Omikron was dispatching droids easily with his rifle, Sometimes he thought of it too easy but shortly disregarded and kept on shooting. The main type of droids he was seeing were regular battle droids and a superdroid here and there. The other clones from the ship were doing a great job as well, as they all kept in close proximity to each other to give cover fire all around. Omikron turned around to see a droideka and two super battledroids coming for them. "Ill take these." he said as he knelt down and brought out his rocket launcher. He took aim at the droideka's feet and gave a little grin before fireing. He didnt keep EMP rokets with him, he prefered explosives and thats just what the rocket did, explode. Omikron and the other droids ducked as rock and droid parts pelted them and when he looked up he saw that there was no more droideka.

Eta gaped at the falling half of the gunship. His hands shifted all over his body, touching on one weapon here, alighting another weapon there. My Deece 17...not enough firepower. Deece 15. In the name of the Force, no. Pistols. What the Hutt I be thinkin? Definitely not. Deece 15. Why did I bring along two of these? Knife. Who am I kidding?! Grappling cable with electrical shock capabilities. Uh. no. That leaves...the thermal detonators...And I can't lob 'em high enough so we be out of its blast range, or to catch the wreck before we be hit. Ohh they are so screwed.

He cast his desperate gaze across the ground for a weapon, any weapon, to shoot the blazing wreck out of the sky. A rocket launcher! It was as if the Force itself had guided Eta to the weapon. He scrabbled for it (the thought that this was such an undignified maneuver for an elite ARC Trooper flashed momentarily through his mind) and kneeled, aiming the huge barrel at at the smoking spiralling heap. His targeting reticules in his helmet, synching up with his arm movements and weapons, finally centered on the gunship, and he spared a glance down at the medic and the trooper he was tending to before depressing the trigger. He frowned and pressed it again. and again. Empty.

"Ohhhh...........I've got a baad feeling about this......"

Sigma wandered around the battle field, occasionally jumping up to shoot down some irritating biznatches, until he saw a new wave of droids coming out from the distance. He had to tell the rest of the troops, but most troopers had their com-channels shielded from anyone other than their squadron. Only group leaders held the Override Emergency code.
Sara!

Opening up a quick channel to Sara, he described what he saw and she gave him the override code.

"Attention all troopers, this is Sigma 777 of the JetTroops. We have enemy mechs coming in, around 500 B1s, 250 B2s, and 100 Droidekas, I estimate. There''s also around 50 spider''s coming in."

Zooming around over the battlefield, he suddenly saw an AT-PT pilot eject, only to be shot down by a Droideka. With the cockpit open, Sigma took the opportunity and situated himself in the pilot seat. Glancing at the display, he realized the shields were faulty, but everything else was primo.

Opening up a service code, which contacted Pilots and Medics, he requested a mechanic to come fix the PT, and possibly serve as a copilot.

Theta sauntered off, and randomly dodged behind rocks and boulders. The waves never really seemed to end, but Theta was more concerned about keeping himself alive more than killing the enemy. In reality, he had no way of combating them, since his shooting was far below par and the only effective thing he could do was throw, repair, or hack, and none of the possibilities were really that effective.

Theta dodged behind some more cover, just as something exploded nearby. Theta never found out what it was, but the rock he hid behind saved his life, but not much to his helmet.

Theta took off his helmet, and noticed the thing had begun to crack open.

"Great... I knew that these helmets were made in kessel, despite what those cloners say..."

He cursed under his breath, and realised this was the first time throughout the entire battle he had a chance to rest wihtout much fear from anything. Well, until paranoia set back in, but that was not for another good minute.

He was not physically the most fit person out there, and so the break came of a welcome to him. It was almost intoxicating, until he realised that he was once again, alone on the field, surrounded by enemies.

"s**t! I left my pistol back at that rock... Wherever that is..."

((I'm gone two days and 9 pages pass! gonk

I have no idea if this is still the Battle of Geonosis but either way I need to put up my part in it.))

"" the voice crackled in Clone Captain RC-2035's comm unit.

He put his hand up to the "ear" of his helmet to activate the comm. "" He responded. He changed the setting for the speakers within the hangar bay. "This is it, men. Your first real combat experience. Don't let your Republic down."

All the clones saluted in union.

"Then let's move out!"

At once, the bay doors opened. The LAAT/c Gunships, carrying AT-TE walkers and TX-130 fighter tanks, sped out and into the soon-to-be battlefield, closely followed by LAAT/i Gunships. He turned around and started marching. The rest of the clones followed suit.

And thus began the life of RC-2305

((we've moved from the arena to a new location, the Spire, which is more heavily littered with enemies than the arena))

"OUT!!! GET OUT FROM UNDER THERE!!!!" Eta Kaith bellowed from where he judged to be the limits of where the wreckage would fall. The medic finally noticed his danger and stood up partially, but it was too late. The gunship wreckage smashed down upon the medic, engulfing both him and his patient in flames and twisted metal. Kaith lowered his head and covered his visor with a gloved hand, whispering to himself again and again that this was war after all, and war contained casualties, friendly or not.

He looked up again and noticed the swarm of battledroids that had gathered while he was distracted by the medic and the gunship. Now running in a fully automatic mindset, he reached behind him and pulled out both of his DC-15s, still attached to his shoulders by shoulder straps. Eta fired in wide arcs with both weapons, demolishing a rank of battledroids before dropping both DC-15s so they hung by their straps and reaching down to repossess his trusty Deece-17, the only true Deece in his opinion. He retreated to the now-smoldering wreckage of the fallen gunship, firing armor-piercing bolts at the Super Battledroids' buffed armor. The armor-piercing bolts ripped through the silver beasts, paying no heed to the shiny reflective armor that was supposed to shield the droid against weaker fire.

"Repeat, any pilot's, please board this AT-XT, I am in need of shield repair."

Sigma messed with the controls a little and clanked the XT forward, but his inexperience with the machine didn't do much to help. He fired a few shots from the lasers at a Hailfire spider droid and blew it up, but all of a sudden the lasers started shorting out.

"Great."

Ducking behind the wreckage, Eta ejected his spent cartridge and slapped a new one in place on his Deece. He turned and saw, at waist level, the barrel of a dwarf Spider droid pointed straight at him. Eta jutted out his arm and activated the weak mini-flamethrowers that were embedded in his armor. The barrel of the dwarf Spider warped under the heat and pointed down at the ground. Eta grinned and picked up the droid, heaving it around the wrecked gunship and letting the battledroids on the other side of it have a field day shooting down their own ally.

Now, Eta had time for a breather. He looked around his eyes caught sight of an exploding Hailfire droid. Looking around for the source of the blaster fire that destroyed the Hailfire, he spotted a damaged AT-XT lumbering about. It seemed to have trouble with its cannons- the barrels kept sparking as if the pilot was trying to fire but the gun was jamming. Eta ran towards the AT-XT, reaching to his helmet to open a comm channel.

"Theta! Remember me? I need you to get over here pronto, I have a damaged AT-XT in my sights that needs..." Eta listened in on the AT-XT's communication signals, and repeated what he heard to Theta. "The AT-XT needs shield and gun repair!"

(theta's com channels are down, if nobody noticed that his helmet is split in half from a nearby explosion... That's if anyone's noticing)

Theta heard another explosion, nearby, and ducked as rocks, debris, and all sorts of nasty stuff flew overhead. He was definately in a place that he didn't enjoy, and this time it wasn't in his head either.

He crawled as fast as he could, switching to a crouched run whenever there seemed to be less fire, though in Theta's mind, that was few and sparse, and he needed to move anyway.

He crawled over to another clone, dead on the field. It wasn't the greatest, but Theta snatched some grenades, and stole the visor. It was a normal visor, no pilot markings, nothing but standard infanty, and the com channels were flooded with chatter, as somehow the transciever had been jarred and was no longer able to single out one frequency, but instead played all of them. Theta turned it off, and scrambled around to and fro, until he got to another bit of red rock cover.

Theta was genuinely lost right about now, as the planet all looked the same after a while, though somehow, he had managed to scurry far beyond what he wanted. He noticed that he no longer was on the front line, but more forward and to the side, as if an onlooker. here the droid cover was more sparse, as Theta started to feel the first begging nag of thirst come over him.

They're beginning their retreat, he thought to himself, but the battle would still last for some time.

Theta decided, against all of his better judgement, to head back towards the frontline. He may be needed there, though he wasn't enthusiastic about his concious suddenly going hero on him.

((in case anyone needs to know, once the Spire is secure, the last leg of the mission will be to destroy an seperatist ships trying to leave))

((oh yeah. I forgot about Theta''s helmet split. I kinda wrote that without thinking. Oh well.))

Eta frowned. Theta wasn''t coming in. That could only mean one of two things- his comm was knocked out, or the trooper was dead. It was war after all. Eta picked his way over to the AT-XT over all the debris and fallen bodies on the field.

Sigma lumbered around in reverse inside the XT, and saw a soldier running across the field towards him.

"Hey trooper, you gone crazy??"

Eta merely grinned and saluted the pilot when he heard him speak. He ran along-side it and, using his Deece, punched a hole through a dwarf Spider droid that was trying to shoot off one of the XT's legs.

"Mebbe I be crazy, runnin around like this. But not suicidal- everybody wants to live right? But while there's enemies to kill," Eradicus paused to shoot down a battle droid that was raising its rifle, "I make sure that none of the enemies live so we be the survivors in de end."

"Nice philosophy. You know how to work these things?"

Eta's grin warped into a concerned look. The pilot didn't know how to work the XT? Uh-oh. Looked like he'd really have to watch out for the XT.

"No, can't say I do. Need a mechanic or anything?" Eta dialed up a comm line used by the ARCs, ready to radio in for a mechanic or replacement pilot, whomever the trooper in the XT needed.
