Yup, now if they only accept middle-eastern people. I mean there was this wrestler named Muhammed Hassan and everytime he came out he was boo-ed when he didn't do anything. He ended up getting fired.

Well people, i think, are most racist about Middle eastern people because they are "terrorist" even though most are caucasion. (Lana i think you would like the movie "The Seige" I donno why, but when i was watching that movie i just thought you might like it....)

Maybe your right. It also could be that Pete requested to leave. It also could be that they were just trying to find a way to take him off since he isn't in the original Smallville.

I get what people are saying about Smallville. At times you do wonder what's going on with the show. Why there aren't that many races on there.
Okay I looked at some of the post in this thread and 'Chloe' was saying that Lana doesn't count in diversity since she's from Canada. I don't know if anyone addressed this, but isn't Kristin Kruek half Asian?
I don't really know if they were thinking about diversity when they created the CW. In my mind they were thinking more on the terms of money hehe. If they mix things up a little that's a plus.
I see what people are talking about when they say that people of different races will feel better about watching the shows with someone of their race. Some folks can identify with that character. I'm half white and half black and I only watched one show on the WB and I wasn't into the UPN. Does that make me a bad person? Is there something wrong with me because of what I watch. At times I felt that the UPN had a lot of shows where black people where not role models. Some show can make people think that the majority of black people out there are ignorant. It's hard to explain how I felt when I watched the shows.
Anyway they're the same channel here. They just split their time up hehe.
Sorry for ranting.
Oh when is the new season of Smallville? What date? Please don't just tell me September.
Edit: Corrected a tying error. Ooopsies.

New Season aires September 28.
Smallville actually does have diversity. SAm Jones WANTED to leave and explore his options outside of Smallville. But there are a lot of guest stars of different ethnicities. They MADE pete black, when originally his character was caucasion. Another thing most people don't know: THE ROLE OF CHLOE ULLIVAN WAS NOT MEANT TO BE FOR A CAUCASION GIRL!!!! Allison Mack in fact, was THE ONLY caucasion girl auditioning besides Kristen Belle (yes Veronica mars was considered for the role as well). Lana is half Asian, she is Asian-Canadian. In the comics she was a caucasion with red hair... they did their best to switch up ethnicities and make the show more diverse. But in the end it just seems that way. Don't blame the show... Blame the comics cool

[.dysfunctional penguin.] I know I'm like totally gonna get flamed for this, but i stand by my theory, cause i think it's true.
reason #1:The only black character with more than a 1line role is pete, but he gets cancelled off the show, then all of the other black people either get killed, for example, that guy that shakes a lot. (i'm really sorry, i forgot his name)
2:also i've noticed that all of the asain people get killed. ('cept ofr lana, or howevewr you spell her name...she doesn't count) for example, the asain scientist guy who got killed because his coworkers turned on him, and killed him when they tried to rob the luther bank thing and Mrs. kent was held hostage....another example was the doctor of ...waahhh...i can't believe i forgot his name...uhhh...the guy who lana used to date that turned out to be a spy and was dying of some disease, so he had to inject himself with stuff.....his doctor was killed, by him becuase he got mad at her and killed her with a giant rubber band. and also there was the time when they were in china and their guide person got killed....for no reason i think. sweatdrop
3:i have yet to remember any latinos. sweatdrop
4:all the native american people have died, 'cept for the old dude, the girl that turned into a wolf died, and that guy who had superman powers, that's name i also forgot. sweatdrop
so....i've been thinking about this theory for a long time and if you find any flaws, or if i missed something, or if you want to flame m,e, feel free to comment. 3nodding maybe it simply worked out that way according to filming & so forth. y does every1 have to be so judgmental of others scream

Specifically Lana is half chinese and half dutch but most people wouldn't know that from just looking at her. I guess I can blame the comics since back then there was no diversity at all which makes me kind of mad. Still, this happens now a days as well. I mean, sure you hear a lot about the 50,000 americans who lost their lives in Vietnam but you never hear about the 1.3 million Vietnamese. I was listening to this song last night about people of different diverisities coming together and being happy and stuff but the last line in the song was,"its just a dream." That is kinda sad knowing that it will never happen.

Yes we all know the world isn't perfect. If it was jerks who did bad stuff to children would be shot in the head on the spot. No courts, trials, or lawyers.
