After a long boatride, Robert finally arrived in Pallet Town, where many beginning trainers start thier adventures. It didn't take long for Robert to find the lab, giving how small the town itself was. The large building with an even larger pokemon ranch behind it was almost a dead give away.

Robert knocked on the door of Oak's research center. After a minute of waiting, the door opened, and before him stood Professor Oak. "Ah welcome. Who might you be?" Oak asked with a pleasant tone of voice. Robert took out thick envelope and held it up. "My name is Robert, from the Sinnoh reaghion. Professor Rowen asked me to deliver this ot Professor Oak. Are you him by any chance?" Robert asked. Oak gave a nod to Robert and accepted the envelope. "Indeed I am. Come on in. So how is Professor Rowen? I'm sure he must have told you a bit about me." he spoke as he lead Robert into the living room and sat down. Robert followed and took a seat on the couch opposite Professor Oak. "He told me you're the leading authority on pokemon research. But my grandmother says you're still a softie." Oak blinked a bit at Robert's words. "Your grandmother? Who might that be?" he asked. Robert laughed lightly. "My grandmother is Agatha. She's one of the Elite Four in this region." Oak almost fell on his face. "Well...sounds like she's still the same as ever then. She and I were rivals back when we were your age. But while she went on to become one of the best pokemon trainers, I felt such a powerful kinship with my pokemon that I wanted more to explore and research pokemon instead of making them battle." Robert gave a simple nod. "Everyone has thier own place in this world, and every role is important. But in any case, I'd like to ask if you could update my Pokedex for this region, and I'd like to enter into the Indigo League."

Professor Oak smiled and gave a nod to Robert before taking his pokedex. "Certainly. Let's take a look..." he spoke before hooking up the pokedex to his computer. "It'll only take few minutes. So, did you come with your own friends, or do you intend to choose from one of the three starters offered in Kanto?" Oak asked. "I have two starters. One was an abandoned pokemon I raised at my mother's orphanage. The other was given to me by professor Rowen." Robert replied before letting Riolu and Puiplup out of thier pokeballs once more. Professor Oak took a good look at both of them. "Wel,, well! These two look very healthy and strong. Especially this Riolu..." And before Professor Oak could continue, Piplup began pecking at the back of Oak's head. Robert winced as he watched. "Piplup, stop now! I'm sorry professor. Piplup's a bit jealous of Riolu because she thinks I favor him over her." The professor's head bobbed back and forth "Quite a healthy peck attack she has...."

Within a few second afterwards, the computer began to beep. "Ah, your pokedex is done. Here you go. And you're all registered in the pokemon league here in Kanto." Oak replied before handing Robert his Sinnoh pokedex and a gym badge case. RObert smiled as he recieved them. "Thank you professor." Robert spoke before heading out, his two pokemon following close behind.

Once on the grassy path, Robert opened his pokedex to look at the map. "Ok, the closest town to here is Pewter. And there is where the first gym lies." From that point. Robert began to travel down the path to his first real adventure.

"Yeah it's looking like we left at a great time."Shinji said.Shinji turned too and followed Myu.

Robert was about ten minutes away from the group, though he was more interested in finding a new pokemon friend. Pidgeys and Rattatas seemed to be the most common along the route. He already had a water and fighting type, so in his mind a flying type would be a very wise investment. Robert kept a sharp lookout for a lone pidgey to deal with. he already knew in his mind he would have to rely on Piplup, since Riolu was weak to flying types. Not tomention it would give Piplup a chance to show herself off and get rifd of the pent up stress from earlier.

After a good few minutes of searching, he would see a Pidgey that wasn't near a flock of its own kind. Piplup and Riolu were still outside of thier pokeballs, so he didn't have to waste any time. "Alright Piplup. Ready for your first battle? Get that Pidgey with a pound attack." Piplup gave a nod and charged at the Pidgey, gaining speed as she ran. Leaping into the air as the Pidgey tried to take off, Piplup came down hard on the Pidgey, knocking it back to the ground. Though injured, the Pidgey was still in relatively good health, and now it was angry. It flew at Piplup and struck Piplup in the chest. "Now, Pound agian while it's close!" Robert called out. Wincing a bit, Piplup spun and struck Pidghey in the back with another pound attack. As the Pidgey stumbled forward from the blow, Robert tossed a pokeball at the Pidgey. As the pokeball struck, it pulled Pidgey into the ball, turning it into red energy. Now all that was left was to wait and see if the Pidgey would be captured or escape from the pokeball.

"So, we're almost there?"

*Keneku was getting excited too, there was a certain pokemon he knew to live around Pewter City, and was hoping to see it.*

"Think we'll see any nidoran around?"

The light faded as the pokeball settled. He had caught his first kanto friend. "Alright guys! Piplup, you did great." Piplup chirped and flpped her little fins. Taking out an oran berry, Robert picked up the pokeball, Bringing Pidgey out. "Here you go. Eat this and you'll feel better." Robert spoke, handing the oran berry to the small bird. Pidgey quickly ate the food up before nuzzling into Robert;s hand. "Welcome to the team Pidgey." Robert said before standing and recalling Pidgey to the pokeball.

Robert continued through Route 1, heading towards Varidian City. Robert knew what pokemon friend he wanted to add next. He had gone through Route 22 many times when he was with his grandmother. A female Nidoran would make a most welcomed addition to his growing team. But first things were first. He needed to train agianst some wild pokemon, get to varidian city, heal up his pokemon, and then hit Route 22 to find his next pokemon friend.

"...A weedle...a cute weedle?"

*Keneku started to giggle at the thought of a weedle.*

Shinji looked around at the city and he was completely awe struck by the city.'Wow so this is Viridian city!"He said.He didn't notice the Rocket grunts because he was awe struck.
