Jason chuckled at that remark. The stairs when he can jump? Of course he could jump down if she could do it. There he goes again with "If they can do it, so can I", again. So he jumped while pushing off of the railing with his right hand. The impact of the ground made him land unbalanced and so he landed in a crouch with his left hand in front of him, gripping the ground so he wouldn't fall forward. He quickly took to his feet and smiled. "Hello." was all he could say at the moment.

((No worries hun...we've all been kinda slow at posting lately. xd ))
Elaina offered her sister an understanding look, masked by a smile that was no less genuine. It always warmed her to have her Sisters near. Turning her attention to the young man who was Victoria's companion, she nodded graciously.
"I am pleased to make your acquaintance. You must be one of Jason's friends. He will be..."
At the thump behind her, a smile spread over the Eldest's cold features, warming them into pleasure. This one could keep up; she couldn't say why that pleased her so greatly, but there it was.
"...I was going to say 'down in a moment'. You have almost made a liar of me."
Humor glinted behind her eyes as she turned her head, tilting it up to regard Jason's face as he approached her side. Yes, she would need to speak with her Sisters about these men. And soon, she realized, as her mouth watered in response to the scent of him. Very soon.
"Jason, this is Victoria, another of my sisters."

Edward gave a small nod toward Elaina, then knelt next to Nanabell. He raised an eyebrow as he took the guitar, then stood, guitar gripped tight in his hand.
'I'm Edward.' He said, introducing himself to Elaina. '...Hey Jason.' He gave a small smile to his friend, then looked cautiously at the dog.

"Nice to meet you, Victoria." Jason said as he nodded towards her. "Hey, Ed." He smiled then looked at the dog. "Hey little guy." he said as he went towards the dog to pet him.

Nanabell yipped at beings called little guy, she stuck her nose up into the air and trotted away from him, circling around behind Elaina.
Victoria smiled and nodded her head to Jason, "Nice to meet you too," she laughed lightly as Nanabell trotted away. "She's a very sensitive dog."

"Whoops." Jason said when he found out the dog was a girl. He put his right hand behind his head and scratched it a bit while his eyes were closed. He gave a nervous laugh. "Ha ha, I knew that." He then opened his eyes and squatted down to look at Nanabell. "Sorry about that Nanabell. If you were a boy you would be very handsome as you are beautiful as a girl." he said as he tried to cover his fault and smiled.

Nanabell gave a laughing bark and licked his cheek, forgiving him of the misremark.

Jason smiled and petted Nanabell softly. His red eyes staring at her as he petted her soft fur. "So what is her name?" he asked, looking up at Victoria.

Nanabell sat down and pushed her nose into Jason's palm.
"Nanabell," Victoria answered and sat down in the grass, running her hand across her greyhounds sleek white hide.

"Quite a long time, since she was a pup," Victoria took a pause calculating the years. "about 5 or so years." That was a lie of coarse, she had had Nanabell for about seventy years.

Edward stayed quiet as he obsevered Elaina. These two confused him. Why was there womething abnormal around here? They seemed, well odd, so it fit, but...something was off. He sighed and turned his gaze to Nanabell. 'She's only five?' He asked, kneeling next to her and petting the dog.

Jason said nothing else. Something did not add up. There was something in Victoria's voice that gave him a sense that she was lying. He could tell. A good lier can tell when someone else is lying quiet easily.

"Mmhmm," Victoria said very aloof. "Still just a puppy," That wasn't quite a lie, Nanabell was a puppy, she would never grow up, very much like herself.
