Hmm. Now, theres something you don't hear every day. Araris simply prescribed the talking Fox to a lack of sleep, pulled out his Pistol, and shot at the thing a few times, before deciding that he simply had more important things to do, (all of which would probably result in the death of this annoying little animal here, and much much more,) elsewhere. With a final Bang from his gun, he took off, bringing his horse to a full gallop, headed straight back to the River Village.

Araris, after hearing the first shot, spun around, and saw Rhea, standing there. He had his pistol out even as she brought the gun down to aim at him. He saw that her hands shook, and figured that even if she did shoot, she probably wouldn't hit him. He glanced ahead, for a split second, saw their course was clear of obstacles, and then continued to ride away, facing the woman, ready to shoot at her the minute she shot at him.

Seeing she seemed to want to talk, Araris brought the horse to a halt, but kept his gun trained on her. "The leader of the River clan? All the way out here? What makes you think I'm to believe that? And why do you think I'm from the Wind Clan?" Araris had gone to all the trouble of a Horse simply because he didn't wish for anyone to know he was of the Wind Clan. He'd even gone to the length of wearing the garb of one from the Earth Clan. He didn't recognize this woman as being his little fox 'friend' from before, so the gust of wind he'd used before wasn't in the cards, for him at least.

"you had better not carry me into town" Yuuka said scornfully "it would not bode well for you"

Rhea hopped on and immediately licked the man's cheek again, and curled up in his lap, flicking her tails about and tending to her small wound. "There's an inn you can stay at... I can get a room if you'd like."

Rhea awoke when they reached town, and Araris spoke. "Just follow the main road to the north edge of town, there is a large house there.. a mansion... whatever.... that is my home. Take us there..." She closed her eyes. "What is your name, anyways?"

Rhea hopped out of Araris's lap, transforming to a human before landing on her feet, her shoes clicking on the pavement. She opened the door, which was unlocked, and stepped into the dark house. "Come..."
The building was completely empty, but it was surprisingly clean. In fact, as Rhea began lighting candles around the room, she grabbed a feather duster and began touching up on the already spotless house.
"We'll not stay long. I don't spend a lot of time here. gift from the town, I guess, for my promotion to leader. I don't have much use for a house... I really should just give it away to some orphans or something..."
Once the room was lit, Rhea turned to face the man, smiling warmly. "Sit down if you'd like...... do you want something to drink? Eat?"
