Izumi jumped slightly as Shinichi's voice came to her ears. He was right, she wasn't doing what she was supposed to. She leaned forwards to raise herself from the seat before stopping at the sound of his voice. Was he encouraging her? She smiled a bit to him before he had snapped at her once more. The small girl's eyes suddenly closed tightly from shock of his voice as he continued on. They opened once more, though refusing to look the man in the face. It was true, she couldn't make everyone happy...but she could do her best...But she couldn't tell him that. And, to Izumi, it didn't matter if she was in pain or not, as long as the people around her were happy with whatever it was they needed. Izumi looked up quickly as the man's laugher reached her ears. Her beads that carressed her neck jingled slightly from the sudden movement. It was the same laughter from the man she'd heard earlier. Hearing it made a smile of her own come into her face. "O-Okay...Thank you, Sir, I really don't know if I could handle going to see Dhan-sama on my own..." Izumi jumped up from her seat and looked to him, "I don't want to be a coward, I want to be someone...someone who helps others without being afraid of whatever consiquences there are to doing so! Now!...Um...what was I doing..." Izumi's small finger touched her bottom lip as she thought about what it was she was doing in the first place. Oh! The whole transforming thing! The same happy smile graced her features as she resituated her fingers and tried once more to turn into another human being. Who could she be this time? There wasn't very many people around...but she could do the best she could with what she had. She frowned, she could feel her body getting weaker, but nothing happened with the flowing substance inside her body. Was she just wasting what little chakra she had?

Tetsu arrived in the village wandering its streets looking at the villagers as he passed by them. He didn’t say anything to them just a smile as he walked around. He yawned some still tired as he was looking for the academy. He looked up at the sky enjoying the blue sky. The breeze moving his hair slightly around. He was cold but he could manage, he just wanted his coat off. He felt restricted in the winter coat and the winter shoes. He stepped inside of some snow that wasn’t bound together well and his leg slipped inside some. He quickly rushed it out shivering some as he sat on the ground getting the snow out. The villagers looked at him like he was an idiot. He had remembered that he forgot something at home, his gloves. He smacked his head slightly but didn’t feel the need to go back. He just stood up and continued searching for the academy. Maybe by luck he'd happen to run into it, or at least someone kind enough to show him here it was. Only problem with that is that he didn’t know who to ask, he wasn’t sure if the villagers knew where it was. He thought they did but was just a bit shy to start talking to random villagers.

Udo yawned, opening shop and finding himself with his eyes on a kid he hadn't seen around the village before. New guy, eh? And by the shade of his eyes, an Uchiha no less. Udo chuckled and leaned over his counter, the udon noodles boiling in the pots behind him. "You look a little lost, kiddo," he called out, his cropped blond hair messy and covering one of his eyes. Udo didn't make a habit out of talking to the kids of the village, considering it was their parents that had the money, but the kids were always good when he was bored. They, after all, were more willing to take up the riddles he liked to ask.

Tetsu a bit puzzled wondering where the voice came from. He looked over and saw someone talking to him. He was a bit shocked and confused. "Umm...uhh.." He didn’t know what to say. He just walked over to the person. "Yeah I am a tad bit lost here...Would you by any chance know where the ninja academy is?" He asked in a low tone. He was really shy about talking to this man. He hadn’t talked to anyone but his mother in a long time, no one really had interest in talking to him. "If it isn’t to much of your time, I'd like to know what general direction I should be walking in." He said his voice cracking a little from how cold he was. He didn’t wear the proper pants to be walking around in this cold weather. He stood there looking at the man with his hands in his pockets. He smiled slightly, trying to be friendly but it just looked like he was scared from the way his face was awkwardly looking at Udo.

Udo chuckled and rubbed his jaw, standing and pointing towards the eastern side of the village. "Academy is over that way, kiddo. Near there is the rice farm, where a nice lady named Mai is in charge. After school, you should get some new clothes. You don't seem suited to the winter cold." Udo gave a small smile and returned to his udon, for cooking would provide him with both warmth and a paycheck. Udo turned, though, now curious. "So, Uchiha, is there a first name that goes with that face?" Udo had only seen a couple in passing, including a genin that was...sulking somewhere, probably, and the Kage, who was missing now. Otherwise, he had not been here during the times of other Uchiha...if there had been any.

Tetsu smiled as he looked at him. "Thanks I'll be sure to talk to Mai." He said still shivering some. "I would get some new clothes but I don’t have much money. My mother and I...well we never really had to much money we just got by. We only get what little money we do from my from my father." He said to the man. He nodded his head toward his question. "Mhm, Tetsu Uchiha." He said toward the man. "What’s your name mister?" He asked kinda cowardly trying to be as nice as he could. He smelt something good and his stomach growled but he didn’t have much money on him. "Umm, one more question mister. What is it your cooking?" He asked with a shaky voice he hadn’t eaten anything at all today.

Udo guffawed, motioning for the boy to sit down at one of the high stools before the counter, and prepared a quick bowl of yummy udon noodles for him. Udo leaned over the counter and gave Tetsu a once-over. "Well, considering this is a smallish island and we're a small-ish village, I think you're smart enough to figure something out as far as repayment." Udo chuckled and tapped the counter. "First one's on the house; next time, solve one of my riddles and your dinner is free. As for Mai, she usually likes having help in the spring, since her husband isn't around anymore. She loves kids though, and helping has never been an issue. As far as I can see, no one here requires hard money if you're willing to put in the work for what you want." Udo went back to his pots, and realized he hadn't even answered the boy's question. "By the way, my name's Udo. Udo the Udon man." Udo laughed at the little joke that was his name, and continued to prepare more noodles for the day.

Tetsu sat down and smiled. He grabbed some chop sticks and began eating the meal set before him. He was practically inhaling the noodles as he ate the bowl. He ate a little to fast and began to choke. He coughed the noodles up but quickly swallowed them back down. "This...Is...Great!" he said in-between swallows of the noodles. He finished and put the bowl down licking his lips smiling. "That was great...ummm Udo-sama. I'd do anything for another bowl just name what you need done and consider it so." He said with a large grin across his face. He completely cleaned out the bowl of noodles, he didn’t realize how hungry he actually was until he ate something.

Udo chuckled and took the empty bowl, filling it again to the brim and leaning against the counter. "Alright, riddle me this: what has hands but cannot touch?" Udo asked. It was a simple riddle, one that he'd heard a million times, if not more, growing up. It was also one of his favorites, and though it was likely that Tetsu would get it on his first shot, it was also likely that the boy had never heard it before. That would be a great shame, in Udo's opinion, and the man sifted through his recipes, debating what the daily special would be. The one that the Orochi kid liked had been pretty popular, what with the eggs and all that...but then there was a tasty one that called for seafood instead that Udo had been meaning to try. Decisions, decisions...

Tetsu stared down the bowl placed before him. He was thinking hard about the riddle. He had never herd such a riddle before, come to think of it he hasn’t herd of riddles before. He sat there thinking and thinking not sure of what to say. 'What has hands but cannot touch' it kept racing through his mind. His stomach growled as he smelt the noodles in the bowl, so many distractions. Well one, and that was his hunger talking to him.
Tetsu looked at him "Ummm...errr..let me think about it a little longer Udo?" He asked kindly hoping for a yes to his question.

Natamo walked into the village, ready to question Prodo about Shinichi's whereabouts when lo and behold, there stood the man himself, his red hair a-blazing. "Oi, Shinichi-san, I got a little furball here with your name on it. Not much fur on her, but I'm sure you can think of something useful to do with her. She bites, even with her tiny little teeth of terror. She nipped my jaw, but nothing serious. Not sure she can be partnered, though now that I think about it, I could have let her go...hm...well, maybe you'll have more luck training her...or make her into a small plaything for that falcon you try to call a partner." Natamo laughed at the last statement, knowing that Noburo, at least a little, respected the ANBU in some sense to be willing to fight with him, but she was never around, unlike the lion and his girl who were joined at the hop. Shinichi was with a little girl who seemed underdressed for the weather, though Natamo didn't particularly care about the girl's welfare. it was after all her choice.
Udo chuckled and nodded, pushing the bowl in front of the boy. "Eat kiddo, I can hear your stomach over my thinking. If you need to, take the day to figure it out, and come back for dinner."

Tetsu shook his head. "No I wont." He said looking at him. "You have rules on it. I don’t mind at all obeying them sir." He said as his stomach growled once more. He looked at the bowl. "I'll give it another shot." He said as he sat there thinking. He thought hard trying to focus as much as he could. He would get this right, he was determined. He wanted to take it for free, that was true but he wouldn’t. He would make sure that he would get this riddle correct. He looked at Udo and smiled still thinking though.
He thought as hard as he could. "Would it be, a person?" He asked Udo but figuring he was wrong. He knew that it wasn’t right but maybe he'd get lucky. He wouldn’t stop trying for as long as he had to sit there with the noodles in front of him he would get this right.

Udo chuckled and shook his head. "A person? No, no. People can touch, after all." Udo ruffled the boy's hair gently and motioned all around, pretty much emphasizing that it was a thing and not a person. Udo turned and pushed the bowl towards Tetsu again, going back into the shop and cooking more noodles, preparing the bowls and utensils for the other customers he would have during the day.

Tetsu fixed his hair with what he could. He took his tie out and stood up. He put his head down hunching over. Then he flipped his head back rushing all his hair backward so it didn’t look messed up anymore. He laughed some as he tied his hair back up. He continued to think about the riddle not looking at the ramen anymore for a distraction. 'What has hands but can not touch' he thought it in his head once more. He thought he was getting close this.
Tetsu faces brightend up as he slammed his hands on the counter. "Its a clock!" He nearly shotted at the man. He smiled and laughed some. "That has to right!"

Sorri plopped onto Udo's ramen shop and assembled a snow ball in a new plan of thievery and dismay, hey it kinda work with Serena right? He jumped into a hand less cartwheel and tumbled-rolled, into his landing. With some random , hypnotic, and smooth hand gestures to attract the attention of the new guy and Udo, Sorri then tossed the snowballed itno the shop at a bare wall, making sure he couldn't break anything. while thier attention was off of the little ninja swept off a bowel of udon and ran for it to find Shinichi and let him know that he had beat the challenge of Takumi. He looked back waved at Udon, he knew that he would get a bowel easily, but in his rush to meet back up with that was a little passable speed bump."Thaaank yoooou!" He turned the the cornwer and slurped the ramen up while speedign by the weapon shop. By time his had spotted the Kage, the bowel had been empty. Sorri liad it down in a corner, some where he knew he would remember and then made walked into his report and bowed before both Natamo-sensei and Shinichi-sensei.
"The ninjutsu has been learned and I think Takumi may be a bit upset"
