"Spending quality time with our beloved bro majorly creeps me out," Aphrodite said as an explanation, a shudder running up her spine at the memory. While she and Ares were family, and she did love him like a brother, they were on opposite sides of the spectrum in causes and whenever she helped him out, it left her feeling dirty. Since when did love and war help each other? Of course, she was sure if she thought on it long enough, she could come up with a few instances. That wasn't really on her list of things to do at the moment, though.

Ares tends to give that effect on women.
-Athena smirks in a cold, and bitchy way while she paces around a bit. She was still concerned about the misfortune Ares is dragging Aphrodite in to, and knew that when it comes to Ares, it's better to get to the bottom of things before it gets out of control.-
So, tell me dear sister. What exactly did this quality time consist of?

-Athena understood perfectly what Aphrodite was talking about and immediately stormed off to Ares. She flung open the doors, and saw Ares sitting on his bed fiddling with the chakram of light.-
Ares! Who do you think you are? Just because you're the god of war, you have no right to commit such an abomination.
And for what? To pass the time away? You are the biggest waste of immortality I've ever seen.

-Athena looks at Ares in disbelief, and he returns the glance with confusion at what in Zeus's name she was talking about. Athena laughed, and clapped her hands together causing a burst of confetti and glitter shower on top Ares.-
You really thought that your big sister would forget your birthday?
Of course not!
So come now, Ares. Be a good boy and get dressed.
I'm taking you to the zoo.

The Goddess of love sighed as she watched her sister disappear to talk to Ares. That had been a dreadfully boring visit with the goddess of wisdom and warfare. She sighed again before sparkling out of the main hall and popping into her bedroom, landing on the pink, fluffy bed once more. It was a sad day indeed when the Goddess of Love was depressed for no reason.
"Maybe I need to go pay a visit to Hephy..." she thought aloud, resting her chin on her knees as she thought. She quickly dismissed the idea. She hated going into the dark depths of Mount Olympus just to see her husband. Then again, she tended to forget that she was married. She really wanted to see Xena and Gabrielle, but she figured that the two of them had had enough of the gods meddling in their lives for the moment. Then again, since when had that stopped her from visiting her favorite duo? A grin appeared on her face as she stood up from her bed and sparkled out of the room, heading for Amphipolis.

-Appears back inside the great halls, and takes out a gold key to open a small closet door. Inside, there lay the chakram of light. Athena picks it up, and turns it over a couple times, getting a good look at it while waiting for Ares to return.-
