Well...haven't seen Maq in about two weeks now. I miss him, and still want to know what he had planned. I hope it's good. I miss being touched by him...that felt good. That bit of flesh behind my ear...I still tingle when I think about it. It felt so..right, I guess is the word I'm looking for. I wish I could see him soon.

October 23, 4:26PMQuote: With lazy, swooping strokes, Maq flew in the direction of Aria's home, retracing the path from memory. It seemed like nearly forever since he had last visited; then again, in the life of a Feien, it nearly was. As he neared, he scanned the surrounding area, wondering if he'd spot her outside again, or if he would need to knock at the door. Aria was actually outside on the front lawn, watering the plants Ianios had planted. It wasn't too hard, the water was coming out at a trickle, and she'd move from plant to plant at her own pace. She dropped the hose, heading back to turn off the water, her eyes spied something red heading towards her. Once closer, she grinned, and rushed to greet the familar Feien, forgetting all about the hose. "Maq!" "Aria!" he called out in response, a broad grin crossing his face. Maq drew his wings out to help lessen the blow that would be her crashing into his wide armed embrace. Aria flew right into his arms, slowing down not to crash into him. She was grinning from ear to ear. "You came!" She cried, wrapping her arms tight around him in a hug. "I've been missing you!" "Sorry, sweets." He wrapped his arms around her, pulling her close against him. "Things have been busy at Trio's, or I'd have been here sooner. Forgive me?" The rakish gleam in his eyes proved that he already knew she would. She nodded, her eyes shining. "Of course!" She giggled, glancing back at the house. "We're alone, you know. Rynn took Ian with her to check out some more plants." "Are we now?" He moved his head closer to hers, nearer to her ear. "So who's looking after you?" Aria smirked, glancing at him. "Just you, I suppose," her voice went low, the sparkle in her eyes getting brighter it seemed. No sign that she was against this; hell, she could always tell him to stop at any point. He dipped his head down to inhale the scent of her hair briefly, before burrowing in to nuzzle at her ear. Aria smelt like the sea, he'd note. She shivered, clearly enjoying this. She enjoyed his touching her ear last time, and now...oh..it was sending shivers up and down her spine. Her wings even flexed a bit. He finished his nuzzle with a soft n** of his teeth against her earlobe, before pulling back and smiling. "Guess you didn't mind that..." "How's this for starters?" She smiled, moving up to look him in the eyes. Hers were glittering, and she kissed him full on the lips, hard. Her hands wandered over his back, rubbing down his shoulder, to his wings. She shivered, the electric tingle coursing through her as he brushed over the base of her wings. That too was a good spot, she noted. Her hands slipped down to where his wings met his back, rubbing there gently. She was liking his responses. She tried to rumble as she had heard Rynn do, but nothing came out. So instead she moaned into the kiss. She didn't wanna break it, she was enjoying it way too much. Who knew a simple kiss brought so much pleasure? Maq deepened the kiss, then pulled back just enough to be able to nibble at her lips, his fingertips exploring the skin of her back, the other hand maneuvering around to her hip. Aria moaned softly, breaking the kiss. It felt way good, but they were outside...and who knew when Rynn would get back. She smirked at him, dropping one hand to his waist, rubbing it gently with her fingertips. "I can see why Ian would have needed to have left." He gazed down at her, orange eyes enflamed. His voice was a husky growl when he spoke. "That's not even the half of it, Blue Eyes." She looked up, a slight blush to her cheeks. "What's the other half then?" she asked. She knew of course, her fingers making odd patterns on his skin. "I get the feeling you might know..." He began to dip his head towards her ear again, knowing that to be a much more productive place for his mouth to be than on her lips. Aria smirked slightly. She really wanted him to nuzzle her ear again, but Rynn could come home at anytime. And she might not like seeing what they were doing. "Maq...maybe we ought to go elsewhere first...just in case..." "Ah. Of course." He nodded briefly, then swept her up in his arms. Lifting off the ground, he grinned down at her. "Just point the way." She giggled. Now this was new! Alright, where was safe to go? She took a moment, snuggling down into his arms. She knew Ian had a hideout, but it wasn't anywhere close by. Out further in the woods might be good. "That way," she said, pointing out back of the house. "We can be alone back there." He nodded, then started flying in that direction, setting a nice little clip. Not too fast; after all, he didn't want it to be too terribly apparent how eager he was for this. Aria giggled, looking for a nice spot on which to land. Somewhere soft, and not too far to get lost, but far enough to remain hidden. Spying some moss at the base of a tree a good bit away from the house, but still having it within sight, she pointed. "Down there, that looks nice." "Sure thing." He dropped down into a spiral, twirling dizzily as he approached the ground. At the very last possible moment, he drew up, whipping his wings out and catching them both for a soft, if stomach dropping, landing. She laughed, hanging onto his arm as he landed. That was fun! "Perfect," she said, snuggling to him. "Now we can continute where we left off, without worry." He lowered himself to his knees first, settling her in his lap, before resuming the nuzzling that had been interrupted earlier. Aria sighed, leaning back against him. Hmm..this was most definately nice. She didn't want it to end. Her hand dropped down, rubbing his leg, her foot playing with his. Her other hand went back behind his head, running her fingers through his hair. It was soft, very soft. Ad he was warm, but that had to be because he was a heat Feien. "Hm...wanna stay right here with you, Maq," Aria whispered. He moved his mouth so that his words would be little more than hot breath in her ear, "That's what I had in mind all along." Aria shivered as his words brushed over her ear. Her fingers curled around his hair, her whole body tingling. She imagined this was what Rynn felt around Naaro, and she didn't want it to stop, even when she heard Rynn's voice. They were back, but she wasn't about to give away their spot. This was way too nice. "Hmm..." she moaned softly. Maybe Rynn or Ian wouldn't come looking... ((Snagged from Tera's diary with permission.))

Oct 24 (After Ianios arrived home)
Ianios flew into the house, the thoughts of a Halloween party playing in his head. He had no idea what he could be, or even if Rynn could possibly make costumes that small. But as he went into the bedroom, the sound of a sob caught his ear. Aria. Oh dear.
He flew towards her, seeing her blue hair poking out above her pink and white sheet on her bed. Gently he landed beside her bed, putting his hand out onver her back. "Sis?"
Aria looked up, her blue eyes red. "What is it?" she asked, wiping her nose with the small bit of tissue.
"Don't be all down. Everyone was busy. They weren't ignoring you on purpose." It was the truth. He was certain it was, judging the way everyone seemed to have someone to talk too. It was hard to talk to three people at once.
"It seemed that way."
Ian shook his head. "No no, it wasn't that way. Honest. Come on, cheer up. There was talk of a Halloween party Saturday. Maybe Rynn can make us costumes."
Aria blinked, wiping her eyes. "Halloween party? That sounds like fun."
Ianios grinned, nodding. "Yeah, so cheer up, and lets go ask Rynn if she can make us costumes!"
She nodded, blowing her nose. She tossed back her sheet and got up. "Race you," she said, flying pass Ian, while dropping her tissue into the wastebasket nearby.
He laughed, giving chase. At least she was back to normal!

Arith huffed a bit as she walked down to the house. Her wings were not at par due to the molting, so a few obvious white feathers fell behind her. Making it to the door, she set down the parcel and wiped her forehead, chuckling a bit at the progress she made. Settling another note down, she got Nerpin to come up and ring the doorbell, as they both ventured off to her last desination of the night. The Note reads: Hey Ia!
It's been more than a month since we decided to grow gardens, and my blooms finally were able to be picked - so I decided to bring the one that reminds me the most of ya.
I hope you enjoy them!

This Morning Ianios flew to the shop, wanting to see what if anything was new for sell in the shop. Once there, he spied another gemstone in the window. Odd, he thought. I thought they'd all been sold off. He flew in closer, trying to study it. It was a red stone, and very pretty. For some reason it reminded him of Cel. It had been a while since he seen him. Flying inside the shop, he went over to the stone, touching it. It was warm. Ianios smiled, again reminded of his Celaien. A piece of paper underneath the gemstone caught his eye. Fluttering lower, Ianios slowly read over the information written there. A piercing, heartbroken wail issued forth from the green feien. Written on the piece of paper was Celaien's name. His beloved had turned into a gemstone! Ian hugged the gem to his chest, silent tears rolling down his face. Aria had a gem, but this wasn't the same, he knew it. Hers...they didn't know that feien. But this...this was Cel! His Cel! No...it couldn't be true...it just couldn't. Ianios pulled away from the stone, rubbing his eyes. The sunlight made the gem sparkle. "I'll do whatever I can to merge with you, Cel. I..." Ianios' voice broke as he caressed the gemstone. "I love you." He leaned over, kissing the stone gently. With an extremely heavy heart, Ianios flew to the door. Taking one last look back at Cel's stone, he waved goodbye, heading towards his den to sob.

"Aria, where's Ian?" Rynn asked, coming back inside from fixing dinner.
Aria looked up from the race. She blinked and realized she hadn't seen him ina long while. "Ian went to the shop this morning. I thought he had come back by now."
"What time was this?"
"Around 10 am or so..." Aria looked at Rynn, concerned. "You think something might have happened to him?"
Rynn shrugged. "I don't know....but I'm worried. Aria, will you go to the shop, see if there's there?"
Aria nodded. "Knowing Ian, there was probably someone there and he's been chatting." She smirked. "I'm sure that's it."
"Perhaps." Rynn nodded. That would be Ian. "Still, go check for me? Tell him dinner's nearly ready."
Aria got up, nodding. "Will do!"
************************************************************* Aria flew to the store, the lights on like normal. There was another gemstone in the window, sparking red with a hint of amber. Black lines ran through it. Aria flew inside, flying over to the gemstone. She looked at it, then glanced at the paper it was sitting on.
"Oh my..." Her hand went to her mouth. It was Celaien. She had promised him they wouldn't let him vanish...but he had. He had died. Had Ianios seen this?
She touched the stone. It was still warm...and wet? She tasted the liquid on her fingers. Salty, like tears. Oh my...he had. She spun around, calling out into the seemingly empty shop. "Ianios?" she cried, upset a bit herself.
There was no answer. She knew Ian would be heartbroken, in mourning. And it'd be worse than when she found out Nigel was missing. "IAN!" she screamed, her voice echoing within the shop. Still, no answer.
Bolting outside, she looked around wildly. "IAN!" Aria screamed again, hoping to hear her brother call back to her. "IANIOS!!" Tears dripped down her face. What would he do?
************************************************************* In his den, Ianios heard his sister's call. Had she seen Cel now? From the sound of it, she had. She was crying out to him. He could hear the hurt in her voice, but it couldn't match his own. His heart was broken, shattered. The one he knew he had wanted, the one he held so dear, was gone. She had others. He had no one.
There was her scream again. She sounded so defeated. Ianios hugged his knees to his chest, the tears flowing fleely down his cheeks. He thought about calling to her, but he wanted to be alone for now. He just wanted to cry freely.
"IAN!" There she was again. Finally he could stand it no longer. He got up, crawling out of his den. Flying straight to her, her back turned to him, he glomped her, wrapping his arms around her tight. They started to tumble, but Ian buzzed his wings hard, keeping them afloat. "Aria..." His voice was harsh.
Aria turned her head, her own eyes watering. "Ianios...I saw..."
Ianios nodded. He couldn't say anything, all he could do was hold her. It hurt so much. His beloved....gone...
Aria turned in his arms, holding him, rubbing his back. "Oh bro...I'm so sorry..." She sighed, feeling Ian relax a bit. "He didn't want to vanish...I told him we wouldn't let him..."
"But he did." Ianios sighed, speaking softly. "He died..." Suddenly he let go of her, buzzing back. "He died and it's all my fault!"
Aria blinked. "What...? Ian...how could that be your fault?"
The plant Feien sighed, letting himself drop to the ground. "I don't know!" he wailed, burying his face in his hands again. Sobs racked his body.
Aria landed, wrapping her arms around her brother again, rocking him, holding him tight. She didn't know what to do, so she rubbed his back, letting him cry. She knew Rynn was worried about them, being out and all, but she'd would have to wait. "Oh Ian...Maybe Rynn will buy the stone. Maybe she can bring him back..."
Ianios looked up, his blue eyes red. His cheeks were puffy, and streaked. "She will, if she knows. She'll try."
Aria nodded. "Of course she will. She loved him too. Come, dinner is ready. We can tell her over dinner."
Ianios nodded, slowly getting to his feet. "Alright...lets go home..."

Nov 7 (After the Feien got home.)
"I'll do my best to get that stone," Rynn said, setting the table. "Don't worry, Ian."
Ianios nodded, sighing. His heart was heavy, very heavy. He pulled out his chair at the doll table, sitting down. Aria sat across from him, reaching over and patting his hand. He gave her a slight smile. "I...I never wanted a stone...but I have to have this one. If we can't bring Cel back...I want to merge with him. "
Rynn nodded, giving the two their dinner. It was a couple of bites of rib and a french fry cut up. "Alright, Ian. I had hoped to see you two have blooms, but if he can't return, then I will not stop you from merging. I know how much you loved him."
"Thank you." Ianios picked at the rib, not really wanting to eat. He wasn't really all that hungry.
Aria watched her brother, feeling his sadness like it was her own. Celaien had been her friend too. How would they get through if they didn't get the stone? What if someone else did, and merged with it? Or if that person never brought Cel back? Or if they did...would he even remember them? Would that bond be there? It made Aria's head hurt.
Rynn watched her Feien, wondering how Celelorien was handling it. She knew she herself would be so upset she wouldn't know what to do. Looking up as the door open, she smiled to Naaro. "Hi," she said softly.
Naaro looked to Ian and Aria, lifting an eyebrow. Neither was eatting. Back to Rynn. [What's going on? Something wrong with them?] he asked.
Rynn nodded. She had never taught her feien her native language. [Celaien turned into a gemstone.]
Naaro sat down as Rynn went to get him dinner. [Gemstone? Is that what they do to grow up?] He scratched his head. If that is what happened when they go to grow up, why were these two so down in the dumps?
[No, love. That's what happens when they die.]
Naaro startled. No wonder they were depressed looking, picking at their dinner. "I'm sorry," he said gently to Aria and Ianios.
Ian nodded to the male, and got up. His dinner hadn't been touched. "Excuse me...I wanna go to bed." With a nod from Rynn, he flew out of the room.
Naaro looked to Rynn, watching out of the corner of his eye watching Aria pick at her food. "Where's Liliana?"
Rynn chuckled. "She's too engrossed in a book, so I let her eat in the bedroom."
"She'll not bother Ian, will she??" Aria asked, looking up in alarm.
Rynn shook her head. "No, love. Lily will leave him be. Come, eat. It'll be good for you."
Aria nodded, taking a small bite. It was good, it was, but like her brother, she wasn't that hungry. "May I be excused?"
Rynn nodded. "Sure."
Aria got up, flying back to the bedroom. Ianios had curled up in his bed, crying again softly. She went over, lifted the cover and crawled into bed with him. Ianios rolled over, hugging her to him, sobbing into her shoulder. She noticed Lily flying over and shook her head. Lily nodded, returning to her books. The Pixelpets all came over, some hopping onto the bed, rubbing Ian and Aria, purring, offering their comfort.

Private RP Ianios landed on the park bench in the middle of the small park near Nerpin's dorm. He hoped Arith would arrive soon. He had so much to talk to her about...namely Celaien. He looked around, hoping to spy the white feien. He was so upset, so torn over Cel's becoming a gemstone. And Arith was one he trusted. He didn't think any of the others would understand. Waltzing through the park, Arith came fully ready to tackle anything related to height. That is.. for climbing anyways. With her cloak draped over her not-so-perfect wings - she looked around for the feien who had asked of her recently, hoping to spot the taller feien. Ianios blinked, seeing Arith headed his way. But she was walking? Why? "Arith!" he cried, waving to her. He flew down, landing on the ground. He rushed over, hugging her tightly. "Thank you for coming...I needed to talk to someone so bad..." A loud seething sound came between the younger feien's teeth as Ianios attempted to seek comfort with her. Any other given day she would have accepted it, but tonight was an exception. The poor feien stiffened up and did an elegant dance, quickly exiting the tight hug that Ianios had jumped on her, frowning softly a bit, but allowing that to slip quietly, opening the cape slightly to check the damage made to her allready wrecked feathered plumes. Looking to Ianios carefully, she sighed lightly and shook her head, giving him a worried glance - her pain wasn't as important right now as his problem at hand, and tilted her head softly. "I heard something wrong had come down the last few days, and it seems to have taken a toll on you. So what's been up dear Ia?" She inquired, curious and slightly worried about the dishevelled look on him. Ianios heard the hissing sound from Arith, and when she pulled back, he looked her over. Had he hurt her? He hadn't meant too. Lord...that's all he was good for. He hurt others, now he was broken himself. He sighed, sitting down under the bench. The night air was cool, stirring his hair. It felt nice, almost like Cel was ruffling it. He looked to her, willing himself not to cry. Everything was reminding him of his beloved Celaien. "Celaien died...that's his gemstone in the window at the shop..." he finally said, feeling totally broken. Seeing the reaction on poor Ianios' face as she slowly had backed away startled Arith a bit. Looking down at the long cloak around her shoulders, she just whispered a "Don't worry, you didn't hurt my intentionally. It's complicated, sorry Ia." with a shuffle of her feet. She felt bad about aching at a time of need, but she lifted her head again to view the younger feien as he muttered his morose. "I had heard that we lost a feien in the neighbourhood, but I truely did not expect it to be Celaien..." she stated as she slowly put a hand on the shoulder of the younger - yet taller - green hued feien. "Sounds like your taking it really badly dear.." Ianios looked up at Arith, blinking. "How would you feel if it had been someone you loved deeply?" he snapped. " It wasn't a fling with him...it had deepen since I let him decide. We enjoyed each other's company, just being together, not talking was so nice..." He sighed, bringing his knees up, holding them and dropping his head. "None of you know what it's like...to lose someone you love..." He groaned, rocking slightly as if in pain. "Slight chance of getting him back, but that's up to the gods, if there is any..." The tears flowed freely again. He had sought comfort but it seemed like a bad idea now. Aria did all she could, but it wasn't enough. Would there ever be? Arith looked away briefly as the younger feien had a minor explosion in her direction, a result of the honest and harmless statement. She gave a grave sigh, attempting to forget about the gap of time she had to endure between seeing the feien closest to her, and decided to sit next to Ianios. "It's not as uncommon as you think, my dear Ia - missing the one who you cherish the most." she stated as she draped the long cloak off her back, exposing her damaged and distressed wings, with feathers missing everywhere. Wincing slightly, she lifted them to a point before sitting down, draping the cloak on her wings and back again, giving a sigh as she looked over to him once more. " I know a few feien who have lost what they once loved dear, your not the only one. But your situation really sounds like it aches deep inside." she stated as-a-matter-of-factly, but her emerald eyes said more as she took some of her cloak to wipe his face of tears. " You need.. maybe to get out into the world.. take a small 'finding yourself' journey - away from the feien - like Shux did. You may feel at ease when you come back - with or without Cel..." she trailed off, before finishing, putting the cloak down, "He was your one and only, possibly, but because he's gone - does not mean that he isn't watching over you anymore hun.. even without the gem. You may even find someone again.. you shouldn't just forget about love and caring for others.. would Cel want that?" she posed to him, feeling for him deeply. "I know...but how many have seen their loved ones after they've died?" Ianios asked honestly. He looked over to Arith, his sapphire eyes searching her face. "Others can miss their loved ones, but they can go back and see them...I go to see Cel...and find..." He trailed off, rubbing his fists into his eyes. Would she ever know how much it hurt? How it felt to have your heart torn from your chest, the ache that hurt so much, that you'd do anything to end it? Somehow he doubted it. Her cloak was soft as she wiped away tears, and he could briefly see her wings. She was molting, something thankfully he never had to go through. He was sorry she was, she had pretty wings. Pretty wings like Celaien had. Thinking of the heat Feien made him sigh again. Arith's words rang in his head. A 'finding himself' journey. He wouldn't even know where to begin. As for finding himself without Cel...he didn't know if he could bare that. It wouldn't be right, like he had forgotten him. He never wanted to forget him, he couldn't dishonor his memory like that. But Cel wouldn't want him not to care for others, it was his very nature. But as for finding love...Ian had no idea if he could again. Would Cel even want him too? Fresh tears rolled down his cheeks again, his mind mulling over such. It hurt to think on Cel, and he didn't want to forget him. But loving another was such a big step. He didn't know if he'd ever be able too. "I guess not, but Arith..." He trailed off, using his hands to wipe his face of the tears before they dripped off his chin. "I don't know if I could love another." At least he was honest. It would be dishonoring his memory, in Ian's eyes. Arith gave a tiny chuckle at the younger feien's statement "It's been said that some do see the spiritual remains of the ones they really loved, but that's not really possible" she stated, shaking the thought away as she heard the next sentance "I doubt it's possible sometimes, like forbidden loves and whatnot." Looking over to him, she shook her head softly at the pitiful view she had of him. Here was a strong feien - or as strong as she could remember - broken down to a curled up wreck, due to the loss of a loved one. This was her first time in the situation, but she was determined to help him if she could. No one should think wrongly about themself. "I think.. even though your probably thinking against it, you should take the break I instigated dear Ianios.. the loss of Cel has taken quite a toll on you, and I think you need a break from the commune." she started, looking at the sidewalk from the spot that the two feien were residing in. "I don't mean to sound harsh or forceful, but I'm saying this as a friend. I know you hurt so much because of Cel's passing - but I think it would be more of an insult for you to stop loving and caring about feien in the future like you did Cel." she started, offering her cloak once more towards him, smiling a bit as she looked off again, "You loved Cel, and he died due to reasons not pertaining to you. Now you obviously hurt deep down inside.. but I think Cel would feel right if you found someone who made you happy.. once more. It would be saddening to his soul if you just sulked about a lost love, and shut yourself off completely dear. It would just be wrong to deny future possibilities.." She finished, with a nod. No one should deny love, even if it wronged them once prior. Ian nodded. What she said made sense. A lot of sense. Celaien wouldn't want him to hurt forever, he realized. But a break...he wouldn't even know where to go. And how would he find himself? Could he force himself to stay away? He leaned on Arith when she offered the cloak. He listened to her words, weighting them inside. Part of him knew she was right, but the other half felt like he'd betray Cel if he ever found another to love. Would Celaien want him to love again? Would it make him happy? Or jealous? Death had cheated them out of each other, their future. Ianios' head hurt, trying to figure out what Cel would have wanted. Ian knew if he had passed, he would want Cel to move on, find another to love, to cherish. And slowly Ian was realizing Cel would have wanted the same. He had let Ian go to decide between him and Nero. And he had come back to Celaien. "I guess you're right..." Ianios looked to his friend, trying to smile slightly for her. "But Arith, I don't want to forget Cel...ever..." Arith have a half smile as she nodded, looking up at the darkened overcast sky, the same sky that's been around the city for the last few days. Hearing the statement from Ianios, she shook her head, and was reminded of something that the real Nerpin had told her during the summer when they went to see him and his girl. "A wise man told me once, that you never can forget your first love." she started, looking to him, carefully, " It's almost impossible - you can try, but your mind always rewinds to the first person you cherished as something higher than a friend.." she then have a breathed chuckle "Of course that wise man was happy his first ex was gone.. but that's not what's important.. what's important is Cel will ALWAYS have a place deep in your heart - even if you find someone who you cherish, even if it's more than Cel." She finished, nodding sagely. Ianios nodded. Of course what her wise man said made sense. He knew Cel would remain in his heart. "Thank you, Arith," He said softly, slipping his arm under her cloak, under her wings to hug her gently. "I knew you'd help me." He blushed slightly. "Sorry about snapping at you..." He hadn't meant too, but at the time it felt right. And he hoped she knew it was in the heat of the moment that caused him to do it. He smiled at her. "It's getting late, perhaps we should head home." Giving the younger feien a light pat on the head, she stood up, looking out athe the long walk she was about to take, nodding to him. " It would be a wise plan - seeming as I have to walk all the way back to my house.. which may take me awhile." Looking down at him, she nodded and gave a minut wave "Don't forget what I said Ia.. I'll see ya around" and she was off. Ianios watched Arith go, getting up himself. He wished her a safe journal home, then turning, flew home himself, thoughts of the whole conversion flowing through his mind. Ianios arrived home not too long after leaving Arith and the park, settling down on his bed in the bedroom. All sorts of thoughts ran through his head. Perhaps that "finding himself" journey might be a good idea. Cel would not want him to mourn forever...would he? Sighing, the green Feien layed back across his bed. Where could he go? And what exactly would he find? Would he even like what he found? Too many questions for one so young. He might have been grown, but he wasn't that old. "I can't dishonor your memory, Cel..." he said out loud. Luckly, no one was in the room. He had seen them all in the living room when he buzzed by, pixalpets included. "What do I do, Cel?" he cried out, staring up at the ceiling, like the answer he sought could be found there. "I miss you...I want you back...but Arith said...you know what she said. I sensed you there. That breeze...that was you, I know it to be. You've not abandoned me. And I don't want you thinking I've abandoned you either, cause I haven't. I couldn't. But I want...need your blessing!" Fresh tears rolled down his cheeks. Would the tears ever stop? He closed his eyes, trying to stop from sobbing when he felt a gentle hand caressing his cheek. Opening his eyes, he saw Aria, smiling sadly but gently at him. "Ian....it'll be alright. Cel loved you, I knew that. I saw it. He would give you his blessing for nearly anything. Trust me." Ianios nodded, sitting up, wrapping Aria in his arms. "I know, sis, I know he would. Arith said I should go find myself...that I'm not at ease anymore with Cel's passing. Maybe she is right...but I dunno if I can find peace without Celaien."Aria nodded, gently rubbing her brother's back. " It's understandable, as his passing was recent. But with time...it should get easier."Ianios held Aria back at arm length, eyeing her. "How do you know? Aria, you don't know what it's like to lose someone you love!"Aria's gentle, sad face turned to anger within a instant. " Ian...I assure you, I do know what it's like to lose someone I love!" Her voice was icy, her saphire eyes glittering coldly at him. "Have you forgotten Nigel? Fionn? Both vanished without a word...I myself are not sure that they still live. I...I have tried to move on, hoping for word...at least you have something to vist!"Aria words stung Ian and he was sorry. He had forgot in his grief, she was like him. Finding love, only to lose it somehow. Hanging his head, he closed his eyes, breathing deeply. "Forgive me, sister...it is still so hard..."A hand went under his chin, lifting his head up. Blue eyes stared into blue. "You are forgiven, brother. As I am sure Celaien loved you deeply as I do. I can not hold anger with you. I love you, like he did. Faults and all."He nodded, sighing once more. "I know he did...but to love another...it's like betraying his memory.""Cel would want you to move on one day, Ianios. You can not dwell forever in the past, what could have been." Both Feien looked over. Rynn stood in the doorway. "I learnt that the hard way...with Naaro. Just as I thought I was over him, having let go, something would remind me of him. It will be the same for you, but time eases the hurt. He'll always be a part of you.""But Naaro came back to you."Rynn nodded. "That he did. And I know one day, Cel will return to you. Maybe not as Cel, but as another. You'll find someone." Ianios nodded. "I suppose...but right now, may I be alone? I want to think.""Come, Aria." Rynn beckoned to the blue hued Feien. Aria flew to her bondmate and they left Ian, who layed back on his bed, closing his eyes while deep in thought.

Rynn Ianios flew into the shop, settling down beside the gemstone in the window. The sun was warm, making the gem sparkle. Ian went to it, hugging it. His eyes watered as he held the warm stone, kissing it gently. "Oh Celaien..." he whispered to it, a tear splashing down on top. "How I miss you..." He left go of the gemstone, sitting down to look at it. Only a couple of days had past, but still, his pain was fresh as the moment he had seen it was his beloved. One small hand caressed the gemstone, Ian wishing it was warm flesh instead. He sniffed, deciding to talk to the stone like Cel could hear him. And maybe, in some small way, he could. "Rynn said she'd try and get you for me, when the shop decided to sell you, or raffle you. Or whatever they do. I want to bring you back, Cel, I really do. I miss you so much! I even had a dream about you. Are you happy where you are, love? Is there light, joy, happiness, there? There isn't here for me. I can do nothing but cry. " He sighed, glancing to his hands, then back to the stone. "I wish you hadn't died!" He wailed, flinging himself at the stone again, hugging it to him. Rynn Ianios let go of the gemstone finally, having sobbed a bit into it. He leaned back, rubbing his eyes. He didn't want to leave the gemstone here. But he couldn't take it home. Gods, he wanted this gem badly...he'd do anything to have it. He gently rubbed the surface of the gemstone, sighing softly. How he missed Cel. He wanted no one else, only Cel. He didn't know a lot of the others, but he knew none could compare to his Cel. Hell, he had even made Nero uncomfortable...but Cel...Cel had never been uncomfortable around him. Neruo seemed to be alright around him, but he saw him as a friend. There were no others. Ianios caressed the gemstone, closing his eyes. He started drifting off, picturing what could have been. Magiale Thank goodness for trees! Without them, Raphael was sure he'd catch on fire, or overheat, or something. Winter was coming, but it'd be nice if it would come a little faster. Just a little bit. He turned a sharp corner to enter through the open window and sighed with relief when he landed in the nice, cool shop. Thankfully, no one was there! No need for embarassment today! Or was there? He looked up sharply, and glanced around...hmmm, nope, no one- Eep! Raph nearly jumped when he saw another feien, an adult, no less, with his head on a...what was that? Raphael didn't want to awaken or otherwise annoy the green feien, but he was curious. What was that...umm...red thing? He carefully stepped around the adult and crouched down to take a closer look at the stone, examining the cracks of black and the blotches of yellow. He could almost see his reflection in it. He wondered vaguely what it felt like, and in response his hand reached out and attempted to find out, touching the stone lightly. The hand quickly drew away. The gem wasn't particularly hot, but it was warm enough to make Raphy a little uncomfortable. He scooted a little ways away from it and decided to stare instead. Rynn Ianios opened his eyes, having fell into an exhausted sleep. He looked at the gemstone, seeing another Feien reflected in the shiny surface. Turning, he gave the newcomer a slight smile. "Howdy," he said softly. He didn't want to frighten him, though he probably looked like hell. Magiale Raphael almost jumped for the third time that day but quickly controlled himself. The other feien was awake! Eeeh! He blushed, as he usually did around other feien, but still managed a smile. "H-hi..." he stuttered. Involuntarily, he backed up a bit. "I-I didn't wake you up, did I?" Rynn Ianios shook his head. "Not at all." He glanced back to the gemstone, then back to the yellow Feien. That was a new color to him. "I'm Ianios...the gemstone here is Celaien." Was Celaien didn't sound right, and Ian vowed never to say it as such. "What's your name?" He was curious anout this newcomer. He seemed shy, so Ian wouldn't make any sudden moves. Magiale "Raphael," he replied, glad that he hadn't been the one to wake up the other feien. He remembered vaguely what Magiale had said about introductions, and said a polite "N-nice to meet you, Ianios." And then turned his attention to the gemstone again. Hm. A stone had a name? That seemed a little unusual, he thought, but then again, his ice cube had a name too! Kinda. Sorta. Well, not really. The name Celaien sounded familiar too, but he couldn't quite remember where he'd heard it before. Rynn Ianios smiled. "Sorry about my appearance, been a bad last few days." And wasn't likely to get better, he figured. "Come, sit. I won't bite you." He hoped to make the other a little more comfortable. He patted the gemstone. "I see you're interested in Cel here. He was once a Feien like us...but he died..." Ian's voice trailed off. It hurt still..and he didn't like thinking Cel was really gone. And he didn't want to upset the younger one. "Anyway," Ian said, trying to brighten a bit. "What brings you to the shop?"Magiale Died? Oh. Raphael gave a slight frown at that news, but it didn't really upset him. He didn't truly understand what death was, after all, though from Ianios' state he figured it was bad. So he didn't say any more on the subject. He obediently sat down a little bit closer to the other feien, though still a comfortable distance away from the gem, pondering the question. "F-fresh air..." He mumbled as he sneezed on the dust. His hand rubbed at his nose. Boy, he was a horrible liar. Rynn Ianios nodded. "It is nice out, I admit. But winter's coming...I don't like the cold much. I'm a plant Feien. I perfer warmth, like the summer. What element are you?" He was making a good attempt to engage the other in a conversion. Maybe it might make him a little more comfortable. Ian wasn't shy, but he didn't want to make the other upset or anything. Magiale Raphael considered for a moment. What was his element again? It was either ice, or...what was that other one? Oh! "Cold," he replied, a blush coming on his face again. What if he was wrong? Oh well. "I-I don't really...umm, like warm things that much..." The blush deepened. What if Ianios didn't like him because he liked cold things? He decided not to mention that fact. "Um...the summer's nice..." was his own pitiful attempt at conversation. Honestly, he wasn't even really sure what summer was like, considering he'd been born during fall. Rynn Ianios smirked. "You blush as easily as I do." Even saying that caused Ian to blsuh. " I've met other cold Feiens, and so far, all of you are nice. And that's understandable of you don't like warm things." He glanced to Cel's gemstone. "Cel here is a heat Feien, so he didn't like cold." He smirked slightly, patting the stone. He glanced at Raphael, a twinkle in his blue eyes. "You don't know what summer is. I can tell. Summer is hot. I was born in summer. Winter will suit you better." He wasn't being mean, but honest. He glanced to the clock on the wall. It was getting late. "Well, Raphael, I need to get going. Celaien here won't bug you if you decide to stay." He stood up and bending over, he kissed the gemstone gently, whispering to it. Then he stood up. "Goodnight, Raphael. Hope to see you soon!" he told the golden Feien with a smile. With that, Ian buzzed out the door, back home.

Ianios flew to the shop, peering inside to see if there was anyone about. There wasn't, though the shop looked warm and inviting. He flew inside, settling down near Celaien's gemstone. Caressing the gemstone lightly, Ianios glanced about once more, just to be sure. He didn't know if they would be any about to pick on him. He still loved the feien the gemstone had been, but he was about to embark on his "finding himself" journey. He didn't know what he'd find, but he knew he couldn't leave without letting the gemstone know.
Arith had said that Cel's soul would always be with him, but somehow, to Ian, this felt right as well. Assured no one else was about, he hugged the stone, vowing not to cry again. How many tears could one shed, anyway? "How are you doing, Cel?" he asked quietly. "I'm alright, I suppose. I know you have to get lonely just sitting here, but I hope that's not going to be much longer. I don't know when the shop will decide to sell you. I just hope Rynn can get you. I'd very much like to bring you back."
He pondered that. If they did bring him back, would his memory remain intact? Or would he forget everything, even his love for Ian? The green feien shivered, cold. He certainly hoped not, that would crush him further. Maybe it was the right time he went on this self-discovering journey. To see if he could survive without Celaien. Well, so far he was, but he spent most of his time in bed, either sleeping or crying.
How long did feien mourn over their dead? Did their loss hurt as much as his? Did the feien of old even love? Ianios caressed the warm gemstone face, picturing as Cel's face, with the warm amber eyes. He longed to run his fingers through his long hair again, to undo the braid so he could mess it up. Cel never minded that.
Silent tears ran down Ian's face and he dropped his head. If he had been a feien of old, what would they have done with the stone? Buried it? The plant feien's arms shot out, wrapping the warm stone in a protective hug, like the spirits of the old had come to claim the stone. Celaien didn't deserve to be buried in the cold, hard earth all alone. No no, he deserved to be along those who had loved him...those who still loved him.
Ianios glanced around, and seeing no one, slowly let go again. Perhaps he should take his leave, go on his journey. Starting now, even. He hadn't brought any food or anything else with him, but would he really need such? Food was easy to find, he reasoned. He hadn't been hungry the last few days anyway.
He looked to the gemstone, a slight bit of heat coming off the stone. Was Cel trying to tell him something? Wind howled outside the shop, sending a shiver through Ian, though he was on the other side of the glass. Perhaps he should go home, grab a scrap of blanket and some food. At least he'd not freeze and if he wanted to eat, he could.
Ianios bend down, kissing the gemstone lightly. "Thank you, Cel." He sniffed, more tears running down his cheeks, dropping onto the stone's shiny surface. He'd take his journey tonight, with Cel's blessing.

Ianios flew into the kitchen as Fionn visited Aria. He opened the cabinet where the snacks were kept, looking for something to take on his trip. He still had no idea where he was going, but he had to get away.
His eyes settled on the bag of sunflower seeds. They were small enough that one or two would fill him up, and he could carry a lot. He had no idea how long he'd be gone either. He managed to get the bag open and flew inside, opening a small pouch he had found in his exploration of the house. Gathering the salty seeds, he poured them into the bag. Sealing it and tossing it over his shoulder, he flew out of the bag. Turning around, he sealed the bag using the zipper on top. Thank the heavens for those.
Leaving the cabinet, he closed the door, landing on the countertop. Rynn kept their things out, so they wouldn't get lost when Aria washed them. They were too small for Rynn to attempt to wash. Walking over to the small cups, he grabbed one, stuffing it into his pouch.
He flew back to the bedroom, grabbing his blanket and pillow. He had another pouch he had found as well, and stuffed them into it. Kneeling to scratch Akira's head, he looked around the room. Ian knew he'd miss everyone, his dogs and wolves especially, but they'd be well cared for. Maybe he'd find himself pretty quickly.
Ianios gathered his things, flying to the living room where Rynn was. She was sitting on the couch, stitching something. He flew over, landing on her knee.
"Rynn...I'm heading out now."
She looked up laying the stitching aside. Ian glanced at it and noticed it was of a mermaid. She was pretty good at cross stitching he noticed. "Alright, Ian," she said softly.
Ianios knew this pained her, but he also knew she had given her blessing for him to do this. If he had felt it important enough, she wouldn't stand in his way. "I'll be back, soon, promise." He gave her a dazzling smile, trying to cheer her up.
Rynn nodded, rubbing the top of Ian's head with her finger. "I'll miss you."
Ianios nodded, enjoying the head rub. "I know. But I'll be back soon, I promise."
"Be careful ok?"
"I will." Ian watched as she leaned over, removing a small white and pink jacket from her bag beside her, It looked like something Aria would wear, not him.
"Take this. It's a Barbie doll's, but it was the warmest thing I could find." Rynn held it out to the green feien.
"But..." he began.
The dragoness shook her head. "No buts Ian. I know it's not your style, but it's warm."
Ianios looked at it. It looked like it would swallow him. And how was he suppose to fly wearing that thing? Maybe he wasn't suppose too, maybe she was wanting him to wrap up in it at night. Shrugging, he took it, stuffing it into his bag with his pillow and blanket. "Alright, I guess I'll go now."
Rynn nodded, looking down at her feien. She really was going to miss him. "Be careful."
"I will." With that, he picked up his bags, and flew to the door. He turned, smiling. "Tell Aria I said bye."
"I will." She waved as he turned around, flying out. Once he was a good distance away from the house, he turned to get one last glance. Then he flew towards the shop, towards the great unknown.

Nov 20
Ianios had been staying in his den the last few days since leaving home on his journey. He really had no clue where to go or what exactly to do to "find himself." It was cozy there, even after he had tossed all his leaves back out. He had layed out the blanket and pillow, using the jacket to cover himself at night. His bag of food was near the door and his cup sat nearby. It was quiet there, in the den as most of the woodland creatures had either left for warm places or had bedded themselves down.
Being quiet was actually good. It gave Ian time to think. And think he did. Deep down, if Rynn could get Celaien's stone back, he knew he'd miss Cel for the rest of his life. He didn't know if he could find another to love, like Arith said he might one day.
He had given thought on asking Aria if she would want to breed with him, out of friendship since it seemed now that neither would get their dreams. Nigel was gone, and though Fionn had recently returned, and there was Maq, he didn't know what would happen there. Would either ask her? Maq gave Ian the impression he was more a playboy than anything, so not likely there. He wouldn't want to have kids running around.
What about Fionn? Would he ask Aria? Ianios wasn't sure, but it seemed likely. When he had stayed that month over the summer, it seemed like the light feien had really liked his sister. But then after he left, he too had vanished. Still Ian knew he'd at least bring up the subject with Aria.
Still, that didn't help him with his problem. Could he let go of Cel if Rynn couldn't get the stone? And if she did and couldn't bring him back...how long would it be before he had to merge? It was either or. Either Cel was reborn or he'd merge. He couldn't hold the stone as long as Aria held onto hers. Then again, both of them wanted to breed as well, and Aria wasn't sure when she wanted to merge.
Ianios knew he wanted to however. He wouldn't feel right if he couldn't, then Celaien would be a part of him forever. Even if his hair grew long, he'd braid it like Cel had his. He wouldn't mind the changes, it would feel right. Well, if Cel had gotten the chance to grow up and breed with him that would have felt right. But things happened. Ian adored Cel, couldn't wait to see him when he got the chance, but now...now it almost hurt to look at the stone.
Did feien have souls? Ianios was sure they did. Surely they didn't die, leave a gemstone behind, and that was it. There had to be something else, a feien heaven if it were. Where every feien went once life was done with them. Where they could watch over their loved ones. Ianios couldn't picture the end as that, the end. Nothing left but a gemstone, pretty, but empty.
Ianios sighed, sitting up on his makeshift bed. He hugged his knees to his chest, thinking. He was given no choice really. He'd have to let go of Cel whether he got the gemstone or not. There was that high possibily that Rynn would not win the stone. And if she did, they didn't know if they could bring him back. And if they could, would Cel even remember?
Gah...too much. He had to lay down. He would sort more through his feelings and thoughts in the morning.
