Cale gathered Hunter in his arms, not daring to let him go as Hunter haqd not released his hold. "Lead the way."

Captain trotted off, escourting cale, carrying a ******** Hunter, to the boarding zone.

Cale took Hunter as directed to the Medical Ward. Riley was on her feet as soon as she saw him, smiling. As he handed Hunter off to the staff, Riley ran to him, kissing him deeply. From Hattie's bed there was a tired chuckled. "Now that's ******** up...." She coughed, her throat feeling too dry and her body too drugged up.

Eric chuckled, and started coughing again.
The Hunter medic made a whirring noise, and Eric's eyes glazed over as the IV that delivered Morphine kicked in.
Captain stood in the doorway, removing his helmet and shaking out his hair, looking over to Tu.

Hattie sat up abruptly at the sound of Eric's laugh. She looked over at him, her heart monitors beeping frantically. "Eric! I'm so sorry." She made to get out of the bed but a hoard of Medical staff wrestled her back into bed. She was still whispered apologies as they forced more medication into her IV.

Eric waved a hand lazily.
"No prob...." And then promptly passed out.

Hattie fell asleep soon after as medics hustled about fixing up Hunter and checking on Eric and Hattie. Riley took up her seat and Cale dragged a chair over as Hattie's crew bustled in and out. Soon Sigil's looming blue form was standing over Hattie's bed.

Das Steube captain turned to leave the med ward, still holding his helmet. "Miss Tu, may I speak with you?" Tu glanced up at him, and gave short nod. "Something the matter?" She asked.

Cale and Riley watch with wry smiles. "Ten says he'll ask her out." Riley whispered. "Fifty says he just offers a position in the Hunters." Cale chuckled, slapping the money into Riley's hand. "You are SO on!" The two were shushed by the me4dics.

"A hundred and fifty says I could whack you both, over my shoulder, not looking, and not disturb the medics, Hattie, Mister Chase or the kid. Anyone want to take that one?" He then turned his attention to Tu, "Just talk. Is it that alien to want to get to know the ones he's around?"

Das Steube Captain looked over his shoulder. "A hundred and fifty says I could whack you both, over my shoulder, not looking, and not disturb the medics, Hattie, Mister Chase or the kid. Anyone want to take that one?" He then turned his attention to Tu, "Just talk. Is it that alien to want to get to know the ones he's around?" Tu blinked a few times, her grey eyes sizing up the captain. "Depends in what system you're flying, Captain."

Riley and Cale still laughed softly, shaking hands on their bet. "You know Eric and Hattie'd be all over this action if they were conscious." Riley gave the Captain a wink as Halise looked up at all of them from where he say on the floor. "You all are sort of disturbing my Prayers, so why don't you two leave the Captain alone and let him and Miss Tu go on about their business." As soon as he said this, he bowed his head once more and returned to praying.
