HOGWART'S WEEKLY UPDATE!
Alrighty, I'm posting this in every single thread in the guild so if you miss it, you're awfully dim. Now I have been trying to get this puppy out for forever now. I would like to get it out by either this weekend or next. It will probably have to be next because most of my writers are only on for the weekend and that is not nearly enough time to give me your work. But I'd like to get an issue out every week after our first. This is probably why I've been postponing so much.
So, I urge anyone who is interested in writing to PM me! Because I know not all of my writers will be able to get me an article every week. It would be nice to have an abundance of writers. And, like I've posted before, I can actually pay you all now! A decent amount too! For those who are unfamiliar with the system I'll post it at the end of this post in black. I hope many of you all PM me right away with what ever you have to give me and I'll take just about anything!
Pay will go as such:
Each person will be paid 100 gold on the spot for writing, no matter how long their article is. If their article is over 100 words, however, they will receive 1 gold for every word over 100. They will also receive a 25 gold bonus for every extra article they take on. (The wages of those who do cartoons, or anything else for the paper that is not written, will be discussed with me personally) This way everyone gets paid a decent amount for writing, but those who write a bit more will be rewarded for their work.
Now this is all subject to change but only good change (I promise I'll never lower wages) Since I donated around $30 to Gaia and got around 25000 gold from selling most of my donation items. I think I'll definitely be willing to donate money to my own paper. So sign up! Full-time, part-time, or just one-time! Just tell me what you're interested in! 3nodding
But now I must stress AGAIN that this paper is not to be taken too lightly. Yes, it may be fairly easy for some to write a few paragraphs out of their head that fit in with the world of Witchcraft and Wizardry; but if you don't think you will commit to the however many minutes to think up and type up something for me should not sign up, especially if it is for the money. I strongly suggest that if money is your main reason to work for me, then you should look elsewhere to earn your gold. I am not here to pay 100 gold for 10 word articles. If I get problems like this, then I'm afraid I will have to either make a word minimum or actually interview my writers before I hire them. Something which I would not like to have to do; at least not yet, not for that reason.

I feel like such a spamer now...but how else was I suposed to get everyone's attention? I mean, not everyone goes to the big topics or their comonrooms...some just come for a quick chat. But I mean, even I have a bunch of poems and stories that I've written for fun that would never see the light of day if no one ever asked to use them. But they aren't very HP related. But if I get enough people with good work that's off topic then I think I'll do a muggle corner. With muggle work and book reviews and stuff like that, for the muggle-born students of Hogwarts. 3nodding you know... thought it sounded cool...
