Fury listens to Vincent's proposal, then bows his head in agreement. "Thank You once again my friend. If it becomes necessary, I will let you know of my need. Until then, let us find this Dragon God and reward him for his misdeeds." As the door to the larder opens, a surge of energy seems to fill Fury's eyes, a direct result of the horror contained within the cold chamber. "Mother of all that is Holy, what kind of monster would do this?" Fury follows Djanni and Vincent inside, quickly checking the other hanging forms for any sign of life.

*Djanni directs Vincent to carry the person out of the freezer. She motions Perrian to follow.*
"Perrian, go with him; we'll need your healing powers if this individual is to recover." *turning to Fury, she says* "Any other survivors?"

While Fury continues to check the hanging forms for signs of life, Perrian and Vincent bring the barely living form down from it's hanging position. Upon closer inspection, you find a that wrapped within the sacking is a male gnome, barely hanging on to the feeble spark that is his life's flame. Fury finishes his search with a regretful shake of his head, signifying that no others have survived the atrocities of this chamber.

Vincent looks at the gnome with sadness in his eyes and turns to Perrian. "Master Perrian, can you heal him?" Vincent, knowing all too well he can, leaves the question unanswered as he goes back into the freezer, which he checks for any of bodies that have only recently died.

Perrian nodded and started to perform healing on the wounded gnome. He was quiet while he fully concentrated his energy into his spells to heal the wounded gnome.

The wounds slowly heal, due to the care provided by Perrian. As the terrible wounds fade, the gnome begins to stir, coming closer and closer to consciousness. Opening his eyes, he looks at Perrian and say in a weak voice,"My... wife... you... must... help her." His hand slowly raises, pointing at a hanging bundle near where you found him. "Please... she... she... is... my... life. Without her... you might as... well... kill me." His hand drops to his side, as he falls back into unconsciousness.

Vincent, hearing the gnome's plea, grabs the bundle and slowly carries it over to the other gnome's side. Removing the sack with a careful cut from the sword, Vincent looks to Perrian with evident worry. "Perrain, he was the only living creature we found before. This one is probably dead as well. I don't know how powerful your healing really is, but do you have any technique at your disposal to revive her?" Vincent then pulls back at the cut material, revealing the creature within.

*Djanni, seeing that all is being done that can be done for these unfortunate creatures, scuttles off to find an isolated corner in which she can safely (and with dignity) release the early morning breakfast that is struggling to climb its way out her throat. Even the Fire within her seems slightly nauseated, though from the horror of the chamber or its freezing temperatures, she does not know.*

Perrian sighed and looked down at the floor. "Unfortunately, not yet Vincent. I am researching an item to bring some life back to a person, I have even gone to the extent of researching an item to bring back life to a person at the cost of some of my life. I will try my best to heal her, I promise you that. If I can't heal her now lets try to keep her body in good condition and bring both of these gnomes with us. If I can finish my research I might be able to revive her from the grave if she is too far for my current powers and for Luljeta's powers." Perrian said and summoned his dragon, Luljeta. 'What is it master?' Luljeta said to Perrian telepathically. "Luljeta, lets try to heal this gnome. I know she may be past the state our powers can heal but lets try to, even if it drains some of our energy to the state of exhaustion. We have two lives at stake here." Perrian said and started healing the woman gnome and Luljeta started to perform healing to the woman gnome.

As you begin your tender ministrations, a curious feeling of kinship arises between you and the dead woman before you; it is almost as if you have known the person before you. Of course, you know this cannot be true, as you have never before this time met. However, the general peace and tranquility you currently experience has only happened in one other place; in the presence of Gabriel of the Angelic Choir. Your understanding begins to grow as you feel a strong presence hovering near; the presence of the woman's soul. Slowly, a possibility fills your mind; a single opportunity to bring this woman back. As the Angelic Choir requires sacrifice for the benefit of others, so to may that sacrifice benefit it's members. It falls to you to make the final decision however, as the sacrifice is yours. You know that given the appropriate amount of time, you may use the normally abrupt and final Angelic Sacrifice to bring this woman back to the world of the living, without losing your own life as well. However, doing so would deprive your party of the potential saving grace of the Ability, so the sacrifice would be theirs as well. You sense that the decision must be made soon, or the opportunity will be lost.

Perrian twitched as a weird feeling of kinship arose between the dead woman and him. "Do I know you?" He whispered to the dead woman, knowing that it is almost impossible to have known her before but he thought he did. He knew what must be done, even if it possibly diminished the chances of saving the group of uncertain death in the battle versus Rudolph, to save not just her life but the life of her husband. He dismissed Luljeta and Luljeta turned into light particles which went back into the air. "Please, all friends, back up. I know what I must do and I am sorry if this compromises our chances of winning later on against Rudolph. Please, silence." Perrian said then performed Angelic Sacrifice. After the Angelic Sacrifice was performed he was out of breath and breathing heavily in response to the large amount of energy it took to perform the ability. "Are you ok?" He asked the woman.
