"What will you do now? I'm sure Ginrei is shocked at this news that you've killed his one and only parents, and you were his sister too. Now I ask you again, are you sure that you do not need my help?"Ikko pressed the matters further and further into Shizuku's closet of skeletons.

"Ginrei...please don't cry...I know...I'm your big sister...and I've killed in cold blood..." Shizuku sobbed, her pauses in her sentence caused by choking on her tears.
"I'll...I'll..." She tried to think. She then whispered, "I'm sorry." And hit Ginrei, knocking him out in her arms.
"I...think I do..." Shizuku said quietly.

"What task do you want my services for now?" Ikko had a good idea of what Shizuku was thinking, but to be sure he wanted to her it from her lips.

"I want...you to go to Reijin, with a letter I'll write...I must tell him...and this is final...my last chance...to see...if he truly loves me. If he doesn't, I know he won't stay." Shizuku answered.
"As for Ginrei, I hope he can accept me. If not, his memory shall be erased, and he'll forever not know of his sister." She said to Ikko.

Ikko was surprised at Shizuku's answer "Consider the letter already sent, as for the child I have a less....Brutal idea for him if you don't mind, that is?" Ikko said, implying his justice was the holier of the two.

"Go ahead and state your idea." Shizuku commented, holding her brother in her arms, and looking down at the ground.

Ikko nodded to Shizuku "I can take your brother away from here, from his ast and protect him from bad memories and other dangers such as shinobi, I could give him a new start where he can do what he wants and not be confined within these walls. I would visit once a month so you can choose to take him back when ever you choose. How does sound?" Ikko paused a moment to whisper to Shizuku. "The boy, no, Ginrei deserves to know who his sister is, he has no one else., he also deserves to know the truth and keep it with him" Ikko actually sounded compassionate, this was not seen often from his icy actions and words.

"Please do so...please keep him safe." Shizuku said, knowing it was best. She too was suprised by his words.

"Prepare the letter and I'll be off, once the letter is done say your goodbyes and we'll be off."Ikko seemed to be getting too soft, it must have been from staying around this girl who cried too much. Ikko handed Shizuku a towel like rag. "Dry yourself off or else you'll catch a cold."

Shizuku took the rag, and dried her eyes, sniffling. She dropped the rag to the ground, and proped her brother against the tree.
She took out a folded piece of paper, and got out a pen to write with. Quickly writing with a steady hand, she felt her tears return. They ran down her cheeks, and fell onto the paper. She wiped her eyes her sleeve, and folded the paper neatly.
"Goodbye Ginrei, you are the closest thing to me...though...hate me as you will, I'm not that bad of a big sister...I saved you...from them." She moved his hair away from his forehead, and planted a light kiss on it, then stroked his cheek.
She picked him back up in her arms once more, and held the letter and him in her arms.
"Here..." She tried to hide her tears, but she knew they wouldn't stop.

Ikko took the paper and the boy in his arms. "I'll drop off the letter and we'll leave, we won't come back here, you'd most likely cry again." Ikko looked down at the boy's face. "What will you do now?" Ikko awaited the answer, after Shizuku's response he would leave for Reijin's house then leave the Village of the Mist.

"I got nowhere to go...and knowing him...he'll reject me, I'll go back to living on the street again...I don't mind." She commented, looking at Reijin's house in the distance.

Ikko let his arms droop a little as a bag fell from his sleeve. he didn't attempt to even pick it up, Ikko just spun his back to Shizuku and turned his head to his left. "Take it. It'll only last a month so you'll need a job to keep yourself alive. There's also an abandoned building to the north of the village you can live there until you can afford a place....and try talking to Reijin there's a chance he may understand you." Ikko turned his back foward and ran off with Ginrei, the letter, and his back to the newly born sun.
Ikko reached Reijin's house easily since before he came to the village he had already memorized a map of who own which buildings in case an assassination order was given during his stay. Ikko made his way to the door and slipped the note within the crack and left one echoing knock on the door just before bolting for the gates of the village.
Ikko reached the gates soon after leaving Reijin's estate. The gate was guarded but that wouldn't matter, Ikko laid out and barrage of remote detonating smoke cannisters upon his entry to the village. Ikko removed a remote detonator with his only free hand and set off the cannisters, both surprising the guards and covering his escape. By the time the Guards figured out someone was trying to leave the village and not infiltrate it, he and Ginrei would be long gone.

Shizuku walked over, and picked up the bag from the ground, and looked at it. Doing what he said, she held the bag in her arms, and jumped onto the roof of a building.
Running across them, she could see the gate. Finally getting to it, she jumped over, and landed on the grass. Looking into the distance, there was the abandoned house Ikko had spoke of.
Shizuku headed to it, walking, and carrying the bag. She made her way, slowly, and got to the abandoned house. Pushing the greenery away, she put her hands against the wall. She found the door way, and twisted the doorknob, the door creaking open.
She stepped inside, and looked around, a sense of fear making her face pale. She closed the door, and began to examine her new home. "Be strong..." She muttered. "I'm alone..."

As Shizuku cried a small rolled up note fell from the bag Ikko dropped, it read 'Dear Shizuku, whatever you do, don't chase Reijin, just give him some room for awhile, also don't use THAT, especially on him. I know you'll probably think nothing of this note but I also want to tell you something else, don't try and find me. If we need to meet I'll find. Finally, if you cry even one more time Reijin can never be yours...... ~signed Ikko~' there was a small cibi picture Ikko drew of himself my his name on the note in case Shizuku forgot who he was.
