Clambake Last year and the year before that we sang out our parts on the way back from our band tours around the state. It was fun. It was amazing how well we had actually memorised our own parts so well... same, plus the percussion had their mallets with them.

We sing songs and be impossibly annoying pests until our teacher is ready to strangle us with our own instruments. My personal favourites are; '99 Bottles of Pop on the Wall', and 'The Twelve Days After Christmas"

Listen to music and sleep... (god I have no life but considering they don't let us sing on the bus, sleeping is good)

Heh, on the bus ride to the hotel in Anahiem the day we arrived at D-land, my good friend (and fellow alto sax) and I started calling out all the road signs we saw. We ended up calling out "call box" so many times that we were eventually having a competition to see who could call out the most call boxes eek
Plus, on the bus ride back to the airport, one of the chaperones was taking pics of people sleeping. He didn't get me, thankfully, because I had my fedora over my face sweatdrop
How's that for first band trip? We don't have competitions, so trips are a huge ordeal.

Yup, we sing songs, and we have actually sang our band songs too. We, well, got through it, but as it turns out, some ppl are just better suited to PLAYING music rather than singing it. sweatdrop And one time my friend got high off a Sharpie, that amused us for awhile. 3nodding

hmm...When I was in the band..we would sing songs...umm...come up with new ideas for songs to play...anything we could to to make things interesting....I usually didnt take part much...I was more serious about everything...I would usually steal a seat for myself alone and listen to hard rock and prepare my mind for performing...then again...my school's football team sucked yet we packed in crowds who were there mainly to see the band and I never disappointed...(I always worked up something new for myself to do to get the crowd exited.)

Our favorite thing to do on the bus is to sing our parts to our PEP band songs! It's great! It shows how well we know our music and how much of band geeks we are!

We sing. Loudly! And many of us out of tune, or on a different song than the rest. Or sleep. Because we all are good friends, so we just pick the most comfy place to lean, and sleep in a big tangled lump. Quite comfy.
