He wasn't used to people helping him, though as much as he loathed it, it was still nice when he was still in a state of recovery. He wasn't too surprised by this new development, and honestly expected one more personality to come from Riot. There was a name for a man that split himself in to several personalities, but he hadn't researched it too much.
"You remind me of the Morning Star before he left, and Gabrielle after that. If you're all and nothing at once, then you're a paradox, and in the end a bit of a Pandora's Box. I'll leave it to Kain to open that box; I'd rather not have such a curse cast down upon me. Chaos, Riot, Death, Rampage, AlphaS and the one...Sin, was it? That was used as a tribute to the Gate for Maria's return? Yes, there's no doubt a final seventh...the one in full control. THAT'S my Master, though I'm obliged to listen to his variations as well."
He'd sip at his water, removing the scarf again to show his hideous face. Still, he needed to sustain water. He didn't eat, but he did cycle through a great deal of energy, something he found Weyward's eater would always restore.
"The defenses...make this building out of PermCrete. If you so wish, I can steal the data from Kain's computer and see what's been keeping us in...and out...of there. With a solid foundation and perfected defenses, the defenses you have in mind could only make this place invincible!"

Cat had gathered up Caleb and put him back to bed, where he slept soundly, even through the announcement made over the intercom. Poor kid was worn out. Cat had taken to an overstuffed chair in the corner of Calebs room, legs pulled up on the cushion as she sat crooked on the seat, head resting against the corner of the back rest.
She simply glanced at the intercom as Eleck spoke, frowning and glaring at the speaker. 'I thought I made it utterly and perfectly clear that there was nothing between us when that all took place? Why the hell is he calling himself my boyfriend?' the thought ran through her head a couple of times before she simply sighed and pushed it away. She already knew who he was now, she knew after he decided to let the cat out of the bag before. That memory still stung slightly, though she ignored it and closed her eyes, attempting to sleep once more. She found herself hesitating to sleep, knowing that in teh past as soon as she drifted off something usually happened to wake her up.

"Does it matter in the end, Cat? Let them think what they want; humans live in fear of denial and thus turn to ignorance. I apologize for reading your mind, but in keeping this link open I tend to hear more than others wish, but know only you can hear me right now. You ought to simply feel honored that someone thinks so highly of you that they'd go in to denial for you."
He'd chuckle a bit in his mind, a chuckle she'd be able to hear. He'd of fallen asleep by this point, though that simply increased the power of mind and spirit for him. He still found it strange that they'd come here of their own free will...but he didn't want to question it. Instead, he'd lay and wonder, thoughts Cat could hear if she focused on them.
"If Angels don't have souls, much less free will...then what is it that allows us to act as we please? Not all of us are the same or Michael and Gabrielle wouldn't be so different and Lucifer would have never revolted...is it that God doesn't want us to THINK we have it? He wants servants...and a good servant doesn't question it's master, it just obeys. But, he needed entertainment, thus he created these talking monkeys and gave them free will and blessed them with ignorance, but they lack our power. Perhaps Lucifer was right...perhaps God is a cruel creature that just toys with everything that needs to be cast down. But then who's to replace him? Most of us hate humanity, but we need to keep order...sadly, this tyrannical creature most likely needs to remain in place. Still, Lucifer would never allow humans to suffer like this...he never hated them, he just refused to bow before them! Look at this planet, though...torn apart by bickering and wars. It's as if they came to a planet that had already been cursed by the apocalypse; their water is even toxic! ...Perhaps, if I can purify a pitcher, I can purify a world! Perhaps the Master will allow me to try...we'll see."
Thus, his brain would finally shut up. Hiro was still getting ready to break the barrier between worlds and serve him once more, though this planet's astral line was far thicker, denser...almost as if someone had tampered with it. Who knew. For now, he'd just walk that astral line as opposed to dreaming, keeping an eye on the world, and that church...

Cat listened quietly to Setsumei as he asked his question, she was tired and didn't really focus much on replying. "If you can read my mind Setsumei, then you should know that what Eleck said was a bold face lie intended to hurt me. I"ll explain how him and I met some other time, right now I just need sleep." she explained calmly, no real emotion in anything she said at the moment.
She closed her eyes, and after a moment realized she could hear what Setsumei was thinking. She felt as if she was eavesdropping so she tried her best not to pay attention, though the thought he had was pretty intriguing. She didn't respond to it intentionally, the thought slipped out before she realized he'd here it. 'You have a mind, so that alone allows you to act how you want. they way you describe it makes it sound as if your a golem or something?'

"In all honesty, I'm not sure what I am. I've flesh, bone, tendons, ligaments...but at the same time, I suffer no ailments like those created in His image do. I doubt even Gabrielle or the others could honestly define what and Angel really is, other than something created to server God and bow before humanity. It's a cruel joke, really. It's not like we hate humanity, or at least the majority of us, we just hardly see you as superior to ourselves, especially when we come to the revelation that we've as much free will as yourselves."
He'd sigh...it was this kind of thinking that lead to the war vaguely depicted in the fairytale for the humans, but at the same time, those 'fallen' all had a point, especially Lucifer. Of course, he found it amusing humans had feared Hell for so long as well. Perhaps the lack of fire and brimstone put their minds at ease in the end...it was simply void of all light and love. Great place for demons to spawn from, of course.

"Why should you view humans as superior?" The question was more out of confusion. "I may not be teh most religious person you'll meet, but I"ve read plenty of books on this particular subject, and I don't remember anywhere where it said Humans were better then Angels. If we were, why would we ask for you to protect us when needed."

"When God made us, he more or less made us fresh and made us simply to serve him. When you were brought in to the fray, he created you in His image and thus held them higher than us, and told us to forever guard ad protect you as creatures in His image. In other words, we were to serve you as well simply because you were made like him, with free will and the power of creation. Some of us, though, thought we should have a choice in serving something inferior to us...it was this thought that banished Lucifer to Hell to forever dwell in the dark without love or light. Of course, his legion was sent with him, and yes, he tried to create a second kingdom, but eons spent in the dark with despair as your only blanket will not warrant the best actions. Demons soon spawned from the hatred and despair he and his legion turned to, and even morphed some of them...Samael being a great example. Lucifer himself, though...he's still a good guy, and he doesn't hate humans. He never turned in to this...goat-like creature in the books; that's why I hate it when you must rely on a third party to convey messages. He abandoned his wings as an angel and took on the wings of a Devil, a constant reminder to him and a slap to the face of God. Yes, there was, and still lurks, a Beast, though you have it's name all wrong. Samael became that creature, but that's a whole other story. There's also a goat-like creature, indeed named Satan, the first and no doubt most powerful of the demons. He goes by many names, though, and he prefers to have other demons refer to him by a name the humans dare not speak without evoking his wrath, which is Mephistopheles. But don't day it. I know I've trailed off a bit here on to the subject of Hell, but my point is that all of this darkness and despair; these creatures born of hatred were only given birth because we would not kiss the a** of the humans."
He knew Lucifer well, and had served not under but with him for a great deal of time, though once the war broke out, he'd grown fearful of God's wrath and thus betrayed his friend and instead joined Micheal's forces to throw down the most beloved of the Angels. This was the reason he always spoke so ill of Micheal and the rest of the seraphim. This whole incident would play out in his mind as clear as day, including the battle, all for Cat to see if she so pleased.

Cat was silent for a moment, just listening and taking in the information. "If it helps, I don't think Caleb or I see ourselves better then you. I think Caleb see's someone he can trust, and help out though. And I realize that I've yet to thank you for watching out for him when Papyrus was being an idiot. So, Thank you." Cat leaned her head back and draped her legs over the other arm of the chair, staring up at the ceiling. She thought back to all the scares Caleb had given her these past few days, right up to Riot showing up at her apartment and telling her he was taking him. She sighed and shook the thought away.

Jonas, well the new jonas sat alone in his office. Maria had taken flight into the night leaving him to his thoughts. For a while he pondered the fairness of life and the cards it delt. A loaded deck to say the best of it, the worst was aparent when he looked at weyard. Nothing it seemed could be seen ina light that not hide its shadows. Beauty was nothing but ugliness that appealed to the eye. Everything was just someones version of the truth, so many lies balled up so tight that they hurt anyone in the way. He thought of himself, broken into so many pieces he couldnt tell who he was anymore. At some point he had been normal, just like everyone else. All his personas had jsut started out as friends, then they turned into people... As he knew all to well some people dont like others. When you have to referee your own mind it becomes confused and twisted. Some thngs just dont untangle in a way that is recognizable. Memories like crumbled paper, that will never be perfect again; they were their but their luster had been lost. A tear found its place on his cheek and for once Jonas felt normal; didnt normal people cry when they felt sad?

Cat moved quietly off teh chair, sleeping seeming to have eluded her once again. Quietly she moved to the door and slipped out, letting Caleb sleep soundly in the bed. She looked around the empty room and then looked to the office where Jonas sat. She continued to move around quietly, not wanting to wake Setsumei either. Going to the door she knocked gently, catching teh glint of a tear on Jonas's cheek. "Everything alright?" she asked calmly.

"By definition no. By right yes." He didnt look at her and he rifted the tear into oblivion where it belonged. The second time he had cried in two years, he was getting soft. "Cant sleep i s'pose?" He turned around and all trace of emotion was gone. His voice sounded younger and even he seemed to look it. It was probably just a side effect of yet another transformation.

Cat smirked and ran her fingers through her hair. "Sleep hasn't come all that easily these past couple of weeks, nothing new. I"m just waiting till I pass out now." she half joked. "What about you? Insomniac or nocturnal?" she asked.

"I dont sleep, ever." It was true, he had never slept all his life. Dreams it seemed did not want his company. "Kinda creepy really. I usually just read or think while everyone else sleeps, i think thats what people do when they sleep; they imagine..." He looked at her and waved at a chair inviting her in. The air seemed less tense without Maria, even he had to admit that.

Cat walked in and took a seat. "Unless your talking to Setsumei, dreams then seemed to be back ground noise." she mused. She looked around teh room breifly, taking note that Maria wasn't around. She would of asked but figured it wasn't all that polite to do so. "Must get boring."

"She loves to fly. Sometimes when the thermals are up over the ocean she flies all night. Freedom has many forms for everyone." The new jonas was evaulating cat for the first time and the general impression was good; but something seemed amiss. "Why are you here? I know i asked you to come but your here of your own free will, why?" Seemed like a logical question seeing as they were talking of freedom.
