I've always liked aerith's theme from FFVII just because it's pretty and nice.

FFX-2: 1,000 words & that one song that plays in the opening screen, I dunno what it's called but it's absolutely beautiful! All the music in that game is ^____^ & all the music in Beyond Good & Evil

best song in computer games has to be the Kingdom Hearts 1 and 2 openings i have them on my mp3 lol listen to them alll the time love them

I don't have a top three, or well, I couldn't give you one off the top of my head, but I'd have to agree with the first post of Simple and Clean, and I also like the original Unreal Tournament music and that first song in FFX when Tidus is playing that water game (it's been so long since I played, I don't even remember the song, I just remember I liked it) right before his city gets attacked by Sin. I have the whole version of the song somewhere, it's scream-o a bit, and I don't like that, but I love the beginning with the movie.... It rocks!

In no particular order, my top three are FFX's Calm Before the Storm (when walking through Macalania forest), the endtheme from Legend of Dragoon which I think is called If You Believe, and the orchestrated version of Suteki Da Ne which appears at the end of FFX.

Yeah the MArio themes are an all time classic best.
But for the love of god, please don't say you like the english crap-tastic translations of the themes. I much preferred Hikari and Passion (remixed for the opening and the original)
I like the Silent Hill 3 theme, where Heather sings it the video is cool too, and I like the Gackt song Redemption, for Dirge Of Cerebus.

Castlevania Symphony of the night has an awesome soundtrack. For the longest time, I've always had the MGS battle music stuck in my head hehe. Konami does good with music, so does the FF ~ The Black Mages.

I am not a fan of any particular song, but of whole soundtracks. I love Final Fantasy soundtracks, Chrono Cross, Star Ocean anything that sets a certain mood. smile
Though I do love Eyes on Me, I mean who doesn't? Also, If You Still Believe from Legend of Dragoon... *goes to play it*

I dig Passion by Utada Hikaru, but I have no idea if that's from a video game. I always think of it when someone mentions simple and clean.
I really love the Chrono Cross soundtrack, particularly the "Garden of the Gods" by Yasunori Mitsuda. I never even played the game, I borrowed it from a friend of mine and heard the intro so many times I didn't end up having time to by the time my friend wanted it back, haha.

Probably gunna kill me for this, but the charecter themes from Sonic Advanced 2 I think it was called and the song 'Follow Me/City Escape' from the same game. I also like 'Simple and Clean' even though i've never actually played KH xD;;;
