American Gangster- 5/5 stars. The movie stars Denzel Washington and Russell Crowe. Washington portrays Frank Lucas, a real-life kingpin from Harlem who smuggled heroin into the US on American service planes returning from the Vietnam War. Crowe portrays Richie Roberts, a detective attempting to bring down Lucas' drug empire.
The acting was phoenominal, The story line was great and it was an all around good movie.

Superbad
The story- It's about two teenagers and their friend Mclovin and all they want to do is get in the pants of the chicks the like, so they get invited to a party and must buy the booze.
The acting- was great, mclovin and the cops where great, seth and even where great also.
The funny was pretty funny throughout the whole movie.
Overall a 9/10
Anchorman
The story- it's about anchorman Ron Burgundy played by Will Ferrel who is the top of his buissiness, then a girl who wants to be the lead named Veronica Corningstone, played by Christina Applegate gets into their newsroom and it's all fine and dandy until she gets the lead on the show, 70's there was a lot of sexism in the newsroom and everybody wanted her out.
The acting- it's good Cristina's funny when she needs to be, Will's does what he does best, and steve correl is pretty funny and is good in every scene. Also there where great cameo's by Luke Wilson, Ben stiller and vince Vaughn, also there was some guy who looked like Jack Black.
The Funny- this movie was funny throut but didn't have that one moment where your rolling around on the floor. Also i checked out the deleted scene's and they should have kept them it.
Overall- it felt long in the beginning and was kinda corny but was a good movie 8.5/10

I looked it up on the internet and it doesn't say he was in it. Edit looked it up on IMDB and it says he was uncredited with the role.

Old school
The story mitch played by Luke wilson comes home to find his girlfreind cheating on him , his friend frank played by Will Ferrel is about to get married and his other friend beanie is unhappy wityh his marriage. the movie really starts when they decide to start a fraternity which becomes so popular the dean played by Jeremy Piven tries to stop it.
The acting- everybody was pretty good in this, Will Ferrel was great and really had all the funny parts in the movie.
The Funny- it's got a few really really funny parts in the movie that had me laughing a lot.
Overall- a pretty good movie, can't really say anything bad. 9/10
Rocky balboa- i was really exicted to see it when it came out becuase i'm a huge fan of the series .
The story-Rocky after the death of his wife is pretty much enjoying being retired and making money off a restuaraunt he owns, that is until he sees ESPN do a feature pitting the greatest fighters of all time against each other, he gets pitted against the current Champ Mason"the line" Dixon, and Rocky wins the computer fight. So after seeing this Rocky wonders if he can go the distance in real life fight.
The acting- was solid, Stallone was really good along with all the others.
The boxing-was short and not as good as the other matches.
Overall- a really good movie, Rocky is pretty much like he was in the first one twith teaching people about life. it was pretty cool to see Rocky in the ring one last time. The only thing that wasn't great was the training and boxing match were both short. 9/10

Friday night lights
The story-after losing their star running back a team rallies around their quaterback and coach.
The acting- really really good tim mcgraw was great as one of the players alchaholic dad.
Overall -a very good movie 9/10
Beowulf
After being terrorized by a monster, a kingdom gets beowulf to take on the monster and his mom played by angelina jolie
Effect- it looked great
Overall- this was a good movie, but had some corny scene's in it.8/10
No country for old men
The story- a guy finds a lot of herion and money, a nother guy played by Javier bardem is the crazy guy going after him and tommy lee jones plays a cop who's going after Javiers charector.
The acting- pretty good Javier was creepy becuase he shows no emotion
Overall- it was good but could have been a lot better if it had been 20 minutes longer( if you've seen the movie you know why) and showed the kill scenes they alluded to.8/10

Bull durham
The story- A old veteran Baseball player named Crash Davis(Kevin Costner) is brought in to help a young hotshot pitcher named Ebby Laloosh(Tim Robbins. Eventually the end up falling for the same girl named
Aniie(Susan Surandon)
The acting- it wasn't anything oscar worthy but it was good.
Overall- it was a good movie that wasn't really serious or really corny 8/10
American ganster
The story
Drug kingpin Frank Lucas(Dezel Washington) tries to become the number drug dealer in the Harlem district of New York City. Richie Roberts(Russel Crowe) is the cop trying to take him down.
The Acting- it was pretty good Denzel was good as usual and Crowe was also good.
Overall- a pretty good movie, a bit long and the ending sucked but overall it was a good movie. 8.5/10 becuase the ending and length.

Alvin and the Chipmunks- 8/10
Story/plot: The storyline was actually pretty good. It spanned from when Dave found the chipmunks to them becoming stars.
Acting: I'm not a big fan of Jason Lee but he did a pretty good job in this film.
There were a few funny parts and it wasn't all that long (the movie was 75 minutes.) I reccomend at least renting it.

Storyline: It had an alright storyline but it could've been better.
Acting: The acting in it was ok but like the storyline the actors could've been better.
It's basically a B horror movie which is fine with me.

I Am Legend
The story is about a man who lives in New York. He is the only one left in the city who wasn't infected by a virus that turns prople almost like some sort of vampires/zombies. He lives alone with his dog and tries to find an antidote for that virus.
A pretty good movie, but way too long for the amount of action and is really repetitive at the beginning and a little too predictable at the end. Besides, I've been really surprised by Will Smith in this movie. I'm usually not a huge fan of him. I think there's only 2 movies where I can say I liked him: this one and "the pursuit of happyness".
Rating: 7/10

Empire Strikes Back, one of the best movies ever 10/10
Return of the jedi, would have been better without the Ewoks. 8/10

Transporter 2
Story Frank martin played by Jason Stathem is a shooffer for this rich family's kid, once the kid gets kidnapped Frank goes back to being The Transporter and goes to rescue him
The acting- Jason Stahem will kick your a**,screw your Girlfreind and make you feel like you did something wrong, also the chick with the six pack was cool also,other than that the acting wasn't to good.
the action-not a whole lot but it was good
Overall- it was sort of dissapointing, if it was all actiong it would have been great, if there's something better on watch that.
7.5/10

Prom Night - I'd give it 4 out of 7 stars. It's pretty much your typical PG-13 horror movie. Don't expect great things. The movie's completely ridiculous, so it amused me in ways not intended by the makers. Minor spoiler alert - One of the things I really like about this movie is that they throw those "make you jump" scenes in there literally every few minutes. It'll get all tense and then OH s**t I KNOCKED INTO A LAMPSHADE LET ME CATCH MY BREATH~! The killer looks like a cross between Tommy Lee and my Chemistry II teacher. I haven't seen the original Prom Night to compare this to, so I couldn't tell you if this is an accurate retelling (probably not). All in all, it's a decent way to waste some time.
