Cooking Tools: mixing bowl measuring cup wooden spoon whisk pie pan

It is important to remember such things as Treacle Tart is popular at Hogwarts and as a good house elf I wants to please my masters.

Junimaia No one here? How depressing... well the least I can do is put up a lesson. Since I'm not sure how Alicia Elf's lesson plans are for the Intro. I'll skip to cooking. Time for an overview:
-- Lesson 4 --
As a house-elf of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, you must have realized by now that cooking is a vital part of house-elf duties here. You are all in charge of feeding the witches and wizards of this school on a daily basis. There can be hundreds of people eating here at any time. As such, you have alot of work ahead of you during the breakfast/lunch/dinner hours. Special occasions inside the Great Hall are equally if not more important since these times may have themed dishes to be served. What is more, you should prepare yourselves for any time a faculty member or student requests a dish directly from the kitchens. Hogwarts keeps supplied with a wide variety of foods, spices, and cooking tools at your disposal.
Let's start with the basics. When beginning work on any recipe, you must make sure you have the following:
1. The Ingredients 2. The proper cooking tools 3. Something to serve the food on/with when it is ready for consumption.
-- Classwork -- House-elves, please post an example of one of these 3 things, and tell me why you think it is important to remember while cooking. 1.flour used in doughboys and pancakes 2.spatula used to flip the pancakes 3.served in a bowl or on a plate with pea soup or stew

Great work everyone! I've made note of everyone who completed their classwork. Let's move on to the next lesson:
--Lesson 5-- The Ingredients
Okay, so we had an overview of the 3 basic important things when cooking. Lets get an indepth look at each one starting with the Ingredients. I'm sure you all understand the importance of ingredients, right? Without them we'd have no food to eat, and this school would cry out with the grumblies of many tumblies! And we can't have that. It is also up to us to make sure the students eat healthy. Now we can't force them to eat healthy everytime they ask for a sweet. But we CAN make every meal for the Great Hall complete with a variety of nutrients available for students to maintain a healthy diet. What food groups are involved in this kind of diet? Anyone want to give me a name of a food group (just give me one food group name; I want everybody to be able to answer this).

Very good! Since no one else seems to be biting on to this question, those of you who already answered may give me some other examples.

"The remaining food groups are the dairy and oil groups", says Dei who was getting a little anxious of no one answering the question.

Hm... weak turnout. Very good, Dei. You certainly know your foodgroups. I was going to elaborate more on this lesson but since things seem to be going too slowly. I'll skip to homework. Answer the following in a PM to me:
1. Besides health reasons, why else do you think its important to have various dishes made for meals? 2. You're in charge of making a healthy meal for a family. List for me the dishes you would make, including the ingredients for each dish. Then, tell me which basic food groups this meal covers (You MUST be able to cover at least 4 essential food groups)
If you have any questions, please post here and I'll get back to you as soon as possible. Off you go then.

*Knocks cautiously at door*
Hello Master Junimaia-
Kisaki was just wondering if her homework was acceptable, and if not does she need to re-do it?
Sorry to have bothered you and thank you for your time. Kisakai must now return to cleaning.
*Bows and exits*
