Sirree Wisperwind No I HATE it when (I sit first chair so it's even more annoying) When the last chair is like 'That's not how you play' Do I see you sitting first chair? I think not. Or when The band director stopped us and every keeps playing. Subs in band. don't even get me started. haha. o.O
and when someone gets singled out for playing their part wrong..I hate having to sit there and they aren't getting better because they won't subdivide.
and I like you siggy wisperwind. =]

I hear that. Those silly kids that just keep playing because they feel like it have got to be one of the most irratating things that come with the band courses.

When people say im in the woodwinds class and should be in the brass (grade school) because im playing a sax. during a concert the trumpets play to loud and you cant hear anything else. When people think i have a trupet when they look at my case evil

saxophones are woodwinds. that's not one of those argued statements. It's fact. And I have a story about those not watch the conductor kids. Every year we go to UMASS band day. (look it up on Youtube) there's about 3,000 people there. playing together. and we only have about 3 hours to learn our formation/routine (it's really easy we just have to count a certain amount of beats and then walk out to our spot) and our music (much harder to do with 3000 bandies and 3 hours. especially since we usually get our music like the day before.) It's amazing though. We actually sound good when we perform! ....anyway.....to my point. when we practice our routine, We'll play and the conductor will stop us and like half the band will keep on playing. X_X I wanted to shoot them. I mean c'mon. the conductor's up on one of those HUGE tractor lifts hundreds of feet in the air. you can't miss him. X_X

There is this girl in my section, who dropped her instrument twice puting really bad dents in it and wouldn't admit she did it, is now complaining that she isn't allowed to play the horn that was just redone and cost a couple thousand dollars to do. I mean come on, if you can't keep hold of the instrument your playing what makes her think she'll get to play the really expensive one. Especially when the school didn't pay for any of it. That just ticks me off. evil

I hate it when we had big band and all the clarinets would laugh/fuss at the trumpets for hitting two wrong notes. Of coarse, we got our revenge because they just freaking sucked any way, so every time one of them screeched or got lost in their melody, we would laugh/fuss back at them. (Which was a lot, mind you.) The trumpets and baritones are the strongest part of our band.

I sit next to the saxophones and there is this kid and he anoyes the crap out of everybody even the BD! Honestly, we spend half the time screaming, 'KEEEEEEEEEEGAN!!!" and punishing him. He don't know how to play, don't practice, has no consideration for the ppl who actally want to be there for reasenons that don't involve being immature, and blames everyone else. He blares and playes slow so we all have to play along and be slow stare . I also hat it when a BD favors one group. She is always saying, "You need to be more like percussion!" but they are really bad. For examle, if they're s'pose to go, "Bump bump bump" they're all like, "BAbumpy babump babububump babump". AAAAAAARG!!

and I forgot to mention, I was coming back from a concert at my school, feeling proud, and this girl in my class has to ruin it! It went like this:
"EEEEEEEEW! A Trumpet!"
"Um, it's a Baritone,"
"Who cares, its stupid anyway,"
"Uh!" stressed

-I hate it when I volunteer to put music away and find it majorly out of score order. I mean, it only takes 5-10 to put it order. I understand there are a couple hundred songs, but even the music played every year is disorganized. I want to be the librarian next year so bad because of it.

I hate it when-
~the trumpets decide they each need their own stand (its mainly the upper classmen) so I have to go to the choir room and borrow one.
~People dis us freshies (even if we actually play very well)
~the trumpets get the music wrong from fooling around and we have to do it many times and they still cant get it right
~people (or me) are out of tune
that's all for now... I may think of more tho
