He looked up at her, his ears drooping slightly. "You... you know about me and Izaak, right?" he asked. "I was afraid he would be angry... that you would be... disgusted... but... he was sad..." he sighed. "I hate hurting people!" he said. "I can't stand it!" he hugged cvat for support as he tried to stand.

Cat hugged him back gently. "I over heard you two at that cabin in the woods, so I had an idea." She spoke gently, calmly. "Why would you think I would be disgusted?" she asked.

Tori sighed.
"I don't know, I just did..." he said, looking into her eyes. "I offered Izaak a place in the Rookery... and I'm pretty sure he won't even look into it. He probably doesn't even want to see me again. And Justyn is still in a coma... Izaak didn't need this now..." he sighed shakily, holding his head in his hands.

"I told Izaak I'd visit Justyn once you woke up, but I think I'll take my time on it." She still hugged him a bit. "I wish I could be more help to you Tori, but I'm really awkward in these situations. I'll do what I can though."

He sighed. "Thank you." he said. He picked up Turbine off the ground, who hugged his nose and he smiled.
"This is Turbine. I saved him from the Doctor. He seems smarter than some people." he said, setting him on the table.

Cat nodded and smiled nervously. "Yeah, we met. I'm still getting over my fear of mice, but he doesn't seem so bad. Hope he liked the crust I gave him."

Turbine crawled into the hat as soon as she said 'fear of mice'. Tori and Cat were suddenly alone again. He felt a little akward, then inhaled deeply, walking to her side and holding her close. Slowly, he kissed her neck.

He still wasn't sure how far he could go yet, the insecurity obvious on his face as he kissed her again.

She smirked, pulling away to look at him as she hugged him around the shoulders. "Are you always this apprehensive while kissing a girl?" she asked.

He smiled back. "The ones I want to keep, yes." he said softly, kissing her a little deeper this time.

He smiled, his tongue gently touching her lips. He was excited and happy and scared, all at the same time. The guilt by now had long washed away.
