Fetus Cakes I have three files. The first I missed the Zodiac Spear because of the tricky treasures. The second, I was like, "Oh boy, I'm gonna get that spear!" And then I accidentally opened the treasure. Now on the third, I'm trying not to open any of the ones you're not supposed to but they're seducing me! Wow. D: So you've started over the game like three times? I'm too lazy to do that. I really need to stop being lazy. I need like energy/motivation pills or something. D:<

It's nice to know I'm not the only one who had a giant WTFAAAAAAAAARRRGH!!!! moment with the Pharos Subterra level. And can anyone tell me wtf the problem is with that damn Magic Pot? I'm just sitting there, rezzing people as fast as I can in order to run away, and finally I just said screw it, I can't get 2 steps before I have to rez again, and I just let it kill me.
And where I am now - why the f*ck, when I'm in Lhusu Mines, does the goddamned Disma show up every couple of feet like an eery-a** Floor Monster and then kill everything in sight in 5 seconds or less while taking practically no damage? Everything ELSE down there is decently killable. I cannot WAIT to get high enough level to go back there and stomp that thing back into the damn floor it came from.

Bubble belts are the shiz. My sister had huge problem with the Mom Bomb. D: She finally got past it though.
How much HP do those Disma things have? D8 It seems like they have 306476486 HP.

I still get lost in Rabanastre. :l I tried to fight through the Subterra again and then was brutally raped upon leaving the elevator. It was horrific and I'm pretty sure I'm too traumatized to return there.

Lowtown was traumatizing as well. I couldn't for the life of me get out, so I had to reset the game. D: The map confused the crap out of me for the longest time. It was all like, "Hay, I'm going to show you going one way when you're really going another way. Have fun getting lost!"

Yeah, it took me forever to figure out lowtown. It's has like a maze, and it all looks the same no matter where I go. Now matter how much I want to avoid lowtown, it's the only way to waterway.
Speaking of the waterway, I hated fighting cuchulainn(sp?) Why do you have to drain my HP, give me sap, and use invert all at the same time!? Am I not dying fast enough for you?

Uh...I...I totally kicked Cucu's a**. Of course, that was probably largely because I didn't figure out how to get to him until I gave up and had someone read off all the dang steps while I played along. I think I was like 5 or 6 levels higher than recommended in the guide.
I FINALLY killed the stupid Disma. I ran like hell until I got to the room with the wee blue save point. Then I discovered that his eerie a** would wait in the next room while I went and saved my progress in slaying his stupid stupid creepy self. I think I had to save about five times (and get all my happy Quickening MP back) before he finally did the decent thing. Now he doesn't show up anymore. 3nodding Compared to him, Gilgamesh was a BREEZE. Well, a nasty and unhealthy breeze, but a breeze nonetheless. And I got the shiny happy Genji Helm from him, which made me smile.

With everyone at level 67 and Deathgaze at level 50, I finally killed it. Basch was the only one left and he had like 200 HP and Deathgaze was getting ready to hit me with one of his attacks when he dropped dead. Talk about luck. And my new ARGWTFWHYWONTUDIE! moment is Diabolos won't let me kill him. He's only level 46, that's a 21 level difference and I still can't kill him. D:<

I didn't read all of the other replys so I'm not sure if this has happened to anyone else! Probably has though, or at least that's what I'm telling myself to make me feel a little less like an idiot.
I started playing the game again in May to refresh my memory of all the things that happend in it before Pharos and Bahamut. In my previous game I'd been playing for 100+ hours (over the course of at least one year since I don't have the time to play all the time even if I wanted to!) and had everyone levelled up nicely and had a nice amount of side quests/espers/hunts etc. completed. So, I started a new game and at the first save crystal I saved it on the same slot as the previous one out of habit. I nearly started crying for my loss.
I also lost the Zodiac spear according to the official walkthrough since I collected all the treasures I wasn't supposed to in order to gain the said spear and didn't realize it until I was half-way through to Giruvegan. Tough luck I suppose but made me want to rip my hair out!
I also noticed and didn't like the fact how Basch regained his strenght so fast after nearly starving to death. Oh well, what else is there.
And then after I finished with Giruvegan in my first save I didn't have any teleport stones and without thinking of utilizing the airship transportation in Rabanastre I walked all the way to Balfonheim. Oh how I admire my brilliance. I'll try not to make these mistakes again!
