As the Star's Light blazed through the shitstorm of Kore ships, thankful that they wouldn't realize he was there until he was already in atmo, and Jared's antic with the Haze keeping their fire off of him.

The main characters of the story would find that many people had been hiding out on the bridge, but no one at all remained in the prison section. As that section of the ship took a hit, the stench of death and scorched metal rolled out of it.
Cookie could be thanked for that.

"Jarred, ANSWER YOUR DAMN PHONE!" "I ANSWERED MY PHONE TEN MINUTES AGO BUT ALL YOU DID WAS YELL!" Jarred yelled back, swerving around ships, trying to get the fire away from the people leaving the ship.

Syx and the others reached the deep jungle, no longer in view for the ships to be shooting at. Haldis, however, had stayed behind.
The fighters continued their attack on Jarred, after managing to bring down the ship corrupted by the haze.

Eulalia Danae Syx and the others reached the deep jungle, no longer in view for the ships to be shooting at. Haldis, however, had stayed behind. The fighters continued their attack on Jarred, after managing to bring down the ship corrupted by the haze. Myke slowly lets L33t back up into the air, letting the little droid float around a bit after brushing some kicked up dirt off the small robot. "Alright stay close buddy, we're gonna need your help" Quickly takig a glance around the jungle as he makes his way over to Syx. "Okay Marshall, whats your plan? What should we do now?"

Syx glanced at Myke. "Stay together, and try to keep ourselves defended." Syx let out a soft sigh. "There's supposed to be some kind of fort facility on this planet. If we can find it, and get there, we'll be fine."

Ruby smiled, "I'll scout out for it, sugar, I've got better skills for that kind of thing. I'll let you know if I find it." Ruby started moving towards the jungle, but paused, "But if I don't come back in about ten hours, think of soemthin' else." Ruby headed off into the jungle.

Jeff decided it was probably better not to stay put at this point (the raptors had been scared off by the blasts anyway) and started ducking through the jungle. Things were a bit different here than on his home planets, he noticed, but wilderness was wilderness and it was easy to stay under cover if you knew how.
Oddly enough, his course intersected Ruby's.
He blinked and froze at the sight of the redhead. "Ma'am?"

Ruby smiled at Jeff and gave him a short wave. "Hello there, sugar. No need to be callin' me Ma'am, my names Ruby." She walked up by him, a slight bounce in her step. "Besides, Ma'am makes me feel old."

"Jeff's a good name, nice to meet you Jeff." Ruby said in her usual sickeningly friendly way, which left ED with the strong temptation to kill her at the moment. "I'm lookin' for the government outpost, an' hopin' we can use it to find shelter."

Another three set of fighters moved in towards the Gilgamesh, although these one were slightly different, and obviously not interested in attacking Jarred or killing off civilians. They were there to scavenge.
They landed close to the ship, utilizing what was left of the dock. One man moved out in front, dressed simply enough with blond hair tied back in a braid. He was in and out quickly, Haldis had obviously been waiting for him. He walked out of the ship carrying a body, the stone walking willingly behind him.
Lux quickly returned to his ship and took off, the other ships covering his small fighter as he made his way back towards the fleet hovering above the planet.

Ruby shrugged, "It's supposed to be out here, ain't supposed to be big an' shiny or anythin' but it's still supposed to be out here." Ruby started walking through the jungle greens, smiling as a tiny creature came and jumped onto her shoulder and then began checking out her hair.
