Zane picked her up and they were at the front of the coven's base. His nose smelled their scent. "Here, and now, close you eyes." Once she did, the smell of blood filled the air, and he place a robe, soaked in blood in her hands, and then a necklace.

Elena opened her eyes and looked at the robe and necklace. She reckognized the necklace from one of the vampires. "H-how did you know what coven it was?" Her face bewildered. The necklace had a thick black chain, with a black pendant and a dark crimson stone in the middle. She lifted the necklace up to get a better look at it. Placing it around her neck.

Elena stood there a minute. She didn't realize that they had even been close to her. "...Thank you." As she looked down, afraid to make eye contact with him.

Zane smiled, lifting her head to stare into her eyes. He kissed her lips and smiled "Its ok, I am here. Lets get out of the cold." He wrapped his arms arround ehr and ran back to his house, setting her on the bed. "There..."

Elena smiled as he set her down on the bed. She set the robe down on the floor, and took of the necklace, setting it on top of the robe. She looked up at him and smiled.

Zane smiled, kissing her lips "Anything else my love?" He said as he wrapped his arms arroudn her.

Elena looked up at him. Kissing the base of his neck. "Sleep sounds nice." She grinned.

Elena felt her eyelids slowly drop, falling asleep easy against the warmth of his body.

Zane grinned one last time before he fell asleep, holding her in hsi arms so lovingly.

Tina was walking through her old town, minding her own business carrying food in her hand for her family. They had sent her to go get some. As she got to the door of her house she heard snarling and hissing. "Where is she?" said a voice unrecognizable. "We don't know." Her parents cried in union. Peering through the window she saw a group of vampires huddled around her parents. The door flew open, and a vampire stood in front of her with a smirk on his face. "ELENA RU-" She looked to her parents to see their throats had been ripped out.
"NO!" She screamed as she sat up. Every inch of her was covered in a cold sweat. "It was only a dream." She muttered to herself, her body violently shaking. Tucking her knees into her chest, she took a heavy sigh and closed her eyes.

Zane woke with her, and when she curled up, he hugged her. "Elena? Are you ok?" He looked extremely worried.

"Just...just a bad dream. That's all." She muttered quietly. The images were plastered in her mind and she couldn't seem to get them out. She shut her eyes tightly and leaned against Zane. Her body still shaking.
