "
he laghes. " they are the funest to mess with."

he looks at her, then holding her arm gently he sends a little bit of his energy into her. a little prickling feel works its way down his arm and into hers, but he cuts it off before any real damage could be done.
"thats what it will feel like, are you sure you want that?"

Vein purrs and gets up. he stretchs out again, then lets his only other form show.
he sits on the table as a little black dragon with shineing stars on his hide that look real. as he moves his tail he nips Hera lightly and starts walking to the little doggy door V had put on the shop for him. "come on, they are going to talk forever. lets see who can fly better." he humms lowly as he walks through the doggy door and flys up to the roof.

nodding he wraps his arms around Phantom, holding her close. "ok" he murmers as he bends his head down and rests it on her shoulder.
he stills for a moment, then starts murmering words in Anceint Metal Mage dielect.
moveing carfuly, he lets his energy go into Phantom and come back to him. he does this a few more times as the prickling sensation gets irritating to let her system accept the energy he was giveing her. he lets his energy go into her one last time and leaves it, letting it bond to her.

he pants twice, then relaxs his hold on her as he rolls his shoulders. " that, felt weird." he said teaseingly, still catching his breath.



Vein looked around the roof, spoting the kite's that were left tied to a roof a few blocks away. "ok. lets see who can get down there, then bring one of those back first" he moved his wings exitedly, happy to have someone to fly with.

he smiles and rests his chin on her head. "it wouldnt hurt little love, it was just giveing energy..." tenses as he feels a wenching in his chest. it felt like his heart had shifted in his chest. suddenly he could feel what Phantom felt, and was a little shocked about it.
" i... that is a little weird.." with out realizeing it he pulled his coat over Phantom, keeping her warm as he puzzled out what had happend.


He pulled back his wings and braced himself, showing Hera how to take off quickly. he circles the roof once and lands lightly next to her, then sets into the take off postion again. he nips her shoulder lightly. " ok, on three lets go. "

"2"
"3!! lets go!" he jumps up from the roof and speeds tward the kite's.

Vaidin shrugged. he understood what had happend, though it was a bit of a shock. " im connected to you. ill feel what you do, and ill know if you are hurt or in danger. it helps me to protect you little love." he looks around, finaly noticeing that the dragons are gone. " where are Vein and Hera?"


Vein laghs, and spirals around Hera. never once hiting her as he spins around her then pulls ahead, looking back teaseingly at her.

nodding he looks up, then smacks his forhead.
"i forgot.. did lily need me? i remember somthing about it but.. " he looks at Phantom and playfuly winks. " i was try a bit distracted."



he lets out a startled sound, then amusedly stretchs out to speed up.
he snags one of the kites strings in his mouth and wheels around, flying back the way they had come.
