Ghostflower clutched a pillow, as she breathed heavily, her energy completely gone as Claw sucked it right out of her. Her hair stuck to her face and her eyes were a faded pink.

Claw was breathing heavily, the white mist retreating from his eyes, revealing his pupils and the sharp gray of his eyes. His arms were wrapped around Ghostflower as he lay there, absolutely tired.

Ghostflower rolled over onto her side to face Claw and smiled at him wearily. Her breathing still fast and painful. She cuddled into Claw laid her head on his chest, listening to his heart beat.

Claw smiled back, then let his head fall to his pillow. He stared at the ceiling, still smiling. "A second chance... to think I've never really believed in them." he said softly to himself.

Ghostflower laughed softly and looked up at Claw with a small sweet smile. She wrapped her arms around his neck and brought hersel closer to him.
"Thank you..." She whispered in his ear.

Claw gave her a small squeeze. "Thank you for giving me that second chance." he said, rubbing his cheek to hers softly. "I love you..." he whispered.

Claw gently kissed the top of Ghostflower's head, falling asleep himself. Hours later, he was wakened by the ringing of his cell phone on the dresser by his bed. Flipping it open, he said quietly, trying not to wake up Ghostflower. "So, you want me to take down a troublesome hunter here in New York? Alright." he closed the phone, slipping from the bed without disturbing Ghostflower. He left a note on the dresser.
Ghostflower, I'm on a hunt. I will be back today or tomorrow.
Claw dressed in his hunting clothes, padding silently from his apartment.

Ghostflower woke up and noticed Claw was gone. She saw a piece of paper on the dresser and grabbed it, reading the note. She blew a rasberry in response, she felt crummy all of the sudden and very hungry. She slipped out of bed, not caring to put clothes on and walked into the kitchen, getting out every foos she could find and taking it to the table. She smiled and sat ontop of the table, starting to eat.

Claw dragged himself wearily through his door hours later, his hair plastered to his forehead with blood from a long, shallow cut on his head. A long gash ran along one bicep, dripping blood through the bandage he'd wrapped it in. Most Lycans had at least a little healing ability. The price Claw paid for his exceptional hunting abilities was that he had none. Closing the door behind him, he groaned. "Ugh, I need a shower, then maybe Ghostflower could check out this gash. Damn hunter and his damn sword. Shouldn't have let my guard down and gotten close."

Ghostflower had fallen asleep ontop of the table from eating to many sweets and desserts. She woke up when she heard the door close. She lfted her head and saw Claw, who looked exhausted, dirty, and alittle bloody.
"Claw..? Are you okay?" She asked, feeling rather cold all of the sudden since she didn't have clothes on.

Claw walked into the kitchen, admiring Ghostflower. "I'm okay. Just got stupid." he said, wetting a washcloth and cleaning the blood from his face. "At least the head wound's stopped. I'll be back in a second." he said, stepping into his bathroom, too tired to even close the door. Undressing carefully, avoiding his wound, he stepped into the shower, letting the hot water wash the blood and grime from his body.

Ghostflower smiled slightly and slipped off the the table. She walked into the bedroom and put on new panties and found a shirt that belonged to Claw. She slipped it on and walked into the bathroom, waiting to heal Claw.

Claw stepped from the shower, laughing as he saw Ghostflower in one of his shirts. It was so big on her delicate frame. Sitting down, he carefully unwrapped his arm, the wide gash across his bicep still bleeding slowly. "Would it be too much to ask you to check this out?" he asked, wincing slightly at the wound's contact with air. As he did, he caught a glimpse of himself in his mirror. "Wow, great look to come back home wearing." he said.

Ghostflower smiled. "No trouble at all..." She said, looking at the cut. She twisted her face up alittle bit as she thought what to do. "Hold on, this may hurt." She warned, her right hand glowing purple. She placed her hand ontop of the wound and healed it within a few seconds, leaving nothing, not even a scar.
"All done. I can do the one on your forehead too.." She offered.
