The blue and yellow dragon listened intently to the whole story. He understood but his face gave no indication of it. Should he be sad that he had no parents? Should he feel frightened and angry? He felt that he should and its true that he did feel sad, but shouldn't they look at the bright side? Shouldn't they think of the future and just be happy that they came into this world at all? He didn't quite understand it all but he did think that the answer to the last question was yes.
He looked up to OS, understanding in his golden eyes. {granpa...} He had actually spoke, it was small and nothing followed but he did finally say something.

Cart's eyes brightened. Maybe his parents were dead, but that didn't mean he didn't have siblings--full siblings, ones with the same parents!

{There were no more eggs in your nest, but I'm sure there are more nests to be found. Once the current hatchlings are old enough to leave the cave, I will leave them in your charge and seek out more eggs. I will gather them here and prepare the proper hatching spells.}

Old Silverback jumps up happily. {That's right little one! Way to go!} He nuzzles the young male, pleased as pie to finally hear him speak.

{Maybe when we get older, we could go out and look for the others and the rest of the eggs. Then we can bring them back!} Emblem brightened, looking up to the elder dragon. {And there'll be more dragons! We could come back from where we are now!}

{That works perfectly with my plan for when these ones are our age!} Cart said excitedly. {I'm going to explore--roam the wide world over! And whenever I find a nest of eggs, I'll bring it back here to hatch! You could come with, Emblem. If you'd like.}

Freckles stands up and shakes herself, the dismal spell of Old Silverback's story broken by the little blue and yellow dragon's first word. {I'm up for baby sitting!} she says, and to prove it, she stalks over to the dead deer. She lays a paw on one of the carcasses and rips off a long hunk with her teeth. She lays it down on the ground next to the deer and rips off another one. After all, there might be crazy humans out there who wanted to kill them, but all that really mattered to her was right there in the cave. A warm glow fills her heart as she thinks about the other dragons in the cave. They're just like family. Well, most of them at least. She casts a shy glance over her shoulder at Cart, and then turns back to the task at hand, afraid he might catch her staring.

Seems he was finally starting to come out of his shell this time. He loved the nuzzling his granpa gave him and even liked the old ones nose in response.

{Alright, Cart! When I get older, I'll come with you!} he chimed, a grin on his face. Emblem was still a bit sad from the news, but it was drowned by the surfacing news that there could be others.

Freckles wanders over, several strips of meat hanging from her mouth. She drops them on the floor for the young ones to eat. {Mind if I come too?}

Again with the name asking. He could not give them an answer and was confused again. His golden eyes shining bright he looked through the other dragons, they all had names. But he wished not to name himself, he wanted to be named. He looked from Cart to Granpa, his eyes gazing and asking. Give me a name.
((OOC: Yeah he wants someone else to give him his name XD If thats okay.))

Emblem looked over to his little brother, thinking deeply. He jumped up as he thought of a name. {Jabari! Why not Jabari?} he peeped, trotting in circles. {I think it fits you!}
