"I wouldn't like to jump to conclusions..." what was Saga expecting him to say..? reveal the attacker's name..? That wouldn't be possible no matter how hard they all had wished for it. "One thing I do know... is that should be the greatest test we could ever face" The Holy Wars were far from over. It seems they have started to celebrate far to early. "After all, there are things far more frightening that Death itself that we have managed to defeat...
"Oh gods..." the words escaped her lips in silence. The terrible devastation made the girl want to cry. The beautiful cherry tree was gone... Just a huge burned-up trunk was left in the middle of a major crater. Who could have done such a thing..? Whoever that was there was nothing sacred to them.

Saga was expecting something more from Shaka. But if the Virgo saint couldn't figure out who did this... Saga looked at his brother. "Kanon, did you see the attacker?" He would ask in his usually calm and cold voice. But maybe the girls would know more? Mu's student would be too shy to speak up to his directly and another one would probably say something stupid. So Saga just looked at his brother waiting for his story.

Yes, the Gemini saint wasn't pleased with such answer. If a clear answer he wants, then a clear answer he gets. yet there's no reason to rush things. After all, Shaka wasn't the only one to speak around here. Solving this mystery on his own would be to big of a burdain to carry. After all, it's a huge responsibility. One must always be prepared to take responsibility for every single word they say. Since sooner or later it might cause trouble. Dark clouds of terror were gathering around them now. It's so easy to slip... One wrong step and they might be facing their doom in no time

Kanon took a deep breath, shaking his head. "Nothing," he said honestly, "Who or whatever our opponent is, we're as clueless as if he hadn't attacked at all." I took no genius to figure out that Saga was going to be furious at these answers, but there was not much more they could do. Their opponent was a complete, terrifying enigma to them.
He absently pulled at the dried blood in his hair, wondering not for the first time why he bothered with having let it grow so long.

This meant the only chance for them was to wait. Wait for the opponent's another arrival to Sanctuary. They are surely going to come back, but what was scaring the girl the most was that then they could do even much more damage and harm. No one knows who might be attacked the next time... Shaking her head, Diana closed her eyes for a few moments trying to throw all those thoughts away. She's a saint now, she has to be prepared for everything and she must not let her emotions control her. But it's still so hard for someone like her...

What would be the best thing to do now..? Keep his op opinion to himself or tell them the truth..? The saint wasn't sure though whether he's on the right track, or is it just a guess... anyhow, his silence wouldn't be any much of a help now aether so... "I have a question for you... all of you" Facing the rest of the saints Shaka gave them a serious look. everything now depends on their answer. "what do you think could be the biggest thread to this world..? be honest, I really want to know"
After a few moments the girl sank to her knees right beside the huge trunk still smelling the smoke of the burned down tree that was once there. She felt sick... Simply because she was still to weak to stand against such an enormous power. Yet she wanted to. Honestly. Sure, there will come a time when she will be ready, everyone around keeps on repeating it to her daily and oh has it made her tired from all those useless words...

Saga was not happy to hear that. Of course, how could they know? They didn't see the attacker. They didn't show up and said that they were attacking. They didn't state the reasons. And that could only mean one thing - the enemy this time was far too strong.
His thoughts were cut as Shaka spoke up. "To tell you the truth..." Saga spoke up. He was quiet for a moment then started again. "Of course the destruction of this world as we know it." Something as 'New world' was not what Saga wanted to hear or face. He hopped that this time they were not going to fight Gods.

Shaka never spoke directly. That's what sometimes made his questions a little bit harder to answer. "If I understand your question right..." Mu was quiet for a few moments, still thinking how to put all his thoughts into only a few sentences. "The biggest thread to this world would be if people lost all hope and love that they have in their hearts." Those things are the most important things to all people. Without love and hope it would be hard to survive in this world. "And then, like Saga said, the end of the world would come even sooner than anyone could ever imagine."

A chill went down Elektra's spine. Destruction of the old world, the ushering in of a new one. She had heard such ideas before. "Then what's the opposite of love and hope?" she voiced, "Hatred, fear, violence, the very things Athena has fought against for centuries." Her good hand balled into a nervous fist, wishing more than anything she could lash out and break something to calm her nerves. "The way all of you are making it sound, then the greatest threat we could possibly face would be War." All-out war, endless pain and destruction, living in fear, rivers of blood and corpses... She shook her head violently to dislodge the mental image. "Our greatest opponent, then, would be Ares."

"Get the hold of yourself" his half closed eyes were soon set on her followed by sort of strict kind of tone. even though there were some point in her words, Elektra's reaction was something that made him loose the track of his thoughts. So it is starting. Bottled up emotions were just floating in the air all over the sanctuary* "there was a story once..." there was no point in staying silent any more. "of a god... and two of his children... "after he has finally managed to calm himself down Shaka spoke in his own usual manner. "the great god called out to his children once asking for their presence... before them he laid a spear... and a shield asking them to chose but one of them. the older of them both has chosen a spear. the other one- the shield" it was but beginning of the story so ancient like the world itself, but they had to listen 'till the very end. "once the great god asked them to explain their choice, the first one said the strict order and discipline, holding the mortals in a tight grip making them shiver from fear would be the only way of gaining their respect. yet the other one wished nothing more than happiness for the ones they wanted to protect.." and it was truth. the shield that was once chosen by their kind goddess was the very same that was now a part of her sacred cloth. the very same that has decided their faith back at the very dawn of time...

Saga looked at Electra displeased. "You got something wrong here." His voice became cold. It was true that Ares was god of war, but he was not as cruel as she tried to paint him. Everyone knew that. "War is not the greatest threat to this world." He took few steps here and there. "We fought so many times already. All those battles are the mini wars. In a war you just fight, there's no place for fear. Those who fear die first." He glanced at Electra as if sealing her fate. Yet on Saga's mind was Shaka's words. There was a chance that Ares could attack, but then again why? There are other Gods. "Why blame everything on Ares..." He started once more. "Am I the only one who remembers the goddess of war Enyo? And if you are looking for something scary, try Eris the goddess of strife." He would smirk. How many god there were? And most of them were for destruction. Saga didn't care who would be the next god to fight. As long as it was not the Zeus himself.

Aioros stood in the doors of the Sanctuary. It was so strange and new to see it again, to be alive again... after all those battles here, over all the Hades invasion to the Sanctuary... it has changed a lot, but it has the same mythological aura.
Aioros was enjoying his new life, and being again with his brother, but too much had changed in his absence, so he had taken a litle travel by himself, to think and reflect. Now he was back, but... 'Something has happened...' he thought, sensing the altered cosmos of his partners.
Quickly, he started to go upstairs, looking for his partners to know the reason of all of this.

I gave you one. simple as it may be" but... wasn't Saga the one who was now trying to put the blame on someone else..? searching for a way out when things got clear already..? why is he denying the truth..? or is he still dwelling on the past? that could be truly painful. "but like i said... it's only my way of thinking.. and believe me, how I wish I was wrong" Ares... the one who doesn't like to stain his own hands... toying with the ones around him. so are they all, mere mortals, just pawns in his hands in this soon-to-be bloody game.

Mu just listened to everyones opinion trying to put everything into one place and come up with a conclusion, but the more everyone discussed, the more he was afraid that this all could lead into an argument. "There are many Gods that could attack us. And it doesn't seem this time they will show us who they are so soon." It could be that the story told by Shaka would have a big meaning this time, yet, it was still a question.

perhaps the wisest thing now would be just to stay quiet for a while even though there were so many things he wanted to say. especially to Saga. yet it would be sort of rude... it's to personal. No, not just some things, those were questions that were now bothering the saint. Why... why did Saga burst out like that just by hearing the god's name..? it wasn't a secret that some of the saints thought of him as being possessed by Ares' evil once... Shaka has served him long enough to memorize that frightening aura that was once surrounding the "Pope".. Just like most of the others... No doubt about it. Then again... those were nothing more than mere guesses...
