Relena let out a quick signed as she saw Ryu successful attack. She finally let her eyes close because they become far to heavy to keep open but mind was still awake.

"Thank you Ryu..." she said quietly, "Silfer...is she alright?"

Relena had already called out to slifer but she was unresponsive.

Relena snapped open as a dozen feet raced by her line of vision at Ryu. She reached for Ryu not really knowing why," RYU!"

As her words lefted her mouth Ryu was quickly surrounded by elves and subdue. The elven language thrown around about his head was obvious pissed off, about him, and directed at him! Relena tried to rise to her feet to stop anything that knew was probably about to happen but a large arm wrapped it way around her waist and she found herself pressed tightly against male chest. A very familiar and deep voice sounded off, "Are you alright....where are you hurt!?"

It was Brom and thankfully he was not pissed...yet. Relena, on the other hand, was frantically trying to break free from his vice grip on her, "I am find...stop them before they hurt him or worst...kill him. It is not his fault...it is mind! It was my idea...not his...he doesn't deserved this...stop them!" Relena continued her rant with her suddenly spike of adrilene running through her veins. She knew that Ryu was going to be killed for sure this time and it was her fault.

"Tell them to worry about silfer and not him....please...do something," cried out now have the elf heads turned her, their attention off Ryu for a second.

"BROM!!!"

Brom, with a quick nodded of his head, had the majority of the elf race to the down dragon and began to work on saving its life. Relena finally stop struggling in his grasp and settled down a bit, "Please...just let him go...please...it...not....hi..s...fau..lt." Finally the toll and adrilene rush fading took it hit on her and she passed out in Brom's warm and comforting arms. He slowly handed her off to an elf that left Ryu to be tended too. He looked at the remain and waved them off, "I will take care of him." The left the boy to Brom as he stood over Ryu, "Now...what to do with you..."

The next to weeks had been more than just miserable but hell!

Brom did his magic and found a way for Ryu to stay alive and get that nap that he wanted. Sadly Brom has to pull favors and make deals. Relena was bed riden for a few days due to the toll of her magic use. Ryu was sweet enough to cook her special meals as she recover.

During these two weeks recovery for Silfer was slow if not nothing at all. The arrow has prieced the left side of her heart, merely scrapping it, but it was enough to do great damage. Apparently a dragon heart was extremely touchie. Silfer was still out cold but now as able to breath on her own. It was just taking time. Heck, silfer had it easy. It was Ryu that had to deal with Relena out burst due to Silfer absences. Apparently the connection between dragon and rider was very strong and if one was down or out it could push the other over the edge. Something like losing a part of you according to Brom. Eventually Ryu found away for deal with Relena outburst whenever the black void that silfer used fill became to much. That trick was his cooking, even the elves had a problem staying mad at him when he cook.

During the time that Relena was out of commision Brom and had opponented Ryu his new disciple. Brom thoroughly enjoyed the training session with Ryu. Dispite Brom saving his butt...three times now...didn't mean he was going to be nice to him. Even Brom blame Ryu some for Relena and Silfer condition. Never the less Brom had to admit the boy was improving and was able to keep up with him for good amount of time. Towards the end of two weeks Relena finally had to subsitute the void with something other that Ryu cooking. Training suddenly became her new time consumer. She would throw everything she had into it until the point she would pass out some times.

She remember the time that Ryu came in the first time she passed out. The guy freaked and gave Brom a black eye accusing him of attacking her. It was later that he found out it was training and Relena who did want to quit. So after staying with all her night and making breakfast he had to apologize to Brom and his lovely shiner to which Relena was clueless about. Brom got his revenge in Ryu next training session.

Finally Relena and Ryu were paired off and trained with themselves because suddenly Brom became very preoccupied.


Relena caught the sword in mid air an swung down hard on Ryu short blade. The metal bounced off one another and whined at the forced. She ducked and jumped back as Ryu tried to go for her left side with his blade.

"Hey," shouted Relena, almost hissing,"are you actually trying to take out rib!"

Relena slowly lifted her head, letting out long hiss through her clinched teeth. She was having one of those outburst again. She pulled free from the wall with a violent jerk, shreads of her clothing still wrapped around the throwing forks as she charged him. Her sword clattered to the ground as she formed a fist and sent it sailing towards Ryu face, "DODGE THIS!" Amazing the guy dodged, barely, as Brom walked in as Relena was readying another punch.

"What is going on here," echo across the training room.

Relena went to screeching halt as Brom voice boomed out. She looked like she had been caught with her hand in the cookie jar. She pulled back from Ryu and bowed her head, "Sorry Ryu.....again...." She looked up to Brom, "...um..."

"Silfer is awake..." stated Brom flatly. The poor man had to jump from the stair to the training ground floor as Relena zoomed passed him. He looked at Ryu, "What are you standing around here for move it...?" Ryu had yet to have the "talk" with silfer. It was also wiser for him to now for his health while the dragon was not at her best.

Silfer head reared at Ryu entrance into the room. Almost immediately she hissed in immense pain. Her claws when to her chest as she settle back down into the pillows she rested on. She still growled warning at Ryu.

"What is he doing here...this is his fault," said Silfer growling.

Relena rubbed her neck loving. Her demeanor was officially turn back to normal and there were zero signs of an angry outburst to come. She gave smile, "It wasn't...it was mine....I was taking him out of the city to give him his freedom back."

Silfer eyes went wided at this, "....what!"

Relena quickly explained everything that happen. "Please...why can't you be nice," asked Relena.

"You are my number one concern...he is threat!"

"And Brom isn't? There is no differences between the two...why do you see one when there is not."

Silfer snarled as she wrinlked her lips at Ryu, "Just because!"

Relena frowned and took one of the rolls. She took a bit and smiled at the sweetness, "Please tell why you are so afraid of him?"

"I don't know..."

"..."

"He is just dangerous. You will always whant to help him and do so nearly got you kill this time! He is weak. Pathetic. The perfect target for the king. I can't...take care of you when he is around."

Relena frowned and looked up at Ryu, "She afraid of losing me Ryu. She fears that because of you she will be able to protect me."

Silfer lowered her eyes to floor and let out a sigh, nodding as she did, "Yes...Brom will give his life for you as I would that is why I do not fear him. Wanda would do the same since she is your sister. He has no bond...if it were him or you he would choose him!"

Silfer jaw dropped to the follow. He said what!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!


The next two week prove to be very tense between Silfer and Ryu. At the end of the two week Silfer had amazing recovered to 100%. Despite Ryu words of reason Silfer still knocked him out for three days after recovery. Relena simply stayed out of it. She figure it was between the two of them and that she really needed to stay out of it.

Two more weeks followed. During which most of the time Relena kept to herself. This was the time that Ryu and Silfer develop more of a relationship that keep them on neutral grounds. Alot had happen recently and had been settling uneasily with Relena. It made her doudt and second guess alot of what she knew. So most of this time was spent to herself.

A party was sudden brought up by the elves with Relena and Wanda at the center of it. By this time Relena was more out in the open once again and training with Silfer. Brom seemed rather angry by this party but refused to tell Relena or Wanda why.


Brom head jerk up when Ryu entered the room, "What are you doing here?"

Brom arched an eyebrow, "It is called Transdracves. A very powerful spell is what it is."

What Brom did know what that Ryu knew Relena and Wanda were at the party now after he order them not too. They could careless but when the elves came to take them personally...well they couldn't really refuse.
