Ruth ran from the room with the barman hot on her heels as the music inside reached a cresendo. As she ran down the hallway she glanced frantically into passing doorways for anything she could use as a weapon. She also tucked the drumsticks, broken at the tips ((I'm still not sure why she was playing drums?)) into her belt. They may come in handy later.
