"You didn't have to save me." Noelle muttered, and leaned against the wall, falling asleep sitting up.

Sean looked up, looking more annoyed than he ever was before, "of course it isn't fair!" He spat, "but why can't you two get along for once? You're always snapping at each other, just cut it out, will you?" Sean had never spoken like that to anyone before.

Noelle woke up, and stared at Sean. "I'll try..." she muttered. She didn't like making Sean mad, although it didn't happen often. She curled up. "Hey, did I ever tell you what I ran away from?" She asked quietly.

"What did you run away from?" Sean asked, he knew that Noelle did run away, but he never knew why.

"Nobles..." She said. "I hated it. You heard of that girl who was kidnapped by thieves that stole every bit of jewelry from her mother?" She crossed her legs. "That was me, I wasn't kidnapped, I sold the jewelry, and began entertaining people on the streets." She sighed, but smiled. "Feels good to get that off my chest." She rolled her shoulders back a little. "But they've begun looking again, some mage took a picture of me as a kid, and used it to figure out whether I was alive or not. He gave my entire description, my powers, and my health." She sighed. "I have no idea how, but he did." She looked up. "That's why I hate nobles so much."

"Hmm...." Sean mused, "I do recall that some weird guy dressed in riches told me that, when I was mixing up a brew to cure his cold. I didn't fully understand him though, he talked like he was pinching his nose, which he wasn't." He nodded, "but, yeah, I'm not entirely fond of nobles either, or royals, they have a tendency to think that they're so great and they're the decent folks and peasants are beneath them."

Noelle nodded. "And they made this huge cake for me. All sugar and expensive ingredients and spices. And half of it wasn't even edible." She shook her head. "That's when I ran away. On my sixth birthday they found a bed filled with pillows." She stood up, and stumbled a bit. "Any of that pick-me-up potion? Could sure use it."

Sean nodded silently, digging into a trunk, he pulled out a vial with a label, 'the potion Noelle calls pick me up,' he handed the vial to her, "here," he said quietly.

Noelle grinned drowsily. "I like the sleepy part." She fainted, falling onto Sean.

Ophelia was terribly uncomfortable with all the talk of bad mouthing nobles. Had she not shown them kindness and treated them like equals? It truely upset her and she turned away to hide this. Did all peasents think this way of them?

Kel'ac decided to ignore the talk about nobles. He never really found much of a problem with them. He kept his voice low, so others couldn't hear him. "Are you a Seer?" He asked, somewhat pointing to his own neck, indicating the crystal necklace around Ophelia's. He had met other Seer people besides himself, all of which have similar crystals. He didn't have one at all. However, that did help him blend in a little.

Something about seers made them able to sense one another, a survival technique she supposed.
