It remains very good throughout the show, and really does a lot to develop characters (something that a lot of other shows don't do). That same pitch black humor stays there throughout.
I've noticed that its much, much more fun to watch movies with good friends that have strong senses of sarcasm. Batman Begins was soooo much better when watching it with my friends.

Wow. That in and of itself is amazing. God bless American television's power of suggestion.

Well, after seeing the Good Shepherd I do not suddenly have the urge to toss a pregnant woman from the very in-flight plane she is flying to her own wedding.
I do want to wear a business suit with horn-rimmed glasses and a homburg on my bus ride to work now.

The Good Shepherd is good......shepherd.
One of the better films with Matt Damon ever. Even the Bourne movies blow c**k compared to this. My roommate didn't get it. Typical. The most intellectual movie he gets is 300. I loved how they told all about the bonesmen too.
Something about a Soviet Defector High on acid throwing himself out of a window.... Awesome!
"They said you were a serious SOB with no sense of humor. There can't be two of you." -great line.

I don't think any Bond movie can be considered the epitome of spy flms... they are cheesy and unsubtle (except maybe for Casino Toyale). I'm not saying some of them are not good (I loved Goldeneye), but they are not serious/realistic/credible at all neutral Still, though I love the Bourne trilogy, I'm not sure if I'd call it the Godfather of spy films... maybe Austin Powers?

Time Out! *whistle blows, everyone moves to the edge of the court* How can you claim that that the Bond films don't have a claim to the title of "Godfather of Spy Films", but Austin Powers does? A.P was just a cheesy micky take of James Bond, and only the first AP film was any good, the other 2 were like driving red hot needles into your scrotum. Cleary you have gone mad or have willingly turned to hereasy. Either way you will appear before the High Council next Monday, plead your case and then be shot. Time In! *game resumes*

Laura_Sofia-85 but they are not serious/realistic/credible at all neutral Welcome to fiction. Anyways, why should they have to be serious/realistic/credible? "Spy film" =/= "real life spies". That would be boring.
