x_xmirror-illusions so. i was just wondering. many characters died in the naruto series.
who did you guys wish didn't die and still remained in the series and why? here's some off the top of my head that passed away either in the anime or in the manga. These are major and minor characters
1) 3rd hokage
2) Orochimaru
3) Sasori
4) Deidara
5) Kimimaro
6) Asuma
7) Zabuza
8- Haku
9) Hidan
10)Kakuzu
11) Jiraiya
12) Chiyo
13) Itachi
14) Obito
15) 4th hokage
16) Uchiha clan
17) gaara ( he revives. but hey. he died once right? ) I wish Asuma, Haku, Jiraya, Itachi, and...umm...Choji

i really didnt want Orochimaru, Kimimaro, Zabuza and Haku to die. especially haku and kimimaro..

I wish Itachi, Haku, Zabuza, Jiraiya, Obito, Asuma, and the 4th Hokage didn't die. I would also wish Chiyo didn't die but if she didn't Gaara wouldn't be alive today.
I wish the Uchiha clan didn't die because then Sasuke might not have such a nasty personality... but then again he could be worse with them alive. And the Uchiha clan could cause more trouble.... hm.

1) 3rd hokage -Just because he was a cool old guy who could kick some major butt!
4) Deidara -I just like things that explode =3
6) Asuma -It just made me sad when he died, even sadder when I saw Shikamaru crying because of it. And he was about to have a kid for crying out loud!
7) Zabuza -Even bad asses have feelings =l
cool Haku -The gender confused one he may be, but Haku was like a bunny, lost a confused, gental and Naive.
11) Jiraiya -Who DOES want the biggest pervert dead? Not me of all people. Jiraiya was maybe my second most favorite that just had to be killed off... What a low blow...
13) Itachi -I used to hate him with a firey passion, but when he told Sasuke why he killed the clan, that it was under direct orders of the 3rd Hokage, I got sad and cried when he finally kicked the bucket =(
14) Obito -He was like an earlier Naruto mixed with a bit of the older Kakashi (the being late part and the lame excuses) and Sasuke (the Uchiha part, thats about it) It was just a sad day when he died =(.
15) 4th hokage -Um, earth to the lost people? HE WAS NARUTO'S DAD! I think it was very obvious with the hair and the blue eyes. 'The Yellow Flash' should have lived on! I think if he was still alive, Naruto would have had a better start with life and all. But, Naruto is doing awesomely great without his parents...
=)

Itachi, Jiraya, Yondaime, and Obito.
Expecially Itachi at the moment cause he could possibly stop Sasuke's foolishness. > neutral
I would say Yondaime expecially, but since Naruto at least got to talk to him...well yeah. sweatdrop

I actually wished that Orochimaru didn't die. Mostly because he was a decent villain, not some troll like Tobi (Madara for a time) or Kabuto.
Other People I didn't want to die:
Itachi (Love that guy. He should get several rewards. Seriously.)
Asuma. (Again a decent character that got axed. Shame.)
Jiriaya (This guys character was great.)
Yamato? (I am not really sure if he is dead. But if he is, its a shame. He was annoying but he had potential.)
Honestly though I want the manga to end so no one else that I like dies. Like Kakashi. I would just be pissed if he died.
