A quick run down of his jacket produced a small notepad with a ink pen clipped onto the rings scribbling down a thing or two before it was closed once more but remained in the safety of his hands. Then his mind went to working putting each face with a name for memory reference later. At this rate it was indeed going to be quick with barely a handful of people to interview both groups would have most of the day to themselves once more. “If there is a spare room we can use then let’s go ahead and start with you, Mr. Lenns.”

Miomoko looked over at Gaddwick, he seemed so stressed. She got up and walked over to the chair across from him and sat down. She hesitated to speak for a few seconds, so she re-adjusted the now dry Kian on her lap. "Hi..." She said and kind of trailed off. Then she warmed up to the idea of conversation, "You seem fairly stressed, may I ask what happened?"

"Sorry. Its been sort of a rough week." Gaddwick said as he sighed, "Last week some group attacked our base. It used to be near Victory road but its burnt down since then. From what I could see it looked like someone riding a Charizard. We lost the building but thankfully nobody got seriously hurt. That was about 2 weeks ago. The real problem came just a few days ago. Jack's Lucario found papers that incriminated our head scientist. But he was the only one trapped in the fire so I can't believe it was him. That's why the police are here today. I just can't see a way for this to end happily. I just hope its over soon." He coughed lightly then looked up trying to brighten himself up a little. "Actually I was hoping we could all enter the Indigo league. You might not be able to enter into the official completion but I bet you could get into the Little Cup. We need at least three to enter the team rankings. Are you willing to join?"

Jack's hands were shaking as he was lead into the room. After a few minutes Jack came back and sat next to Gadd. "Gaddwick...sir...I'm sorry I arrived so late...maybe the HQ wouldn't have burned down if I was there." He held is head in his hands crying a little.

Miomoko watched as Jack lowered his head into his hands. She couldn't help but watch, and think about how he must've felt. She wanted to say something, but wasn't really sure what to say, especially since she didn't really know him. She turned back over to Gaddwick and nodded, "That's a good idea."

((OoC: I recomend you do any studying you do on Bulbapedia. Once the tests starts you're on the honor system not to visit any Pokemon sites. Browsing old parts of the guild will be allowed though.))

"Okay. I'll explain the test to you. Its going to be held in Viridian this year but I volunteered at the Safforon city test a few years back. You will need 20 points to pass the test. 15 points can be earned in the written exam and 15 in the active exam. The written exam has 3 difficulties 5 questions on each. You get 3 rental Pokemon for the active and earn up to 5 points each depending on your performance.

I can't be positive but in Saffron the easy and hard questions were written awnser and the medium difficulty ones were multiple choice. For the active exam you're generally given Pokemon that the judge thinks you'll have difficulty with. You'll need to think fast and carefully."
